The joint affidavit describes the arrest of Justin Abrazado for violations of the Revised Penal Code. Police officers Kyrie Irving and LeBron James conducted an entrapment operation based on a complaint filed by Al-amed y Khan regarding a breaking and entering and threats with a firearm. On April 4th, the officers and an informant waited outside Abrazado's house. When Abrazado exited at 5:00 pm, the officers identified themselves, read Abrazado his Miranda rights, and effected the arrest. JOINT AFFIDAVIT OF ARREST

We, the UNDERSIGNED Police Officers, both members of the Philippine


National Police, presently assigned at the Naga City Police Office, Police Station
1, Barlin St., Naga City, do hereby dispose and state THAT:

That, We among the members of the Philippine National Police, Police


Station 1, who conducted entrapment operations at P. Burgos St. located along
Magsaysay Avenue, Naga City, Philippines.

That, said operation stemmed from the complained of Al-amed y Khan


for the violation of Article 294 (5) in relation to Article 295, and Article 296 of the
Revised Penal Code, which was referred to our office by the Naga City Trial Court
against Justin Abrazado y Pontanal, of legal age, single, Filipino, and residing
at Zone 3, San Jose, Pili, Camarines Sur;

That, on the complaint dated on the 15 th of March, 2023, that on or about


1:00 am of February 27, 2023, while he was asleep, he was awakened by the
noise from the other room of his house. Upon checking it, he saw an unidentified
man wearing black mask, white t-shirt, green jersey shorts with number 9 at the
bottom left, and medium built forcefully ramming the wooden window trying to
escape from the room. While trying to alert the neighbors for help thru shouting,
the suspect threatens him with a gun by pointing at him. After that the suspect
escaped with a motorcycle towards to unknown direction.

That, Upon receipt of their said complaint, our office planned out an
entrapment operation against the suspect. At about 3:00 pm of the 4 th of April
2023, the undersigned policeman and with the informant proceeded to the said
location of the suspect located along the Barangay Dayangdang, Naga City to
conduct the arrest of the said suspect.

That, Upon arrival thereat, the informant waited for the suspect to come
outside of the house, while the undersigned policeman seated at the grocery
store near to the suspect’s house waiting for the sign of the informant in the
presence of the suspect. At about 5:00 pm, the suspect came outside of the
house proceeding with the sign of the informant, then we the undersigned
approached the suspect after issuing warrant of arrest and stating the Miranda
rights the we immediately effect arrest.
