Three Basic Laws of Strength Training and Bodybuilding

Importance of Training and conditioning in Sports

By using sports-specific training, you can achieve your sporting
goals quickly and effectively. It may improve performance, reduce
the risk of injury, and lengthen competitive careers. It's critical that
training be varied and adapted to the needs of the individual or
team in order to succeed in your chosen sport.

Athletes who are properly conditioned can learn new movement

patterns, improve coordination, even out muscle imbalances,
increase mobility, improve posture, and stabilize joints. In addition
to assisting athletes in becoming ready for their sport,
conditioning is essential in preventing injuries. Athletes will reduce
their chance of injuries by strengthening their muscles, ligaments,
and tendons and increasing their level of flexibility when they
adhere to a rigorous conditioning program. A field hockey player
will run anywhere from 3 to 4 kilometers during a 70-minute match
and transition instantly from a slow jog to an all-out sprint.
6 Components to Training
1. Endurance:Endurance refers to your body's physical
capability to sustain an exercise for an extended period. It's
made up of two components: cardiovascular endurance and
muscular endurance. Training in this area helps to maintain
stamina during competitions.
2. Movement Economy; For all endurance athletes, being able
to move effectively and with good biomechanics is a crucial
skill that must be continually improved over the course of a
career. When running, cycling, or swimming, learning to
move smoothly and efficiently will enable us to expend more
energy on moving more quickly.
3. Strength/Power: This is the ability to overcome resistance in
the shortest period of time. It’s training includes
