Escape Room- One direction Reunion

Summary

INSPIRED by the thread under the late late show video, in the comments, suggesting that
this become a reality/fan fiction.

James Corden and Ben Winston come up with this brilliant idea. Niall, Louis, Liam, Harry
and Zayn are going to be surprise guests on the show, they have no idea that they're all on
the show together. Each one has to escape their own escape room to be able to get to
tunnels to take them to the main stage (just incase two finish at once, we don't want them to
be able to see each other). All escape rooms will be based off of late late show
skits/sketches. Aka, celebrity noses, carpool karoke, side effects may include, flinch and
like us on.

Notes

I've been wanting to do a reunion fic for the longest time, but I've never had proper
inspiration or idea until now, so thank you so much to this comment thread!! You've made
this possible!! The boys will perform, at the end of the show, one of their songs. And boom,
they are reunited.
 Planning the whole thing

Normal point of view:

At the late late show, after planning the escape room for Niall and Julia, as well as it working, the
entire crew is absolutely estatic because it was easy enough for the two people to pull off.

The next morning, at their daily planning, Ben Winston says "last night, we took a huge risk with
the escape room, but it worked and they were able to preform!!" Everyone claps. Ben Winston
says "the segmant has blown up on twitter and our youtube page, people still are very into escape
rooms. So maybe we could make it an offical segmant." James says "yes, but we can not do spill
your guts every single time." Ben Winston says "I do agree." James Corden says "look, look, I
know celebrity noses is a gag bit, but listen, just hear me out." Ben groans and says "James,
celebrity noses is such a hit because it's a gag, it's never going to happen." James Corden says "but
it'd be a perfect puzzle for an escape room!! Match the description of the celebrity to thier nose!!
Think about it, we already have all of the nose pictures done, we already have all of the
descriptions wirtten out for the noses, and it'd still be a gag, because it'd only unlock the second
room." Ben hums and says "okay, okay, you have a point James." James grins wide and says "yes!!
FInally, my celebrity noses is going to get the air time it deserves."

Ben shakes his head and says "okay, alright, let's focus now." James Corden says "no, I'm on a roll
with this escape room segmat idea. Are you writing this down, Ben?" Ben says "no, I am not."
James says "well take a seat and start writing!!! I'm just getting started on my ideas." Ben Winston
says "woah, woah, are you serious?" James says "I'm dead serious, write it down, let's go." Ben
gulps, sits down and starts writing. James says "another idea, would be carpool karooke puzzle.
Have four pictures from carpool karoke, and have a description of it, they have to match the right
picture to the desription." Ben says "now that's actually a very good idea." James says "thank you."
Ben gets someone to write all of the ideas down.

Ben says "okay, what about this idea. The take a break segmant, matching like the stuff from each
job position together." James says "okay, okay. Or or, flinch. We give them a bunch of fruits and
vegtables, then they have to figure out which ones we use for flinch. Obviously we get someone
who's never participated in flinch to do it, and someone we know who hasn't seen it, that way they
don't have any advangates or someone who hates vegtables." Ben laughs and says "oh that's
absolutely brilliant!!" James grins wide and says "thank you!!!" Ben says "I get it now, I get it.
What about the like us on segmant? They have to match the fake logo with the fake social media
site, based only on the description." James says "yes, yes!! Now you're getting the hang of this
Ben!!" Ben says "what about the reacts and have them match the person that did the reaction to
what they reacted to?" Jame says "no, no, it's got to be dumb and stupid. Better one would be side
effects may include, and we make a descritption, of the side effects, and they have to match it to
the right one." Ben hums and says "okay, like I'm confused, give an example." James grins and
says "okay, okay, one direction reunion. Side effects may include, the internet breaking,
screaming, crying, world wide black out, mayhem, chaos, confusion. Then, we have with it, an
appocolypse, we do screaming, crying, world wide black out, mayhem, chaos, confusion and end
of the world as we know it." Ben gasps and says "oh that's brilliant!! You know what would be
hilarious? Having Niall do that, by himself, since he's already done it once with Julia." James gasps
and says "yes!! That's a brilliant idea Ben!!" Ben grins.

James says "we also need to get Louis Tomlinson on this show, his stans are pressed that we
haven't promoted his solo career at all yet." Ben says "okay, okay, we'll get Louis on as a speical
guest this month." James does a fist pump and says "we need to get Liam back on too." Ben says "I
agree, I agree." James says "also we need to get Zayn, on, this month, like his album was litterally
the biggest album last year, 27 songs, who does that?! Zayn, Zayn Malik, that's who." Ben says
"woah, woah, woah, James that'd be crazy, all five?" James gasps and says "yes!! All five members
of one direction, they will all have no idea that they're going to be on the same show together, and
then at the end, one direction is reunited. They end up at the stage, and sing a one direction song
together!!" Ben says "James!! You're insane!! We'd have to get permission from sony or whatever
label they're under!!" James says "well then get on it!! I'm a directioner and this is happening, I
want my reunion now, I've waited and been teased long enough!!! I am going to make my fellow
stan family happy. We'll put Louis Tomlinson in the flinch escape room, Niall in the carpool
karooke puzzle one, we'll put Harry in the celebrity noses escape room, Zayn in the side effects
may include room, oh and Liam will get the like us on room!!" Ben says "okay, okay, but you can't
be doing the clues for all five of them, because that'd be too hard, they could hear you and figure it
out." James says "true true, unless you communicate to some of them." Ben says "no, I think we'd
need five seperate people, five seperate communcation lines." James says "okay, okay. I think for
Tomlisnon, we have his personal assistant Oli or even his sister Charlotte." Ben says "oh that's
brillant, Oli would already be coming with him as his personal assistant." James says "exactly,
exactly. I personally want to have Niall." Ben says "oh no, no, I think Julia Micheals would be a
better fit for Niall, she's already done it with him once, we could just have her host it."

James says "alright, alright, fine. Then I want Styles." Ben says "wait, wasn't Styles on during one
of our celebrity noses bits?" James says "maybe, I don't remember, does it even matter?" Ben says
"yes, yes, it does. We'll have Styles in the like us on room, and we'll have Gemma or Anne Styles
host it." James says "alright, alright, fine. What room would I get then?" Ben says "you'd get the
side effects may include with Zayn, I don't exactly trust you to not blow the answers for celebrity
noses to Liam." James huffs, folds his arms and pouts. James says "this isn't fair, I don't like this at
all. Also, since Niall's done this before, he might find it fishy if it's not me hosting it." Ben hums
and says "actually that's a good point. We could get a member of the Jonas' to host it or even Nick
Grimshaw to host one of them." James gasps and says "or, or, Sia or even Timbaland, who worked
with Zayn, for singles for his album, to host it. Timbaland, we could say that he wouldn't fit in the
tunnel at the end." Ben says "what tunnel?" James says "obviously we'd have to have five tunnels
to get them all to the stage, like we can't just not have tunnels or something, otherwise they could
totally see eachother, espically if they all finish at once." Ben hums and says "true, that's a good
point. Let's figure out what label has the group."

They call Simon Cowell. Simon says "well, modest is no longer thier management, I'm also no
longer thier label. They chose UMG for the home of one direction, you'd have to contact UMG if
you want to use one of their songs for a skit." James says "okay, great, thanks Simon." Ben hangs
up quickly and they call UMG. They find one direction's label representative and tell them their
idea for a one direction ot5 reunion. The person thinks it's absolutely brilliant, but says "you'll have
to wait until April or May, Liam and Louis' solo albums have to come out first." They understand.

Louis' pov:

Louis solo album gets pushed up to end of March for release, Louis is thrilled that it's finally going
to happen. His new label explains that they want to jump on the hype from his fans, push out the
first signle, then push out the album since it's already done, have him promote the album a bit in
the states, then the UK. Louis is so excited, soon is now, soon is mid-end of March!! March 7th,
the single is released, and he does the rounds of press in the UK as well as the states. Louis' twitter
blows up about Liam's twitter annoucing March 29th as the date of something big. Louis is asked
to tweet out March 15th, so he does and the fandom goes nuts trending Lilo. James corden
mentions them both with side eye emojis and the words come on Late Late show? Please? Louis
responds We'll see James, don't believe your on the schedule at all, sorry mate!! James responds
with shocked emojis and the words how dare your team. Liam responds my team said maybe April
or June, with a winky face emoji. James responds squealing!! Can't wait!! *inner fan girl going
insane!! * Louis snorts. Louis team voted no, because James didn't promote any of his other songs,
besides the one with Steve, which was the first one, so why now? Seems he just wants to recover
his rep with Louis' fan base. Louis smirks, his new team is absolutely brilliant. Louis album comes
out, does really well, and he gets to do alot of radio talk shows to discuss his album. Louis team
black lists any one direction questions, because they want the focus on his music only, not one
direction. They also black listed all of the other boys solo music. Louis is actually relieved that
they did that, because they always ask him to choose a favorite, and it's really hard.

Liam's pov:

Liam starts the interviews for his album, right after Louis' gets release. Liam teases everyone,
basically saying that something big is happening for his solo career on the 29th. He gets asked
about Zayn's solo album. Liam admits it's his absolute favorite, out of all of the boys, followed by
Louis', but Liam's a bit biased since he wrote with both of them the most in the band. Liam then
finds out from his team that they're black listing any and all questions about the other boys as well
as one direction, because this is about him, and his solo album, not one direction or the other boys.
Liam grins and agrees. Liam finally gets to talk about his music, his process and his journey with
the album. Liam explains why he relased the EP first and pushed back the actual album, he didn't
want the foucs of the album to be all about those songs as well as that time of his life. They
understand completely. His album drops on the 29th and does really well. For april fools day,
Harry tweets out I'm releasing my second album today!! And it's a collab with Niall. Niall responds
what the fuck you talking about? We never wrote a fucking album mate, stop trolling!! Harry
tweets out heehe!! APRIL FOOLS!! Niall responds blocked!!! Harry tweets out the evidince that
he's blocked. Harry tweets I thought it was funny, wasn't it? Everyone tells him that it wasn't funny
at all, he gave them all heart failure that 2/4ths of the band were going to get back together. Harry
appologizes, he didn't mean to upset anyone, was just messing around for april fools. Louis tweets
out I'm going on James Corden to do car pool karoke, tagging James. James responds oh my god,
oh my god!! YES, YES!! THE LEGEND IS GIVING US ALL WHAT WE DESERVE!! Louis
responds got ya, april fools!! James responds blockeed!!!! HOW DAre you break my heart like
that?!! Louis tweets out he didn't block me, the lies he's willing to tell. James responds you exposed
my april fools!!! You were supposed to respond no, don't!! Then I was going to respond april
fools!!! UGH!! You're frustrating. Louis responds you're frustrating!! I like to troll and expose!!!
#Tomothetease. It trends within minutes. Liam is banned from tweeting for a few weeks, after that.
Liam hates being banned from twitter and messages Louis to complain. Louis responds HA!! MY
team said that I'm still allowed to tweet, just stop doing tweets to all of you, and other big people,
so that I stop causing one direction reunion rummors to fly. Apparently Niall's been banned too,
same with Harold according to Niall. Liam responds the reunion isn't going to happen until 2020,
we both have to go on tour first, duh!! Louis responds I KNOW!! I can't fucking wait to tour this
album, I'm still working on it, really want to tour the UK, at least, ya know? Liam responds me too,
mate, me too.

