Installing MelOn App (Android)
Installing MelOn App (Android)
net
Depending on your location, the Melon (멜론) app more than likely won’t be available from the
Google app store. But this can help you with that! (Process and screens may be slightly different
due to device differences.) You will only be able to stream full songs if you have a Melon
subscription.
With the device that you need the app installed on, navigate to
https://apkplz.com/android-apps/com-iloen-melon-apk-download , verify that you’re not a robot
and click ‘Download APK’.
Your device will begin to download the apk file. You will probably get a pop-up that says “This
type of file can harm your device. Do you want to keep (app name) anyway?”. Tap OK to
continue.
After the file is downloaded, open the downloaded apk file (mine is usually just up in the
notification drop down but every device is different). Unless you have outside app installation
already activated, it will tell you that the installation was blocked.
Go to your settings and enable installation of applications from ‘unknown sources’. I usually use
the option to only enable it for that single installation.
You should then be able to continue with the app installation as normal!
Touching the white space next to a song will highlight the song grey and open up a menu at the bottom of
the screen. On that screen you can choose to play, download, add to playlists or gift the song. You can
also highlight multiple songs with the same functions.
If you have a subscription with a download package and you would like to download song(s), just highlight
the ones you would like to download and hit the download button. It will be saved to the Melon folder on
your device. However, if you would like your streams to count, you need to move the downloads out of the
Melon folder and into another one. If they are not moved, the player will load the downloaded songs
instead and the streams will not count.
