Minimum 5-6 Years experience working as a VMware/VDI Administrator.


Hands-on experience implementing, administrating and troubleshooting Servers

Job Description :

Design, Implement and Support VMware Infrastructure

1. Performs the system administration tasks of high complexity on VMWare environment

2. Installs, tests, tunes, maintains, designs and documents supporting systems, utility
programs, monitoring tools, etc.

3. Performs a variety of maintenance tasks associated with the support, modification, and
updating of the system software to include system software installations, upgrades, tests,
troubleshooting and fixes.

4. Creates and manages capacity and trending reports of system operations.

5. Provide system infrastructure engineering support for new projects & deployments
within the Enterprise Campus(s). Engagement to support projects, including break-fix,
configuration, coordination, planning and implementation within the agreed timelines.

6. Ensure proper documentation of new infrastructure deployments and


decommissioning of old devices

7. Managing regular system administration & monitoring server infrastructure. Support


the 24x7 operation of infrastructures operation. Identify system performance issues and
oversee the development and correct use of tools to resolve these problems.

8. Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, configuration management


oversight and change management guidelines

9. Support the 24x7 operations and Data Centre connectivity within the desired SLA

10. Resolve Incidents and problems, work with Helpdesk, internal Field Services and
other infrastructure teams on incident resolution. Resolution and handling of
network/hardware/software incidents/problem with root cause analysis.

11. Interfacing with service partners and maintenance sources; quality control for
externally provided services. Coordination with vendor technicians.