James' pov:

They forget about their reunion plans, for a few weeks, until april third, when we want one
direction reunion trends. Louis likes a lot of tweets about his solo album, and people loving it and
tweets links to all of his music videos, clearly ignoring the trend. James tweets all five members to
blow it up. Louis blocks him instantly. James gasps, and uses twitter logged out. Louis tweeted I've
worked hard for this solo album, I've waited for a very long time to release it, thank you all so
much for your support ! You're legends !! Louis tweets out FYI, I blocked James Corden, he's too
into click baiting you all, he doesn't care one bit about my solo career. James squeals, contacts
Louis team and begs to get Louis on for carpool Karoke. They disagree instantly. James contacts
UMG, to force a tomlinson colaberation with the late late show. They can't, but promise to try to
smooth things over with Louis team, he just needs to stop tweeting about one direction!! Ben
Winston takes his twitter, changes the password and says "you're banned from tweeting until after
we reuinte one direction. UMG is threatening to pull out of the idea completely, threatening to sue
us publically, for trying to illegally go behind thier backs to reuinite the band. The hype is too high,
it needs to completely die down." James is so disappointed, the only one allowed to tweet is Zayn,
who absolutely hates twitter anyway. James continues to do the show. James gets to do another
celebrity noses bit and it frustrates him to no end, because his desk is now malfunctioning, plus the
chiar, plus the coffee table keeps moving on it's own, and even the couch moves up in the air!!
James completely freaks out and says "it's haunted!! Our studio is haunted!! Oh my god, oh my
god!!! There's a ghost moving our couch!!!" Ben says "James, James, the studio isn't haunted."

James says "yes it is!! You don't understand!! Only a ghost could do that!!" Ben says "James,
please, focus on the segment, the noses, we're running out of time!" James says "no!!! I refuse to sit
anywhere near the stage." Ben says "James, just sit on the steps then." James says "the steps?! The
steps?! Are you insane?!! What if the ghost just lifts up that whole area?! No, absolutely not, I
refuse." Ben says "James, please, come on, just get to the celebrity noses segmant." James says
"no, that coffee table is looking like it's going to move." Ben says "no it's not." James says "alright
then, ghost, please stop moving the furniture for thirty seconds." The ghost clearly listens. James
sits down and says "okay, where were we. Oh yes, I smell a good time, you smell a good time, it's
time for celebrity noses!!" Regi does the theme song again. James says "now, all celebrities have
noses, but some noses are more recognizable then otehrs. For example, this is the nose of a
famous." The coffee cup on the table starts to move upwards by the handle. James screeches. Ben
winston says "James, we have ten seconds left, focus please!" James screeches because it comes
back down. James says "no, go to commerical, go to commerical!! I'm done, we're not doing this,
the ghosts of the studio have clearly spoken, they don't like this segmant, it's over, it's done. Just
forget it!!" James folds his arms and slams the cards down on the desk. The table moves again.
James screams as they go to commerical break. Ben says over the loud speaker "okay, un rigg the
furniture, James, that was absolutely brilliant, good job running with it." James says "oh I was
actually petrified, that was real reactions. Jesus christ, you're going to give me heart failure one of
these days with that bit!!"

Louis applauds the bit on twitter, saying it was comedy gold last night. James tweets him I was
petrified, genuinely petrified!! Louis responds with laughing face emojis and poor James, didn't
know you were so petrified. James tweets back yes!! I'm never, ever, never, ever doing celebrity
noses ever again. IT'S here by canceled, forever!! The next day, at thier daily meeting, James
refuses to give imput on the ideas for the week, nor make his own jokes for that day. James says
"the bit that we're doing is react, or side effects may include with the guest. No more escape room,
no more spill your guts, no more celebrity noses." Ben says "wait what?!" James says "you heard,
me I quit, being the joke of the show!!" Ben says "but you have to James." James says "fine, I'll
keep doing it. Which one is tonight?" Ben grins and says "spill your guts or fill your guts." James
smirks and says "excellent." Simon Cowell is the guest that evening. Simon says "I'm nervous for
what bit you have planned for me James." James says "Ben's incharge of the bit, you'll have to talk
to him." Simon speaks to Ben, Ben informs him that it's spill or fill your guts. Simon absolutely
refuses, he's a label exectuitve, he's got lots of screts that he can't reveal, so that's completely unfair.
Ben instantly agrees. James smirks and says "what about an escape room?" Ben says "we haven't
planned an escape room James!! We don't have enough time." SImon says "oh, that actually
sounds like a lot of fun!!" They quickly plan an escape room for Simon as well as David Walliams,
their other guest. They decided to to the exact same escape room, but have David stay in the room,
to wait until Simon opens the door for him. They struggle with the escape room, alot and James
gives them more hints than he had to give to Niall as well as Julia. The whole audience is cracking
up. They end up running out of time completely. A worker has to let them out of the last room
using the code. SImon and David are relieved, then follow her to the stage. James says "that was
bad, like really bad." Simon says "It was hard!!" James says "Niall Horan and Julia Michaels did
the exact same rooms, exact same puzzles. They beat the time." David Walliams looks stunned and
says "well they're young!! They probably do escape rooms all of the time." Simon agrees, he
doesn't do escape rooms, ever. Twitter goes insane the next morning, over them failing the escape
room.

Louis' pov:

Louis finds out from his team, that James Corden's producer Ben Winston, wants him on the show,
to completely surprise James, as a surprise guest. Louis is totally in. They're even working on
trying to get him in for carpool karoke or escape room bit mixed with a performance. Louis
watches the escape room bit that Niall did with Julia, and texts Niall hope you're okay after James'
escape room. Niall texts him back I'm fine, thanks for asking, but I'll never do an escape room
again, on live television, unless someone I trust like Bressie is on the other end, or in there with
me. Louis responds I'd want Charoltte with me or guding me and Oli. Niall responds Oli with you,
be hillarious. Louis responds yeah, we'd be too dumb, have to try an actual escape room with him
first. Niall recommends the one in LA that he went to. Louis grins and gets Oli, Eleanor plus a few
others to go to the escape room with him. Oli completely freaks out and isn't helpful at all, nor is
Eleanor. Louis and his other mates get all of them out of the room on time. Louis says "El and Oli,
remind me never to do an escape room with either of you again." The rest of his freinds agree.

James' pov:

April moves slowly, like beyond slowly, even with their break for easter, it's not moving fast
enough. James wants May to hurry up, so that he can hopefully get his one direction back. Ben
informs all of them on the first week of may that thier plans to reunite one direction have fallen
through, UMG had a meeting with each of them individually, none are ready yet. James is
absolutely devestated. James tweets out I tried, I tried so hard, but I've failed you all. I'm sorry.
People ask what he's talking about. Louis' stans forgive him, they know he's been trying to get
Louis on the show for months since before the album even came out. Louis responds chin up mate,
maybe it'll happen when you least expect it, with a winky face emoji. Everyone freaks out. Louis
responds to tweets saying that he's not going to be on the late show, as far as he's aware, he'd know
at least a month in advance. Louis then tweets out an upside down smile face before clearlying
getting off of twitter.

Ben's pov:

Ben works secretly with UMG, and all five boys teams, to plan the escape rooms without anyone
from the show knowing, because it's going to be alot easeir to keep this underwraps if no one
knows besides him. Ben says "for Niall and Julia, we gave them up to the performance time to do
it." They all understand. The label executive says "okay, what about teams of two people? And five
different escpae rooms." Ben hums and says "maybe, maybe. We used fox in box LA to design the
last one. Can I involve them, without telling them who it's for?" They all agreee. Ben says "James
really had all of the escape room ideas, so I think he should pitch them to fox in the box as well as
all of you indivdiually." They agree quickly, that James could totally pitch the ideas to all of them
and maybe they could all shut it down to him, when really they're in agreement.

James' pov:

Ben approcahes him on Wednesday and says "hey James?' James says "yeah, Ben?" Ben says "fox
in the box is here, I thought we could all pitch your escape room ideas to them today." James is
stunned and says "did they agree?" Ben says "the teams for all five said they're willing to hear the
pitches, they want to know from fox in the box how diffucult the escape rooms would be." James
grins and says "okay, great!!" They all meet with fox in the box in thier conference room. James
says "so my first escape room idea is based on our segmant flinch. I thought we could have them
match the names of the fruits or vegtables to a description." They agree quickly. The one says
"what kind of fruits or vegtables have you used?" Ben says "oranges, avacodoes, apples, lemons,
tomatoes, banannas." They discuss description ideas. James plays the clip of Louis Tomlinson
insulting avacodes on toast. They think that's a briliant quote to use for it. Ben plays Harry saying
tamotoes, and them doing their whole lets call the whole thing off. They will figure out good
descriptions later, if needed. James says "okay, another idea is carpool karoke themed escape
room, like match a picture to a descrption or something." They agree quickly, the buttons were
very easy to do. James says "another idea is side effects may include themed room. We've already
started to think of the ideas and thier descriptions." They want to hear them.

James says "one direction reunion, side effects may include screaming, crying, world wide black
out, mayhem, chaos, confusion, and the internet breaking. An appocolypse, side effects may
include screaming, crying, world wide black out, mayhem, chaos, confusion and end of the world
as we know it." They think that's brilliant, there's a suttble difference. Ben winston says "I have
another one. side effects of joining one direction." James says "no, no, me rapping could be used
for the carpool karoke one." The one person from fox in the box says "okay, maybe the carpool
karoke can be specifically one direction themed, like the songs that they performed or stuff like
that." James says "I did an epic rap during drag me down." They will totally use that. Ben winston
says "you got one direction in all matching outfits and doing a choreographed dance routine to no
control." James says "I did, they were all wearing denim." Ben says "oh, their fans are still upset
about us not releasing the mcdonalds footage." The person from fox in the box says "okay so
songs, drag me down rap, no control with denim jackets and mcdonalds for food." James says
"another idea was celebrity noses, match the celebrities nose to the description. Then the last one
was like us on, match the fake social media description to the fake icon."

They believe they could totally make the rooms happen. Ben says "okay great, we'll stay in contact
with when we'd do this, any style of matching or answers." They understand and agree. They part
ways, and the fox in the box agree to start planning, then present them with the ideas this week.
Ben and James discuss the idea of dividing the hallway. They discuss the thought of tunnels,
movable wall dividers and also mats.
 Getting everyone on board
Chapter Notes

I typed this up twice, started a third time, before finally figuring out that it was saved, I
thought it wasn't. Oh well. Moving onto the actual escape rooms next. Probably
spelled a few names wrong, will get it correct for their chapter/appearance.

Louis' pov:

James Corden and Ben Winston pitch their idea to him about doing an escape room with him, that's
based off of skits from their show. Louis says "no, absolutely not, I already did an escape room,
this weekend, with Oli and my mates, with Eleanor and it went horribly. Oli sucks at them." James
says "but!" Louis says "I want to do carpool karaoke, and you can choose whatever segment you
want. Can even poke fun at how much time it's taken me to put out my solo album." James says
"wow, you really don't want to do the escape room?" Louis says "no, absolutely not." Ben agrees to
Louis' terms instantly. Louis says "excellent, what day?" Ben says "how about May 8th?" Louis
says "okay, great, see you in a week!!" Louis hangs up. Louis speaks to his team, they're glad he
shut down the escape room idea to James, but the escape room is already happening, Ben's already
been planning it. Louis is pissed, speaks to Ben alone and says "am I going to be able to pretty
much do it alone?" Ben says "yes, you'd be able to do the escape room easily. Also, you're our
secret guest, and it's going to be on May 10th." Louis says "okay, done." Louis hangs up.

Niall's pov:

Niall gets invited to James Corden's show as a special surprise guest, for James on the 10th of May.
Niall says "doing what?" Ben says "doing another escape room." Niall says "I want Niall Bressian
with me." Ben says "okay, deal. We're fooling James into thinking it's a celebrity noses segment,
when it's really an escape room segment." Niall gasps and says "oh my god, that's a great gag for
celebrity noses. One problem, I don't think I could do a crawl space again, my knees aren't the
best." Ben says "it won't be a crawl space, our staff will be setting up the dividers to separate the
different rooms." Niall says "oh wow." Ben says "we're not exactly sure how many rooms yet, but
it's going to be multiple different show themes." Niall says "got it, okay, thank you." Niall hangs
up.

