Activity Design Division Robotics Webinar

This document outlines a webinar on robotics for students and teachers in the Division of Sultan Kudarat. The webinar aims to introduce participants to logic using flowcharts and block coding, and challenge them using VexCode VR. It will take place on May 26th in two sessions via Google Teams. At least one coach and three students from each secondary school are expected to participate. The webinar budget is 1,000 pesos and will provide certificates to participants. The webinar is intended to motivate students in robotics and prepare them for STEM careers.

ACTIVITY DESIGN

I. TITLE: ROBOTICS WEBINAR

on Introduction to Logic using Flowcharts and Blocky Coding;
and VexCode VR

II- RATIONALE:

To increase students’ motivation to excel in robotics related

subject and better prepare them for future careers in Engineering,

Pre-Med, Computer Science and Education through hands-on

learning experiences building and programming robots. Technology

has become a vehicle to reaching not only the top students but also

students that might not otherwise be interested in math and science

unless they can see an exciting, real-life application for the acquired

knowledge.

The main objective of this webinar is to make the aspiring

engineers acquainted with the conceptual as well as practical

knowledge of the upcoming ROBOTICS technology. The idea of

organizing this webinar is to inculcate the basic fundamentals of

Robotics in the students and provide them with a platform to work on,

in the near future.

The Division of Sultan Kudarat’s students and teachers are

very passionate about changing technologies and they grab it faster

than others. Through this training program students will be able to

think better, learn better and do better.

By the end of this workshop the students will become equipped

with enough knowledge to start with the designing and development

of their own projects and implement their raw ideas into reality.
III: OBJECTIVES:
The participants will be able to:
 understand logic using flowcharts;
 solve problems using blocky coding; and
 perform challenge using Vexcode VR.