Ben's pov:

They finally get together with fox in a box again, their plan is locked rooms and only two again,
using all three themes. Ben says "I think we're going to go with our own idea, of a walk through
escape room, with cue cards for clues, because we have a celebrity that's claustrophobic and we
don't want to cause a panic attack by locking them into two small rooms." They understand
completely. Ben says "thank you so much though, for designing all of these. I'm so sorry, we
weren't sure what celebrity guest for this month was going to agree to it, and we really don't want
to have a panic attack issue." They understand. Ben shakes hands with all of them as they leave.
Ben speaks to their planning team and props department. They are giddy to design their own
escape room, that isn't locked at all. Ben has them come up with ideas for the carpool karaoke
idea, using one direction's carpool karaoke video. They agree instantly. Ben says "we need ideas
for the like us on idea, fake icons and fake names with fake descriptions. We need ideas for the
flinch theme, descriptions, video clips from the show, and pictures of the fruits, possibly even have
the fruits in the room with fake out ones with the launcher and the wall thing, that way they can
test it if they'd like." They think that's a good idea. Ben says "we need descriptions and the names
for the side effects may include theme. Oh and we need to choose the noses as well as write out or
have James record their descriptions."

Ben calls Harry and Harry's team. Harry says "hey Benny!! What's up?" Ben says "hello Harry! I
want to have you on as a special guest, on May 10th, no one is going to know that you'll be here."
Harry gasps and says "I can't even tweet?!" Ben says "nope!!! Otherwise it could get to James, it's
supposed to be a complete surprise." Harry says "well I don't like that idea, besides, haven't you
tortured him enough?" Ben says "you saw the celebrity noses bit?" Harry says "yes I did, it was
cruel." Ben says "well I'm trying to make it up to him now, we're going to make him think it's
celebrity noses, when it'll really be escape room." Harry gasps and says "oh, wow." Ben says
"you'll be allowed to do it with a partner, anyone of your choice." Harry says "I'd vote Gemma, she
loves escape rooms." Ben says "okay great, are you in?" Harry says "I'm in, we're down for it."
Ben says "okay great, thanks Harry, see you on the tenth." Harry says "wait, I want to see James
before then." Ben says "how about Friday? May 3rd?" Harry says "okay, good, what's the bit?"
Ben says "maybe take a break and you could sit in on one of our brain storming sessions." Harry
says "aw, that's mean. Maybe I could just pop in and visit him, without it being for the show." Ben
says "okay, that's fine, whenever you want." Harry choses the 3rd, during the day. Ben thanks him
and hangs up quickly. Ben silently starts to cheer, he's got 3/5ths in. All that's left is Zayn and
Liam.

Ben grins and then calls Zayn's team. They connect him to Zayn. Ben says "Zayn?" Zayn says
"Ben, hey mate! What's up?" Ben says "so um, last week, we took the celebrity noses gag a little
too far, genuinely scared the crap out of James, and he's really been wanting you on the show.
Since as he put it, you had literally the biggest album of the year, twenty seven songs." Zayn
laughs and says "aw, you shut that idea down, didn't you?" Ben says "I just didn't think we could
get you to agree, considering all of our skits and stuff have been done by other members." Zayn
says "maybe I could surprise him for carpool Karaoke." Ben gasps and says "oh, that would
actually be brilliant. Maybe we could do that on May 6th?" Zayn says "sure, yeah, that'd be great.
What was your idea?" Ben says "well, we could do both. On May tenth, we have a special guest
opening, it's going to be a complete surprise, James will have no idea you're going to be there.
James will think it's a celebrity noses bit, when in reality, it's an escape room." Zayn says "oh
mate, I saw Niall go through that, would the doors be locked?" Ben says "no, we've decided, the
props and writing department, after speaking to fox in the box, the escape room place near here,
we didn't really like their idea, so we're just going to do our own." Zayn says "oh, okay, wow." Ben
says "I will fill you in on the details that day. You'll have a partner to do the escape room with you,
is there anyone specific that you'd like?" Zayn says "can I choose one of my sisters?" Ben says
"sure, that's absolutely fine." Zayn says "okay, I'll just fly her here and bring her that day." Ben
says "excellent, thank you. Can't wait to see you." Zayn says "you too, thanks for thinking of me to
surprise James." Zayn's team says "we don't agree with the carpool karaoke bit, that'd open Zayn
up to being requested to appear to perform on too many other shows. Which could lead his fans to
think there'd be a tour, when there won't be." Zayn says "that's actually true." Ben says "okay, no
worries. I wasn't even sure how we'd squeeze that in next week anyways." Zayn says "thanks Ben."
Ben says "you're welcome, bye Zayn." Zayn says "alright, bye." Zayn hangs up.

Ben lastly calls Liam with his team on the line. Liam says "hello?" His team person says "hey
Liam, we're on the phone with Ben Winston." Liam says "hey guys, Hey Ben!!" Ben says "hi
Liam!!" Liam says "how are you, mate?" Ben says "good, how are you?" Liam says "good, what's
up?" Ben says "I want to have you on as a special guest next week, to surprise James, to do an
escape room bit, but James will think it's a celebrity noses bit." Liam says "oh that's brilliant." Ben
says "you can't tweet about it though, he has your twitter notifications on, like he'd know right
away and it'd ruin the surprise." Liam understands. His team asks what day. Ben says "May tenth."
They agree quickly, so does Liam. Liam thanks him for keeping it as a special guest, not using his
name to get people to watch the episode. Ben says "no problem."

Louis' pov:

On May 8th, Louis goes to the late late show studio to do carpool karaoke with James. James greets
him and they go outside to film the bit. Louis gets in at his cue and says "hello James!!" James says
"hey Louie! How are you mate?" Louis says "alright, how are you mate?" James grins and says
"wonderful, thanks so much for helping me get to work today." Louis says "oh it's no problem at
all, should we listen to some tunes?" James agrees instantly. They sing miss you, just like you, just
hold on and a couple others off of the album. They talk in between, about the album process, the
inspiration and why it took so long between the first single until the album release date. Louis is
vague with what everything is about, explains the process for him and why it took so long. Back at
the studio, they are done and Louis returns home to his house.

James' pov:

At the morning meeting on the ninth, they discuss how the planning for the escape room segment
is going, plus the building of the five different rooms, they're doing clue based since they couldn't
come to an agreement with fox in the box LA. The props department runs through all of the
different themes, the clues and the correct answers. James is absolutely impressed by what they've
done to his ideas for the rooms. James thanks them very much for brining his ideas to life. James
jokes that now all they need is celebrities to do it. Ben laughs and says "I'm working on it, asking
everyone that's going to come on if they want to do it." James isn't surprised that no one wants to
do it.

Ben's pov:

Ben meets with the set up crew on the morning of the tenth and says "I've got a special guest, agree
to do the escape room. So we're going to get it set up today." They're all shocked. Ben gets the
props department and they set it up in five of their prop dressing rooms. Ben thanks them all. The
fake dividing moving walls, the half tunnels and the mats that Velcro together, that they're going to
turn into a makeshift walls with the half tunnels, arrive. Ben thanks everyone profusely and then
dismisses them to the daily meeting. Ben goes over the show plan for the day, the special guest
line up and then says "so the segment for today is going to be celebrity noses." James glares and
says "no, absolutely not." Ben says "no gimmicks this time, I promise, this time it's celebrity noses,
for real." James gasps, grins and says "thank god!! Finally this is going to be the greatest segment
of all time!! It's seriously going to be the best late late night bit ever in the history of late night
television shows!!" James leaves to practice the bit in his office with the noses and his cue cards.
Ben dismisses everyone and rehearsals go off without a hitch. Ben secretly greets each member of
one direction as well as their partner that they brought, plus their teams. Ben's secret helpers arrive,
one at a time. Charlotte is excited to shock Louis by running his escape room. Anne is so excited to
shock Harry and Gemma, Timbaland is excited to shock Zayn and his sister. Liam's sister Ruth, is
excited to shock him and Nicola, since Liam didn't choose her. Moren Morris is excited to shock
the two Niall boys since she didn't get picked. Ben greets the one direction band, as well as their
one direction team for UMG. They're so excited, and rehearsals that day went off without a
problem.

Ben meets with the band, the production, camera crew, set up and every other area of the show
without James about three hours before they're going to start the show, to explain that it's actually
 an escape room bit. They're going to be shocking James with it. The escape room needs at least two
hours and a half. Half hour for each room. They're stunned that it's five rooms. They get ready to
go start filming right away. James is ready thanks to the make up crew doing it swiftly. James says
"we're starting really early." Ben says "I know, I know, we need to start early." The show gets into
their places. Ben explains to all five boys, individually, with their team mates, how the escape
room will go. Ben tells Louis, then Liam, then Niall, then Zayn, and then Harry. Harry's beyond
excited.

Chapter End Notes

Each team will have their own hint giver, through walkie-talkies. James will be on
stand by to answer calls from the rooms, incase anyone tries that route. James will
give the time updates for everyone, audience will be allowed to cheer, just not allowed
to root for a specific person. Would prefer silence. They will have monitors showing
the audience what's happening. Everyone will have microphones on, camera crew to
follow each one to the first room. Go pros set up in the "tunnels" and sections.

Louis' pov:

On the tenth, Oli and Charlotte are both at Louis house. Charlotte asks where they're going. Louis
says "just meetings for me, help yourself to any food you want." Charlotte grins and says "okay,
thanks." Louis and Oli leave, to head to the late late studio to surprise the crap out of James by
doing an escape room. Louis' team meets up with them and explains the whole thing. It's five
different rooms, set up completely by the late late show staffers, all based on late late show bits.
Oli is stunned and says "five different rooms?" They explain that it's only one puzzle thing per
room and that some puzzles are different than others, but each room will have directions, plus
they'll have someone giving them hints that isn't James. Louis says "like a real escape room?" His
manager says "exactly." Louis grins. Oli says "okay, as long as there's some one direction or Louis
stuff, I should be good." Louis cracks up and says "if not, we're fucked." Oli snickers and giggles.

So the late late show, usually starts filming around 4 in LA, which is 7 on the east cost, but Ben
walks into their room like at 1:15, to let them know what's going on. Gives them their end of the
walkie talkie to be able to speak to their hint person and they're given their microphones. Oli grins
and says "this is going to be absolutely brilliant." Louis says "bloody hell." Ben says "oi, tone
down on the swearing, going to give our bleeping crew a work for their money." Louis smirks and
says "good." Ben leaves their spot. A crew person brings in a camera crew to travel with them to
the escape room set up. She says "alright, so we literally just got the crash course on this like thirty
minutes ago, there's going to be specific directions on which way to go from your hint person, as
you're leaving the room. All five rooms are different late late show segment themed, you find out
the theme and the instructions in the room. You'll have two and a half hours to do all five." Louis
says "that's a bit excessive, isn't it?" She says "well, we don't want you to fail, and you said you
really didn't want to fail this, so we're giving you enough time to solve this on your own." Oli says
"what about the thrill of doing it in an hour?" She blushes hard and asks Ben if they can do it in an
hour. Ben says "look, when we did it with Niall and Julia, we had started the show about a half
hour earlier, to have enough time to film that as well as the actual show. The actual show that goes
to air, will probably only see a snippet in each room, when James checks in with you through the
actual program. Everything will be uploaded online, in half hour clips for each room. James is
already going to know somethings up, same with the audience." They stop complaining about the
time.
They stay in the room until the show tapping count down, then are taken to the escape room. The
woman says "don't start until we say so." Louis and Oli agree. After five minutes, Ben says "and
start!!" Louis grabs the instruction sheet and reads it to Oli. Louis says "welcome to late late
escape, you're in the room: Like us on. This room's theme is based on the show's segment, like us
on. Your goal is to find the social media site logos thought the room and match them to their
names. The description of the site is on each logo, if you get stumped or want a hint, ask the hint
giver. Good luck, and don't forget to Like us on____ which is typically used after making a very
British thing." Oli says "um fry up, um tea, um I don't know!!!" The audience cheers loudly. Louis
finds the tea station and finds the first card. It's a red circle with the letter B. Oli takes it and says
"this site is a non profit organization, often used for petitions. Our most popular petition is at
backslash let James Corden do celebrity noses already!!" Louis laughs hysterically and says "okay,
where's the next one?" Oli shrugs. Louis looks at it and asks the walkie talkie. Charlotte says "just
search." They ask where to search!!! Charlotte says "hint: it's inside of something." Louis grins,
thanks her and they look under the couch cousins. The second card is the word TEA in teal
lettering. Louis reads it "this site is used for spilling the tea, where people post their stories, of
meeting celebrities." Oli laughs. Louis continues "check around, something celebrities always have
done, where you'll find, the next place to like us on." Oli says "obviously the vanity, make up!!"
They rush to the vanity and check all of the drawers. Louis checks under the chair and finds the
card directly under the bottom. Louis picks it up and reads it "this is the last site you needed to
find, congratulations, you should now have four. This is our personal favorite, it's where you can
watch live videos, of Ben Winston turning down, brilliant ideas from James Corden." Oli says
"ouch, that's harsh." Louis says "we're missing one." Oli says "Lottie, please, give us a hint!" Lottie
says "I did!! Inside of something, you found the two that were under." Louis and Oli look inside
the boxes. Oli says "found it!!" Louis snatches the A and says "this is a site, where fan fictions are
born, mainly for, all about one direction. Your next card will be, in a place that you'd sit, where a
person might write, one of their greatest whit's." Louis says "fucking hell." Oli bursts out laughing
hysterically. They rush to the board and Velcro them. Louis says "wait, we have to put them in the
right order." Louis says "late late show dot tv is obviously the live one." Oli agrees and puts it in
the correct spot. Louis says "all.org is probably the fan fiction, since it's the letter A on the logo,
then BW.org is obviously the petition one." Louis sticks them in their correct spots. Oli says
"you're good at this mate." Louis grins and says "thanks." Oli sticks the last one on the correct spot.
Louis says "done!!" Charlotte says "great job, you've solved the like us on mystery, now please
exit the room, very carefully, exit all of the rooms you enter today to your left, please watch your
head, as you move ahead." Oli says "what the fuck is it with all of these rhymes?" Louis giggles
quietly.

Louis is absolutely thrilled with this escape room, it's so much easier than he thought it would be.
Louis opens the door. There's two ways out, but Louis figures out that they have to go the tunnel
way, so he leads the way to the next room. There's a massive wall in their way. Charlotte whispers
"hold on, I'm not there yet, chill out." Louis giggles. Louis notices the camera in the tunnel and
waves. Louis hears the door open and feet running, before it shuts again. The thing is slid over and
they're able to go into the fucking room finally. Louis glares at the camera person. He snickers.
Louis shakes his head and whispers "they just wanted a fucking camera there, to show me bum
getting out of the tunnel." Oli giggles. The room is much more messy, like a prop room. Louis says
"no, fuck no, this is going to be hard mate." Louis points to the four yellow circles on the table. Oli
finds the directions and says "hello dear adventurer, and welcome to late late escapes, we hope
your enjoying this five part escape." Louis snorts and says "fucking hell, we're never going to
finish." Oli agrees. The audience laughs. James says loudly "Thank you!! That was my own
joke!!!" Louis shakes his head. Oli says "this room is called, carpool karaoke. Your first job is to
find, the four picture frames, they're all together and have your first clue with them." Louis finds
four empty picture frames and there's no clue. Oli finds a package that's big enough to be picture
frames with a late late escape card on the outside. Oli says "it's like something you would've
wrapped mate." Louis says "lot better than I would've wrapped." Oli laughs. Oli reads the card
"your first clue, is this, it's very simple, just find something you'd read." Louis says "a book?"
They search the room and Louis finds the book. It's got the word story on it. There's a cue card
inside as a book mark. Oli reads the cue card "you've found your second clue, good job, you're off
to a fantastic start, find something that an R and B artist, would often wear." Louis says "oh, god,
Payno, a chain." Oli cracks up hysterically. Louis finds a bedded necklace. Oli finds chains linked
together, his has a cue card, so that's obviously the right one.

Louis feels it and reads the card "you've found the plastic chains, get it? Probably not, besides
you're probably tired of the rhymes, your next clue is, something you'd wear, on a cold, windy
day." Oli says "a jacket!!" There's a fleece jacket in the room. Oli checks all of the pockets. Louis
finds a rain jacket hanging up. That's all of the jackets. Louis says "Lotts, where's a jacket?" Lottie
says "I'm only allowed to give you a hit, I can't tell you, exactly where it's at, but I can say, to check
in a box." They pull down all of the prop boxes to rummage through. Oli says "oh! A denim
jacket!!" Louis snatches it and finds the last clue inside the pocket. Louis says "your last clue, just
kidding, you're still missing an object. Find something hand held, to look at yourself." Oli says "a
mirror!!" Oli finds a hand held mirror in one of the containers. The mirror has a card taped to the
front with the words late late escape. Oli says "good job, mate, now open the package and make
your matches." Oli opens the package of picture frames. Louis notices the card on the back of the
mirror. Louis grabs it and says "ah, you smart alec, you caught us in our plot, just remember, it's
not about the way you look, it's about what's on the inside that counts, because that is what makes
you beautiful." Louis says "oh come on, really?! I can't escape the fucking one direction
references." Oli snickers. Oli puts on the jacket and does the no control dance. Louis realizes
instantly what it is. It's all from their one direction carpool karaoke. Louis finds the papers of the
songs, and grabs the empty picture frames. Louis matches the mirror to what makes you beautiful,
the chain to drag me down, the jacket to no control and the book to story of my life. There's another
card with more riddles. Louis reads the card "by now, hopefully you've figured out, which car pool
karaoke, this whole room is about, if not, maybe this will help. James Corden sang, a wonderful
rap, and it was an original, that he came up with in a snap." Charlotte says "you're done, you're
right, that was just incase you didn't see the one on the back of the mirror." They both sigh in relief
and exit the room, to their left. There's a huge ass matt attached to a rolling wall, preventing them
from getting to the next room. Charlotte says "ready." They finally open it, to let them in.

This one looks difficult, it's the late show launcher for flinch. Louis whispers "fuck." Oli giggles.
Oli grabs the card and says "hello there, welcome to late late escapes, this room is definitely hard,
probably thee hardest one to solve. All of your hints, are on a recording device, you can play it, as
much as you'd like. The goal of this room, is to weed out the fruit, because some of these, simply
just will not work. Ask for a clue, if you can't figure it out. Remember, time is running out." Louis
snorts and says "no shit." They quickly play the recordings. The first one, Louis recognizes as his
own voice, complaining about something. Louis says "avocadoes, was complaining to Liam,
during goggle box." Oli laughs and says "oh man." Oli finds the word Avocadoes and the attached
picture. Oli sticks it to the Velcro on the wall. Louis plays the next recording. It's Harry Styles
saying let's call the whole thing off! Louis says "I don't get it." Oli says "clue please?" Charlotte
says "clue: it's something often used in sauces." Oli says "ooh!! Peppers." Oli grabs the big green
pepper. Louis says "no mate, that's not going to fit in that tiny whole." Oli tries it anyway. Louis
grabs a tomatoes and smashes it on the thing. Oli squeals. Louis smirks and finds the word tomato
as well as the picture. Louis puts that on the wall. Oli plays the next hint. It's James saying "oh
that'll really make a splash!!" Louis says "eggplant." Oli throws it against the thing. Oli says "too
rough." Louis says "limes!!" Louis puts lime on the wall. Oli gasps and says "oh, lemons." Louis
puts the lemon up. Charlotte says "incorrect." Oli gasps and says "oi!" Louis plays the last
recording. The girl says "when life gives you this fruit, throw it back and say I just want to meet
one direction." Louis says "haha, very funny." Louis rolls his eyes and shakes his head. Oli giggles
hysterically and says "okay, so limes is clearly wrong." Louis plays the third recording again.
Louis throws the lime against the thing and it doesn't smash. Louis tosses the orange at it. Oli says
"oh, that's it!!" Oli puts orange up. Lottie says "correct, you may move on." They're relieved and
aren't stopped at all. They go through the tunnel and into the room.

Oli grabs the card and says "oh, one more thing, before you go, you must find the microphone, to
be able to surprise James." Louis says "obviously that's the last thing mate." Louis rolls his eyes
and says "truly." Louis shakes his head, grabs the directions and says "hello gov'na, sorry, trying
my best to be British, I guess that's a side effect of working with two British men. See what I did
there? I made my own joke, get it? Probably not, well this is the room, called side effects may
include. Your job is to find the side effects list, but first, you need the name of the problem. Your
first hint is, look under your feet, just kidding, there's nothing there, but you're going to have to go,
low to the floor, to find this card." Oli gets down on the floor and finds it under the table. Oli says
"got it." Louis laughs. Oli reads "oh you've found a side effects card, don't fret, you were supposed
to if you came from hint number one, hang it up and grab key number four." Louis says "wait, let's
read the side effects first." Oli says "why?" Louis says "so that we can see what we're working
with. Duh." Oli grabs key number four and goes to the boxes. All of the boxes are labeled different
numbers. Oli tries box number four. Louis reads "the side effects may including crying, screaming,
world wide black out, mayhem, chaos, confusion and internet breaking." Oli says "found the box!!
It was box number eight." Louis says "oh, okay." Oli says "oh!! YEs!! Apocalypse!!! Those side
effects are for an apocalypse!!"

Louis says "no, no, no, this is not my room." Oli giggles and says "great, this is totally mine then."
Louis snorts and says "leave it to our generation though, I mean if there really was an apocalypse,
how much you bet we'd be tweeting instead of trying to make it out alive?" Oli snorts and says "I'm
not taking that bet, I'm prepared for an apocalypse." Louis opens box number one with the key too.
Louis says "opened two boxes." Louis smirks. The card says "oh you smarty pants, you got us
good, this is your second clue. This card is hidden in plain view, but careful, there might be two."
Oli says "maybe the microphone is one." Louis finds the second one in a megaphone and it says
"congratulations, you've found problem number three, the obvious key, is key number three." Louis
turns it around and says "waiting two years to release an album." Oli bursts out laughing
hysterically. Louis says "fuck you, I'm a perfectionist." Lottie says "hurry up, you're running low
on time, you've still got one more whole room." Louis says "that's it, grab the keys and just open
the fucking boxes, each key opens two boxes, we've already opened one and eight." They grab the
keys and open the boxes quickly. All of the cards are found in the eight boxes. The one card says
"oh you were sly! Good job, thinking of just opening the boxes, PS, this is the same answer that
was attached to clue number one." Louis scrunches up his nose. The last one says "having a few
good pitches." Oli says "okay, so we've got apocalypse, one direction reunion, waiting two years to
release an album, and having a few good pitches." Louis reads "crying, screaming, lots of memes,
and the word soon isn't soon, because soon equals now." Louis shakes his head and says "my solo
album, it's me." Oli cracks up laughing. Louis puts them right under each other on the first spots.
Louis reads the side effects "thinking all of your ideas a brilliant, sharing your ideas with everyone,
wanting to tweet your ideas, and then realizing your idea, will never come true." Louis says "that's
sad." Louis matches it to having a few good pitches. Oli says "oh great, so you left the hardest two
for last." Louis says "what do you mean?" Oli says "side effects may include crying, screaming,
world wide black out, mayhem, chaos, confusion and the world ending as we know it." Louis says
"obviously both could apply to the one direction reunion, just do the internet one for one direction
first." Oli does and Charlotte says "correct, you may move on."

They pick up the microphone card again. Louis says "it says hint: you'll need some numbers. This
is your clue, Niall do the shimmy." Oli giggles and says "Niall do the shimmy, Zayn that p word
and Louis do the splits and Liam you stay exactly where you are because you are perfect." Louis
 says "Leroy, five six seven eight." Louis enters the code on the safe box. It opens quickly and
Louis pulls out the microphone. Louis says "yes, let's go now." Louis leaves the microphone there.
Charlotte says "go back." Louis groans, turns around and a crew person is waiting with the
microphone at the beginning of the spot. She smiles. Louis smiles back fakely and they move onto
the last room finally. Inside, once the door is shut, Oli picks up the directions and says "ah dear
friend, something that you're truly going to love, this room is called, celebrity noses." Louis says
"oh fucking hell." Oli says "now, I know what you're thinking, this segment has to be a gag, well I
can assure you that it's not, we really had those problems, now it's up to you, to match the celebrity
noses to their description. Oh and one more thing, the noses are already on the wall, all you have to
do, is Velcro the right name based on the description." Charlotte plays the first recording for them.
James says "now this nose is from a famous man, from a very famous point in his career, as you
can see, there's this one strand of hair, right here." Oli says "Zayn." Louis says "what?" Oli says
"the piece of hair that everyone went nuts over." Oli rolls his eyes, and says "we just have to move
the names to the right nose." Louis holds all of the names. Louis says "Harry, and Niall? Oh jesus."
Oli laughs, giggles and snickers. Louis says "Clifford? What?" Charlotte plays the last three
recordings. The one says "this famous boybander, is often know, for squirting water out of his
mouth." Louis says "Harry." Louis knows which one is Harry's nose. The third one says "this
famous dog, isn't famous from a show, but famous because of who he knows, his owner is none
other than Louis Tomlinson." Louis grins, realizes the black nose is his dog and puts Clifford's

and it's one tunnel out of the room. Louis says "shit."

This is the escape room from Harry's point of view with Gemma, all five boys will

Harry's pov:

On May 9th, Anne and Gemma arrive to Harry's home together. Anne just wants to be able to
watch them at the studio, with James afterwards. Harry is just glad to see his mother, and he
doesn't mind that she surprised him. Gemma says "I was allowed to tell mum about the escape
room, right?" Harry says "yeah, just can't say anything on twitter, or James will see it, since he
follows all of us." Gemma says "that's true. So what does it entail?" Harry says "I thought we
could watch the one that Niall and Julia did, so that we can get an idea of what to expect."
Gemma agrees. They watch the escape room that Niall did, it's pretty intense. Harry watches
Louis' carpool karaoke with James. Louis is grinning and so happy looking. Gemma says "you
can really tell how short he is in the front seat." Harry squeals and says "stop insulting his height,
he's not that short." Gemma snorts and says "he's small." Harry says "he's not small!!" Anne
says "Gemma, stop insulting Louie's height." Gemma cuts it out. Harry smirks. Gemma says
"what will you be doing tomorrow, mum?" Anne says "honestly, I'm not sure. I am planning on
going with you both, that way I can see the studio. Plus, I'm hoping they show the escape room to
all of us." Gemma says "I'd hope so, but since it is a complete surprise for James, they may not."
Anne says "true."

On the morning of the tenth, they get ready to go to the studio. Gemma does Harry's makeup, so
that he doesn't look too weird on camera. Harry thanks her. They go to the studio with Anne.
Harry's team is there waiting, and they're all grinning. His team quickly explains to them that it is
indeed five rooms, none of them are locked, and that they'll find out more from Ben or a staffer,
right before it's time. Anne leaves to go to the audience. At like 1:20, Ben walks in quickly,
briefs them on the situation, then has to leave to handle a staffer who questions if they really need
the two hours. Ben finally returns and says "sorry." Gemma giggles and says "I didn't wear heels
incase we have to crawl." Ben says "smart call, considering you might have to run from the area
to the stage area." Gemma says "that's what I was afraid you'd say." Ben leaves quickly.

Harry and Gemma, get escorted to the first room. It's close to the front, but Harry knows there's
five rooms, so they'll probably end somewhere wacky. Gemma smirks. They're given the go a
head to start, from Ben, over the loud speaker. Harry grins, he's messed up celebrity noses.
Gemma picks up the late late show cue card that's on the table. Gemma says "hello and welcome to
late late escapes, this is your first time visiting with us, I can tell, because you grabbed this card
first, when you should know, that this is the exact size of paper that all of our clues are on."
Gemma huffs and says "whatever." Harry giggles hysterically and grabs the instructions. Gemma
says "ah dear friend, something that you're truly going to love, this room is called, celebrity noses."
Harry says "oh no, god no, lord no." Gemma says "let me finish reading!!" Harry says "fine."
Gemma says "now, I know what you're thinking, this segment has to be a gag, well I can assure
you that it's not, we really had those problems, now it's up to you, to match the celebrity noses to
their description. Oh and one more thing, the noses are already on the wall, all you have to do, is
Velcro the right name based on the description." The walkie talkie person comes over and says
"hello dear children, I am your host, you may call me momma Styles." Harry says "mum?" Gemma
bursts out laughing hysterically and says "no way?" Anne hushes them and says "it is my job, to
play these recordings." Anne plays the first clue. James says "now this nose is from a famous man,
from a very famous point in his career, as you can see, there's this one strand of hair, right here.
There's a story behind this out of." James gets cut off. Harry hums and looks at the pictures.

Harry say "oh, this one, that's the strand of hair." Gemma says "it's Zayn." Harry says "oh yeah!!"
Gemma moves Zayn's name to underneath his nose. Anne plays the second recording. James says
"this famous boybander, is often know, for squirting water, right out of his mouth, and showing off
his nose." Gemma says "oh, it's you." Harry squeaks and says "excuse me?!" Gemma rolls her eyes
and puts Harry's name under it. Harry says "this isn't fun." Gemma says "oh I think it's brilliant, I
like it." Harry says "whatever." Anne plays the next recording, James says "this famous dog, isn't
famous from a show, but famous because of who he knows, his owner is none other than Louis
Tomlinson." Harry says "Clifford." Gemma says "weirdos." Gemma moves Clifford onto it and
says "so the last nose belongs to Niall." Anne says "you are correct, now before you go, there's
some important information I need to share. Please exit all rooms, that you enter today, to your left,
but do be careful as you move between our escape rooms today, because you'll need to watch your
head, as you move on a head." Harry says "exit to the left, from all rooms." Anne says "exactly,
also quiet in the hallways, they are live right now." They quietly move out of the room. To the
right, is a tunnel, to the left is a small hallway, made out of fake walls. They go to the left and
Harry notices a camera catching them passing through, it's a large camera that they put between the
walls. Harry smirks at it, waves and winks. Gemma does a hush motion. Harry and Gemma go into
the room.

Harry grabs the instruction sheet and reads it out loud to Gemma. Harry says "welcome to late late
escape, you're in the room: Like us on. This room's theme is based on the show's segment, like us
on. Your goal is to find the social media site logos thought the room and match them to their
names. The description of the site is on each logo, if you get stumped or want a hint, ask the hint
giver. Good luck, and don't forget to Like us on____ which is typically used after making a very
British thing." Gemma says "tea." Gemma and Harry rush over to the tea set up in the room. Harry
finds it near the tea kettle. Harry says "red circle with the letter B." Gemma snorts and says "it's on
the back." Gemma takes it and says "this site is a non profit organization, often used for petitions.
Our most popular petition is at backslash let James Corden do celebrity noses already!!" Harry
says "yes please, I'll gladly sign that petition." Gemma says "we should figure out which site it is,
before moving onto the next clue." Harry says "wait, is there nothing on it?" Gemma says "what do
you mean?" Harry takes it and reads it again. Harry sees two cue cards on the table this time. Harry
grabs both. The one is the welcome. The other one has stuff on it. Harry smirks and says "ah hah,
you're clever, you found our second hint, your next card is hidden, somewhere very tight, but it is
also, right in plain sight." Gemma hums and says "oh!!" Gemma goes over to the mega phone and
says "it's right here." Harry gasps. Gemma says "this is a site, where fan fictions are born, mainly
for, all about one direction. Your next card will be, in a place that you'd sit, where a person might
write, one of their greatest whit's." Harry says "wait, let's put them on the wall." Gemma says "BW
dot org is clearly the petition." Harry agrees. Gemma puts it on the wall. Harry sits down on the
couch and says "I'm sitting down, where I'd write my own whits." Gemma says "check between the
couch cousins." Gemma sticks it under all dot org. Gemma says "okay, last two are late late show
dot tv and real tea dot com." Harry gasps as he pulls out a card from between the couch cushions.
The third card is the word TEA in teal lettering. Gemma reads it "this site is used for spilling the
tea, where people post their stories, of meeting celebrities." Harry laughs. Gemma continues
"check around, something celebrities always have done, where you'll find, the next place to like us
on." Gemma says "obviously the vanity, make up!!" They rush to the vanity and check all of the
drawers. Harry checks under the bottom of the chair. Gemma gasps, grabs the card, and says "this
is the last site you needed to find, congratulations, you should now have four. This is our personal
favorite, it's where you can watch live videos, of Ben Winston turning down, brilliant ideas from
James Corden." Harry says "that's mean Ben, treat people with kindness." Gemma matches the
correct one and says "okay, we're done, right?" Anne says "yes, you are done, great job, you solved
the like us on mystery, now please, as you exit to the left, watch your head."

They're stopped by a big wall. Anne apologizes quietly, she's stopping them. They don't
understand. The door opens like five minutes later. Harry hears it slam shut and then open again,
before the wall is moved by a staffer. She smiles. They go into the room quickly.

The room is much more messy, like a prop room. Gemma points to the four yellow circles on the
table. Harry finds the directions and says "hello dear adventurer, and welcome to late late escapes,
we hope your enjoying this five part escape." Gemma says "at first the rhymes were cute, now
there just plain boring, oh look, you've got me rhyming!!" Harry laughs. Harry says "let me finish
the directions, Gemma." Gemma says "hurry it up." Harry says slowly "this room is called, carpool
karaoke." Gemma snatches the directions and says "your first job is to find, the four picture frames,
they're all together and have your first clue with them." Harry says "the empty picture frames?"
Gemma says "they don't have a cue card attached to them. This big wrapped package does though."
Harry grins. Gemma grabs the car and says "your first clue, is this, it's very simple, just find
something you'd read." Harry reads off books that he's read. Gemma finds the book that they want
that's got a paper cover on it with the word story. Harry grabs it, opens it up and says "it's a fake
book!!" Gemma cracks up laughing hysterically, grabs the cue card that's in the book like a
bookmark and says "you read it." Harry says "you've found your second clue, good job, you're off
to a fantastic start, find something that an R and B artist, would often wear." Harry hums and says
"rings, a hat, umm." Gemma says "chains, duh!!" Gemma finds a bedded necklace. Harry looks in
one of the prop bins and finds a plastic chain necklace that's yellow.

Gemma snatches the card off of them and says "you've found the plastic chains, get it? Probably
not, besides you're probably tired of the rhymes, your next clue is, something you'd wear, on a
cold, windy day." Harry says "I'd wear a long jacket." Gemma says "because you're a weirdo, I'd
say denim jacket, and there's one right there in the prop box." Gemma pulls it out and says "yes!! A
card right in the pocket." Gemma reads "your last clue, just kidding, you're still missing an object.
Find something hand held, to look at yourself." Harry says "there are no hand held mirrors."
Gemma groans and says "because we have to find it, it's probably in one of these prop boxes."
Harry says into the walkie talkie "mum, Gemma's being mean to me!" Gemma squawks and says
"oi, I'm not being mean, I'm frustrated because you're asking stupid questions!!" Harry says "you
know, I should've asked Niall or Liam, to be my escape room partner, they wouldn't have insulted
me like this." Anne says "time's running out, stop bickering, you still have a puzzle to solve."
Harry says "that didn't rhyme." Anne says "I made it up myself, of course it's not going to rhyme."
Gemma finds the hand held mirror and reads the card "good job mate, now, open the package and
make your matches."

Harry cracks up laughing and says "get it, package matches?" Gemma says "they don't rhyme, but
whatever." Gemma opens the package and says "oh come on!! You've got to be fucking kidding
me." Harry says "what?" Gemma says "it's not even words or anything, it's all letters that don't
make words." Harry hums and says "wmyb, wmyb…oh!! Why might you bitch? What makes you
bad?" Gemma says "what makes you beautiful!! The mirror goes with this one." Gemma puts it
down on the frame on the circle. Harry finds what makes you beautiful printed on a paper. Harry
puts that into an empty frame and says "no, this is how it goes." Harry switches out the
abbreviations for the real words. Harry puts all of their other song names into frames. Gemma
snatches the no control, puts it with the denim jacket, snatches Story of my life to put with the book
and ends with no control and the jacket. Harry says "no, no, that can't be right, we all wore the
same denim jacket when we filmed the story of my life music video, so that they could cut all of
our faces together for the final edit." Anne says "you're correct, just the way it is, sorry, had to
check." Gemma says "you're wrong, I was right, let's go." Harry whines.

Harry's no longer having any fun, Gemma is ruining this escape room for him. Harry folds his
arms, huffs and pouts his way to the next room. Gemma says "oh fucking hell, this one is going to
be the fucking worst." Harry squeals and says "oh, this is going to be awesome." Gemma grabs the
card and says "hello there, welcome to late late escapes, this room is definitely hard, probably thee
hardest one to solve. All of your hints, are on a recording device, you can play it, as much as you'd
like. The goal of this room, is to weed out the fruit, because some of these, simply just will not
work. Ask for a clue, if you can't figure it out. Remember, time is running out." Gemma snorts and
says "no shit." They quickly play the first recording. Harry says "that's Louis, complaining about
avocadoes on goggle box." Gemma says "how do you know that?" Harry says "I was in London
when it aired!! I watched the whole thing, I never miss an episode of goggle box." Harry rolls his
eyes. Gemma says "oh my god." Gemma finds the word and the picture of the fruit that's attached
to each other, then puts it on the wall. Gemma plays the next recording. It's Harry saying let's call
the whole thing off! Gemma says "I don't get it." Harry cracks up laughing, slaps his knee and says
"tamatoes." Gemma says "you mean tomatoes?" Harry says "let's call the whole thing off!!"
Gemma says "okay, whatever." Gemma just puts the tomatoes on the wall. It's James saying "oh
that'll really make a splash!!" Harry says "oranges." Gemma says "how the hell do you know
that?" Harry says "it's my favorite segment!! I was one of the first ones to participate in it." Harry
rolls his eyes, finds the oranges and puts it up. Gemma plays the last recording. The girl says
"when life gives you this fruit, throw it back and say I just want to meet one direction." Gemma
says "haha, very funny." Harry grabs the lemon and puts it on the wall. Anne says "you're correct!!
You may move onto the next room, don't forget to exit to your left and please, no bickering in the
halls, we're live, on telly, you know." Harry giggles. Anne says "thank you, I made it up myself."
They go through the tunnel and get stopped by a giant wall. Anne hushes them and says very
quietly "I'm not ready for you two yet, I have to ask Ben what to say when you're bickering like
children!!"

After what seems like forever, Anne finally says "ready, sorry about that." The wall moves a few
minutes later and they rush into the room. Gemma says "what room are we in?" Anne says "the
last one." Gemma says "oh thank god, I'm really ready for this to be over." Anne says "time's
running out." Gemma picks up one of the two cue cards. Gemma says "oh, one more thing, before
you go, you must find the microphone, to be able to surprise James." Gemma groans, moans and
says "oh fuck this, we're never going to make it out to surprise James." Harry grabs the instructions
and says "it's a good thing you found that now Gems, could've been worse. Now hush it." Gemma
snatches the sheet and says "hello gov'na, sorry, trying my best to be British, I guess that's a side
effect of working with two British men. See what I did there? I made my own joke, get it?
Probably not, well this is the room, called side effects may include. Your job is to find the side
effects list, but first, you need the name of the problem. Your first hint is, look under your feet, just
kidding, there's nothing there, but you're going to have to go, low to the floor, to find this card."
Harry cracks up laughing hysterically, while Gemma goes to the floor to find the card. Gemma
finds it under the table and says "oh you've found a side effects card, don't fret, you were supposed
to if you came from hint number one, hang it up and grab key number four." Harry says "oh!! You
 have to figure out which box key number four unlocks."

Gemma says "I'm betting box number one." Harry says "ha, that'd be hilarious." Gemma goes to
the box to open it. Harry says "side effects may include crying, screaming, world wide black out,
mayhem, chaos, confusion and internet breaking." Gemma groans and says "oh bloody fucking
hell. Oh you smarty pants, you got us good, this is your second clue. This card is hidden in plain
view, but careful, there might be two." Harry says "you already found the microphone." Harry
picks up the other one and says "yep, just the welcome to late late escapes." Gemma says "oh! It's
in the megaphone." Harry pulls out the card and says "congratulations, you've found problem
number three, the obvious key, is key number three." Gemma says "so then the obvious box, is
box number three." Harry turns around the card and says "waiting two years to release an album."
Gemma says "the third problem? So we have four problems, four side effects. Jesus Christ."
Gemma grabs key number three and tries box number three. It doesn't open. Gemma says "oh fuck
this." Gemma tries number two, then number four, and it opens number five. Gemma says "yes!!
Another card." Gemma gives it to Harry to read. Harry says "oh, you were sly!! Good job, thinking
of just opening all of the boxes, PS, this is the same answer that was attached to clue number one."
Gemma lets out a yell and a scream, cursing them out. James Corden's voice comes over "what was
that?!" Ben Winston says into the loud speaker "nothing, human error." James' voice says "are you
okay in the escape rooms?! Please dial 7, if you need some assistance." Gemma dials seven
instantly.

Harry hangs it up and opens box number six with the same key. Gemma screams again. Ben
Winston says over the loud speaker "we're trying to film the show, security, please, find this
screamer." Anne says "it's just Gemma, they're in side effects may include, she's loosing her mind
over the boxes." Ben says "James, dial 4." James dials four. Their phone rings. Gemma says
"finally!! Let me out of this damn escape hell hole." James says "hello special guest, I don't
recognize your voice, but don't worry dear, I'm being told in my ear, that your door isn't locked.
You can leave if you want, but then your partner, will be stuck, solving the room, all on their own."
Gemma says "tell Ben, I'm not getting paid enough for this." James says "Ben said you're not
getting paid at all." Gemma says "exactly!!!" James hangs up on her. Harry grabs all four keys and
finishes opening all of the boxes that he can. Nine and ten don't work with any of the keys. Harry
grabs all of the cards and reads them to himself. Harry puts the four problems up. Apocalypse,
waiting two years to release an album, one direction reunion and having a few good pitches. Harry
says "thinking all of your ideas are brilliant, sharing your ideas with everyone, wanting to tweet
your ideas and then realizing your idea will never come true." Harry puts that with good pitches.
Harry reads "crying, screaming, world wide black out, mayhem, chaos, confusion and end of the
world as we know it." Harry puts that with apocalypse.

Harry reads "crying, screaming, lots of memes, and the word soon isn't soon, because soon equals
now." Harry hums and says "Louis' solo album!" Harry puts that under waiting two years to release
an album and then puts the final card in it's spot. Harry says into the walkie talkie "mom? Is this
right?" Anne says "yes, that's correct, you may move onto the microphone." Harry picks up the
card, reads it to himself. Harry gasps and says "I know it!!" Harry finds a lock box, that's a safe
with a key pad. Harry enters in five, six, seven, eight and it opens up. Harry takes out the
microphone. Harry says "okay, let's go." Anne says "wait, one more thing, one last thing before
you go, you've completed the last room, but we need one more number code." Harry says "okay."
Anne says "what's the count down for the song once in a lifetime?" Harry grins and says "one, two,
three, four." Anne says "you are free to go." They open the door, and it's one big long hallway of
the walls that have been everywhere. Harry quickly goes a head by himself, grinning, so excited to
surprise James.

Next chapter is Niall. Niall would need to end wherever Louis started, so would start
with Carpool Karaoke, and end with like us on. Zayn would start at the third room that
Louis did, which was flinch, get a kick out of it, and end with Carpool Karaoke, Liam
would start at side effects may include, end with flinch, which is the farthest room.

Niall's pov:

On May 9th, Bressie arrives into town. Bressie is so excited to do the escape room with Niall. Niall
cracks up and says "I'm excited too mate, last one was really stressful, but I think I know what to
expect now." Bressie says "it's probably going to be hard." Niall snorts and says "I doubt it, I asked
for no crawl spaces and no locked doors." Bressie says "oh thank god, I highly doubt an official
escape room company would design that kind of room." Niall grins and says "I hope not, but we
should probably brush up on late late show segments." Bressie says "good idea." They watch some
of the side effects may include videos. Niall cracks up laughing hysterically at Harry's side effects
may include bits. They go to bed early. Niall has a crazy dream, that it's five escape rooms and that
in the end, he's reunited with Louis, Liam, Harry as well as Zayn. Niall walks up instantly at that,
shivers and says "fuck." Bressie heard Niall freaking out and says "what's wrong mate?" Niall
shivers and says "crazy dream, it's nothing mate." Bressie says "do you need to cuddle?" Niall says
"yeah mate, do you mind?" Niall pouts. Bressie snorts and says "fine!!" Niall grins and says "you
can't ever resist my pout face." Bressie says "no, I just don't want you to post on Instagram that you
want a snuggle partner." Niall says "smart call." They fall asleep on Niall's huge bed.

The next morning, they eat breakfast together, hang out most of the day and then head to the studio
after lunch. They get more details from Niall's team, but they still have no idea who their hint
person will be. They speak to Ben, things happen and then they get microphones on to prepare for
the escape rooms. They each get a walkie talkie, and Ben says "your hint hunter is supposed to
travel with you, but incase that doesn't happen, switch over to channel six, and let me know. Don't
panic, just switch right away and I'll get ontop of it." Niall says "okay, great." Niall gets a sneak
peak of their walls and tunnels, from a staffer. Niall's completely okay with it, because it's
walkable. They're relieved. The staffer takes them to their escape room. Niall says "oh brilliant!!"
Niall and Bressie look around the room. It's a prop room, with a table in the middle, that has a
black table cloth on it, with four yellow circles placed on the edges. Ben says "start!!" Niall
squeals. Bressie giggles. Niall looks around the room again, it's the prop room, but without the
spill your guts food. Niall is relieved. Bressie gasps, finds the directions and says "hello dear
adventurer, and welcome to late late escapes, we hope your enjoying this five part escape. This
room is called, carpool karaoke. Your first job is to find, the four picture frames, they're all
together and have your first clue with them." Niall finds the empty picture frames as well as the
package of picture frames, puts everything on the table and then finds the card. Niall says "your
first clue, is this, it's very simple, just find something you'd read." Bressie says "a book." Bressie
finds a book marked story. Niall looks inside of it and says "oi, it's just a fucking note book with
blank pages." Bressie says "but it says story on the front, I bet it's the right one." Niall says "fine."
Niall flips through it and a clue card pops out. Bressie squeals, grabs it and says "you've found your
second clue, good job, you're off to a fantastic start, find something that an R and B artist, would
often wear." They look around the room.

Niall says "all I can think of is Liam's damn chain." Bressie bursts out laughing, giggles, pulls out a
yellow plastic chain and says "like this?" Niall says "yeah." Niall shakes his head, grabs the card
and says "you've found the plastic chains, get it? Probably not, besides you're probably tired of the
rhymes, your next clue is, something you'd wear, on a cold, windy day." Niall says "all of the
rhymes?! Oh, mate, this five part escape is gonna be epic." Bressie cracks up giggling and says "I
don't get the joke." Niall says "I'm just going with it. So something I'd wear on a cold day is a
jacket." Bressie says "what kind of jacket?" Niall says "fleece." Bressie looks in the boxes and
finds a freaking denim jacket. Niall cracks up giggling and says "oh lovely." Bressie says "okay,
there's nothing in here." Niall says "check the pockets." Bressie finds the card. Bressie says "your
last clue, just kidding, you're still missing an object. Find something hand held, to look at
yourself." Niall snorts, goes through the other boxes on the middle shelf while Bressie goes
through the ones on the shelf right below since Niall's knees aren't the best. Bressie says "one, two,
three. This is the third shelf down." Niall says "yeah, so?" Bressie hums and says "oh!! I thought
these were just bandanas, but maybe they hid something in here!!" Bressie grabs the box, digs
through it, squeals and says "a mirror!!" Niall says "yes lad!!" Bressie pulls it out and says "god
job mate, now, open the package and make your matches." Niall says "there's one on the back!!"
Bresie turns it around, and says "oh you smart alect, you caught us, it's not what you see in the
mirror that counts, it's what's on the inside that truly matters, because that is what makes you
beautiful." Niall says "oh James, I love you!! You're a directioner, right from my heart!!" Niall
grins and giggles. Bressie gasps and says "I think your onto something Niall!! This is the initials
wmyb." Niall says "oh my god! There's a no control poster right there on the wall." Bressie says "I
swear I saw a what makes you beautiful one too." They find the four posters, put them into the
empty frames and Niall says "wait, I'm confused, where does the chains go?" Bressie says "drag
me down!! James' epic rap." Niall says "oh yes!!" They match everything correctly. Their hint
hunter says "you are correct." Niall gasps and says "Maren Morris?!!" Maren laughs and says "hi
Niall and Niall. I have one last thing to tell you before you leave." Niall says "okay then." Maren
Morris says "please exit all rooms, that you enter today, to your left, but do be careful, as you move
between our escape rooms today, because you'll need to watch your head, as you move on a head."
Niall snorts and says "obviously talking about the walk through tunnels." Maren Morris giggles.
Bressie says "do you come with us?" Maren says "I'd have to check with Ben, I don't remember,
but I don't think so." Niall says "I think you're right." Niall and Bressie go on ahead. Niall switches
to six quickly and says "Ben?" Ben says "yeah?" Niall says "Maren didn't know what to do, so I

hallways please, from now on." Niall whispers "got it!!" Niall changes back to their channel.
Bressie giggles.

In the next room, Niall looks around. There's glass or plastic wall and a launcher. Niall recognizes
it as the flinch set up. Bressie shuts the door and says "oh!" Bressie, picks up the directions and
says "hello there, welcome to late late escapes, this room is definitely hard, probably thee hardest
one to solve. All of your hints, are on a recording device, you can play it, as much as you'd like.
The goal of this room, is to weed out the fruit, because some of these, simply just will not work.
Ask for a clue, if you can't figure it out. Remember, time is running out." Niall, finds the recording
device and hits play. The recording is Louis, and he says "oh Liam, come on mate, you have to be
kidding me." Bressie, cracks up laughing and says "that's Louis, complaining about Liam liking
avocadoes on toast on goggle box." Niall, cracks up and says "that's a good one." Niall, matches
the picture of an avocado to the word. They play the second recording. Harry says "let's call the
whole thing off!!" Bressie says "oh Tomatoes!! Harry called them Tamatoes." Niall, giggles and
says "okay, okay, I'm trusting you mate." Niall, puts them on the wall. The third recording is
James saying "oh that'll really make a splash!!" Bressie says "oranges!!" Niall, puts them up on the
wall. Bressie, plays the last recording and Niall says "lemons." Bressie, finds the answers, handing
them to Niall and Niall puts them on. Maren says "correct, sorry boys, I didn't realize there were
five different rooms on my end too." Niall says "it's okay, let's go." Maren says "okay."

The next room, looks like a mess. There's wooden boxes, on one side of the room, with locks on
them. On the other side, there's eight hooks, labeled one through four at the top. Bressie picks up
the directions as well as the two cue cards. Bressie says "just a welcome card." Bressie reads the
next one and says "oh, one more thing, before you go, you must find the microphone to be able to
surprise James. But first, you'll need some numbers. Hint, Niall, do the shimmy." Niall says "five,
six, seven, eight" and quickly gets the microphone out using the code. It's right. Bressie, sighs in
relief and finds the directions. Niall, takes it, smirks and says "hello gov'na, sorry, trying my best to
be British, I guess that's a side effect of working with two British men. See what I did there? I
made my own joke, get it?" Bressie, laughs hysterically and says "yes, I get it, made your own side
effects may include joke." Niall says "probably not, well this is the room, called side effects may
include. Your job is to find the side effects list, but first, you need the name of the problem. Your
first hint is, look under your feet, just kidding, there's nothing there, but you're going to have to go,
low to the floor, to find this card." Bressie, instantly goes onto the floor and finds it under the
coffee table along with a note card.

Bressie says "oh you've found a side effects card, don't fret, you were supposed to if you came
from hint number one, hang it up and grab key number four." Bressie, switches to the note card and
says "side effects may include crying, screaming, world wide black out, mayhem, chaos,
confusion, and internet breaking." Niall, puts it on the wall on one of the bottom spots and says
"we'll match the problems later." Bressie says "great idea." Niall, hands him key number four.
Bressie says "maybe search, high for the next cue cards, that have the next clues." Niall says "ooh
good idea, you handle low, I'll handle high." Bressie says "exactly, don't need you hurting your
knee." Niall says "thanks mate." Niall squeals and says "I found the next clue card, you were right
mate." Bressie, sighs in relief. Niall, says "woah, what's this?" Niall gasps and says "there's another
key, in this box." Niall says "five!! There's a fifth key." Niall, finds a card in the box. Niall says
"oh mate, you're good at escape rooms, nothing gets past your sleuthing skills, you've found the
hidden key, which unlocks box number nine." Bressie, gasps in shock and says "niall, you're a
genius." Bressie, quickly unlocks box number nine. Bressie, hands him all of the cue cards from
the two boxes. Niall says "what box did key four open?" Bressie smirks and says "box number
eight." Niall, laughs at that. Niall says "Apocalypse." Bressie gasps and says "our first problem,
yes!!" Niall giggles, and puts it above the first side effects. Niall says "oh, wow, we're shocked,
you found our hidden key. Go on now, open box number ten with it too." Bressie, opens bock
number ten and hands him the cue card. Niall says "oh my god, you're going in our exact order!!
Yay!! We forgot one tiny detail, see there are only five keys and ten boxes. That's because each
key, opens two boxes. If you haven't already found hint number one, don't fret, ask your hint hunter
for a clue. If you've already found hint number one, use the second key to open the second box."

Bressie opens box number one with the key and says "oh you smarty pants, you got us good, this is
your second clue. This card is hidden in plain view, but careful, there might be two." Niall scoffs
and says "great." Niall, looks around the room and finds it in the megaphone. Niall says
"congradulations, you've found problem number three, the obvious key, is key number three."
Bressie says "other card?" Niall says "waiting two years to release an album." Bressie, laughs
hysterically and says "Louie!!!" Niall gasps and says "oi! How dare you all insult Louie, I'm
offended, why aren't you picking on Payno?! He waited just as long!!" Bressie gets both key threes
and opens boxes five as well as six. Bressie gives Niall the cards from both boxes. Niall says "oh,
you were sly, good job, thinking of just opening all of the boxes, PS this is the same answer that
was attached to clue number one. If you didn't open all of the boxes and you opened this with key
number three first, then ingnore that last card, it was for the smart alecs who decided to forgo our
adventure, try one more over, that's the only way." Bressie giggles and says "I mean we half
cheated, so they did get us there." Niall says "hush it and thanks for crawling for me." Bressie says
"no problem, I hope you're prepared for all the comments from your fans telling you to get a
second knee surgery." Niall says "yeah well I want kids this decade, and I'd much rather deal with
the current pain than go through the pain of a second knee surgery. Besides, it's taken me years of
fucking therapy to get where I am now. And both knees are always going to hurt a bit, one just
always hurts a little more than the other, because I can't get perfect weight balance on each leg
every single time I do something." Bressie says "Niall?" Niall says "what?" Bressie says "no one
has perfect weight balance, that's an impossible thing to require out of yourself and I want names so
I can smack them in the face." Niall says "just fans." Bressie says "I thought you deleted the app."
Niall says "I reinstalled it a couple weeks ago." Bressie says "delete it again, please." Niall says
"okay, okay." Niall, deletes the app right infront of Bressie. Bressie says "good, just until all of this
blows over, we'll have to wait until after this episode airs and after they've reacted. Niall says
"they're expecting us to just cheat, so grab all of the keys, open the rest of the boxes and fuck the
hint." Bressie says "great idea." Niall, sits down on the couch and texts Louis, telling him that he
upset himself. Louis responds quickly how love? Niall replies with what he did. Louis responds
ignore the fuck heads who tell you what to do, you know your pain tolerance is extremely high
love. No one needs to know that the Instagram stories are proof for me that you're doing what you
need to do and resting. Niall responds thanks Lou. Louis responds what brought this on? Twitter?
Niall tells him what he did. Louis responds love, for your mental sake, delete the app, keep it off of
your phone. When we see eachother in person next, we'll put your twitter on my phone, and I'll
monitor your mentions for a couple of weeks, block everyone that's rude. Sound good? Niall
responds yes, thanks Lou. Louis responds no problem, have to go, love you. Niall responds love
you too. Louis sends him kisses emojis. Niall smiles and sighs. Bressie, laughs hysterically and
reads him all of the cards in order. Niall, cracks up laughing. Bressie says "okay, time to solve this
and get out of this room."

Bressie says "okay, so crying, screaming, world wide black out, mayhem, chaos, confusion and end
of the world as we know it, is apocalypse. crying, screaming, world wide black out, mayhem,
chaos, confusion, and internet breaking. That's one direction reunion. side effects may include
thinking all of your ideas are brilliant, sharing your ideas with everyone, wanting to tweet your
ideas and then realizing your idea will never come true. Oh that must be having a few good
pitches. Oh my god, this room is literally a mess, I don't even think we have this side effects card."
Bressie puts them on the wall in the correct positions. Niall says "fucking hell." Bressie finds it in
the hidden box and says "fuck heads put it in this box." Niall gasps in shock and says "oi, damn
you." Bressie says "crying, screaming, lots of memes, and the word soon isn't soon, because soon
equals now. This is definitely waiting two years to release an album." Niall says "still fuck all of
you for insulting Louie and not Payno for doing the exact same shit." Bressie says "true." They
leave the room with the microphone.

Morris tells Ben Winston that the side effects may include room is so messy and the notes of
where everything is didn't match what the boys found. Ben, apologizes profusely, this is the first
time they've done their own escape room, and the crew probably forgot where to put them. She
says "the next one better be more organized." Ben says "there's a recorder on the table in the room,
there's also a recorder in the room we put you in." She thanks him and he takes her to the room.
Niall and Bressie, finally get let into the room. Bressie quickly grabs the right one. Bressie says
"ah dear friend, something that you're truly going to love, this room is called, celebrity noses. Now,
I know what you're thinking, this segment has to be a gag, well I can assure you that it's not, we
really had those problems, now it's up to you, to match the celebrity noses to their description. Oh
and one more thing, the noses are already on the wall, all you have to do, is Velcro the right name
based on the description." Niall says "holy shit." Bressie plays the recordings. James says "now
this nose is from a famous man, from a very famous point in his career, as you can see, there's this
one strand of hair, right here. There's a story behind this out of." James gets cut off. Niall says
"Zayn!!" Bressie, quickly moves them while Niall sits down on the couch. Niall plays the next
recording. James says "this famous boybander, is often know, for squirting water, right out of his
mouth, and showing off his nose." James gets cut off. Niall laughs and says "Harry." Bressie
laughs and says "got it. The last two options are you and Clifford." Niall says "me?!" Bressie says
"I know which ones are which, but play the fucking recording." Niall plays recording number
three. James says "this famous dog, isn't famous from a show, but famous because of who he
knows, his owner is none other than Louis Tomlinson." Niall says "Clifford." Niall plays the
fourth recording, curious to know his description. James says "this nose, belongs to a cheeky Irish
lad, who loves to sing with his guitar." James gets cut off again. Niall laughs and says "okay, this
is good. I'm glad I've got to hear some of the descriptions, they're quite good." They leave the
room.
In the last room, Bressie says "final room." Niall says "thank god." Bressie says "ah hah, you're
clever, you found our second hint, your next card is hidden somewhere very tight, but it is also
right in plain sight." Niall squeals, grabs the directions and says "oi, this is the directions mate."
Niall rolls his eyes. Niall says "welcome to late late escape, you're in the room: Like us on. This
room's theme is based on the show's segment, like us on. Your goal is to find the social media site
logos thought the room and match them to their names. The description of the site is on each logo,
if you get stumped or want a hint, ask the hint giver. Good luck, and don't forget to Like us on____
which is typically used after making a very British thing." Bressie says "okay, um foot ball,
watching the telly with mates, drinking." Niall says "tea." Niall, goes over to the tea cart. Niall
finds a card that's a red circle with the letter B. Niall says "this site is a non profit organization,
often used for petitions. Our most popular petition is at backslash let James corden do Celebrity
noses already!!" Bressie says "okay, and we already found the second hint, so we need to find
another card hidden in plain sight." Niall and Bressie search the room. Niall, finds it in the
megaphone. Niall says "found it." It's a pink square with the letter A. Niall says "this is a site,
where fan fictiosn are born, mainly for, all about one direction." Niall says "it's not aa0d, it's AO3
you idiots!! Adventurous adventures of One Direction is aaod!!! And that's a three part series that
you wouldn't get unless your a true one direction stan!! I'm a true directioner, cause I can spit these
facts." Bressie's jaw drops wide open and says "what's adventurous adventures of one direction?"
Niall's jaw drops wide open and he says "only the best, animated one direction fan fiction, out
there. You know what? You watch it, right now, I'm going to finish this room." Bressie says
"seriously?" Niall says "I'm dead serious mate, get on it, now lad." Bressie sits down and watches
adventurous adventures of one direction. Niall smirks and gets back to work.

Niall whispers "your next card will be, in a place that you'd sit, where a person might write, one of
their greatest whit's." Niall sits down on the couch, and finds the card between the cushions. Niall
looks it over. On the front is an app shape with the word TEA in teal lettering. On the back it says
this site is used for spilling the tea, where people post their stories, of meeting celebrities. Niall,
finds the clue card too and whispers "check around, something celebrities always have done, where
you'll find, the next place to like us on." Niall hums, looks around the room and goes over to the
vanity. Bressie, is cracking up over aaood one. Niall says "Bres?" Bressie looks up and whispers
"yeah?" Niall points to the vanity. Bressie, moves the chair and uncovers the next one, handing it
to Niall. Niall whispers "thanks." Bressie goes back to the episode. It's an L in blue with a tv
behind it. On the back it says this is our personal favorite, it's where you can watch live videos, of
Ben Winston turning down, brilliant ideas from James Corden. Niall whispers "it says "this is our
personal favorite, it's where you can watch live videos, of Ben Winston turning down brilliant
ideas from James Corden. This is sad mate." The clue card says this is the last site you needed to
find, congratulations, you should now have four. Niall, goes to the wall to make the matches. The
real tea.com has to be the TEA one. Niall puts that into the spot. All about one direction dot org is
the pink square. Niall scoffs at it, but puts it in the spot. Late late show dot tv is the L with the tv,
which Niall really needs to check out. Niall, takes a picture of it and whispers "I need to check that
out later, if it doesn't exist, I'm creating it." Niall smirks. The last one is bw dot org. Niall puts the
circle with the B in that spot. Maren whispers "you've done it, great job, just one last thing before
you go. You've completed the last room, but we need one more number code. What's the count
down for the song once in a lifetime?" Niall smiles and whispers "one, two, three, four." Maren
whispers "correct, you may go leave and surprise James." Niall whispers "thanks" and leaves the
room. The walls and everything are being moved out of the way. Niall, quickly goes towards the
stage with the microphone, to surprise James.

Zayn flies out Doniya, Waliyha, Safaa and his parents, that way he can see all of them, instead of
just Doniya. They're all so happy to see him. Zayn says "I decided to fly all of you out, instead of
just Doniya." Doniya says "woah, woah, why were you only going to fly me out?" Zayn says
"well, I got asked to surprise James Corden on May tenth, for the late late show, it's going to be an
escape room bit, when James will think it's celebrity noses." Waliyha says "I don't really like the
celebrity noses segment, it's cruel at this point, I just want the celebrity noses jokes already." Zayn
says "I know it's cruel, but the people here in the states love it." Waliyha says "they're weird then."
Zayn giggles. Doniya gasps and says "you want me to do the escape room with you?!" Zayn says
"yes, is that alright?" Doniya grins and says "I'd love to, what's the theme? I think we should study
it." Zayn says "I don't know what the theme is, I didn't ask." Waliyha snorts and says "well then
maybe it should be me that goes with Zayn, since both of us have never done an escape room."
Doniya says "yeah, but the door will be locked." Zayn says "actually, I requested no locked doors."
Waliyha says "great! I'm in." Doniya says "but escape rooms are my all time favorite thing." Zayn
says "you saw the first, one they did, right?" Doniya says "no, I didn't." Zayn pulls it up. Doniya
squeals in delight and says "oh my god, this is the best one I've ever seen." Zayn says "this was
designed by an actual escape room company, this one might end up being completely designed by
the late late show staff." Doniya says "then I think you should find out, if you're allowed to bring
two people." Mom says "girls, girls, there's no need to fight. Both of you can go with Zayn, on the
tenth. Maybe they could always use an extra set of hands for the clues." Zayn says "that's probably
true, because there is going to be five escape rooms." Doniya squeaks "five?" Zayn says "yeah, one
puzzle per room." Doniya says "in an hour? There's no way." Zayn says "they said they didn't
know all of the details yet, we'll find out on the tenth." Doniya says "no, absolutely not, I will not
go." Zayn says "what? Why not?" Doniya says "I refuse to go into the escape room with you, I will
stay in the audience to watch." Waliyha says "that's fine, I will do the escape room with you,
Zain." Zayn smiles and says "thanks."

On May tenth, Zayn, Doniya and Waliyha go to the studio together, they meet up with Zayn's team,
who briefs them of the plans. Doniya is definitely out, she's never even watched their show.
Waliyha is completely in, she loves most of their segments. Ben says "what's your least favorite?"
Waliyha says "celebrity noses and like us on." Ben smirks and says "great, well, there's five rooms,
all based on a different late late show segment. Don't judge the puzzles and the room, based on the
segment, please, I can assure you that they're very different." Waliyha says "okay, great. If flinch is
involved, I'm putting Zayn behind the wall." Zayn says "I'll probably scream then." Ben says "I
can't say anything, but you'll have a hint hunter in every room." Zayn says "okay, great." Ben
leaves their dressing room, to escort Doniya to the audience.

Ben speaks to them again, at 1:05, to let them know, that they'll have about two hours to complete
all five rooms. Their entire journy through the escape rooms will be posted online for the whole
world to see, the audience will be lucky enough to just see a little sneak peak. Zayn giggles.
Waliyha says "oh she's going to be pissed." Zayn says "she didn't want to come." Ben says
"someone will escort you to the first room, get you microphones, and explain other things." Ben
leaves the room. A staffer explains that it's five escape rooms, all based on late late show
segments, and that there will be directions on how to get to the next room, once they're in there.
Zayn says "will we have to crawl at all?" The staffer says "we do have tunnels, but they're not
super low to the ground." Zayn says "okay, if they're too low, can I tell you?" She says "yes, yes
please. I'll show you them now, before getting you in a room." She takes Zayn and Waliyha to the
area, then shows them the tunnel. Zayn's a lot taller, than they'd thought, so they would have to
crall through it. She tells everyone that they need to adjust the tunnel height. Ben says "what?
Why?" She says "it's too low to the ground, you promised no crawling, remember?" Ben says
"that's right, I did promise the team no crawling. Okay, yeah, get the mats attached to rolling walls,
hopefully we have enough. Do we have velcro?!" Another staffer responds "an entire roll of velcro,
why?"

Ben says "we need you in the segment filming zone." The staffer arrives a couple minutes later
with the velcro row and a pair of siscors. Another staffer takes them, to set up the walls. They
make sure it's tall enough for Zayn to get through. Zayn thanks them very much, and the woman
takes them to the fatherst room. Zayn says "oh god, this is so far." She grins, points to the second
room on the right and says "you'll end up in that one." Zayn says "that's a little closer." Waliyha
says "it's fine, at least we're not ending with this one." Zayn says "true." They're left in the escape
room. Another staffer gets microphones on them and has them come back out, so they can film
them walking to the room. Zayn grins and giggles. They get filmed walking to the room for the
people online. They're given the walkie talkie, already on the correct channel. Ben says "Zayn?"
Zayn says "yeah?" Ben says "great, just making sure you have a walkie talkie, I have one here in
the control room, your hint hunter is supposed to move to a different location as well, over this
way, but if they don't move, that's okay, just don't panic, switch over to channel six and let me
know." Zayn says "who's our hint hunter?" Ben says "someone you know, but it's not Doniya, she's
in the vip audience lounge." Zayn says "okay, thanks." Ben says "you're welcome." Ben stops
talking to them.

Zayn, looks around the room, taking in all of the details. There's a launcher in one corner, with the
button in a lock box, which stinks, but they clearly thought of safety first. The box even has a sign
that says do not open!! Locked for the safety of players!!! Thank you, Ben Winston. Zayn, smiles
and whispers "okay." Zayn turns and sees the launcher wall. It has a sign that says throw fruit here.
Against the wall right infront of the couch, is a table with a black table cloth, that has three baskets
full of fruits and vegetables. Limes and lemons, oranges and peaches, apples and bananas,
tomatoes, avocadoes and eggplants. On the floor, scattered around the room, are poster boards,
with the name of the produce with a picture above, with Velcro on the back. The couch and coffee
table, that are always in all of the show's fake dressing rooms, are there. The real place to get ready
is the green room, where the photo booth is. There's a tea cart too, and Zayn giggles at it. Waliyah
says "this is actually so cool." Zayn whispers "yeah, totally." Zayn smiles.

They're given their cue to start. Zayn looks at the coffee table and finds the direction sheet. Zayn
says "hello there, welcome to late late escapes, this room is definitely hard, probably thee hardest
one to solve. All of your hints, are on a recording device, you can play it, as much as you'd like.

don't get it." Waliyah hushes him and whispers "it was goggle box, Louis and Liam. Louis was
complaining about avocadoes on toast." Zayn laughs at that and whispers "too trendy for Louis."
Waliyah giggles and finds the avocadoes poster, putting it onto the wall. Zayn plays the second
recording. Harry says "let's call the whole thing off!!" Waliyah says "I don't get it at all." Zayn, just
snickers and says "it was from the show. Harry was on, and made a joke with James. Harry called
tomatoes, tamatoes." Waliyah finds the tomatoes poster and puts it on the wall. James says "oh
that'll really make a splash!!" Waliyah says "oranges?" Zayn grins and says "yeah, that's it."
Waliyah puts the oranges on the wall and says "thank god you watch the show." Zayn, laughs and
says "I know." Waliyah says "I watch the clips, but I don't remember every single thing that
happened." Zayn laughs and says "I admit I watched their musical segment quite a few times."
Waliyah plays the fourth recording. A girl says "when life gives you this fruit, throw it back and
say I just want to meet one direction." Waliyah says "I thought the saying was if life gives you
lemons, turn it into Lemonade." Zayn, laughs and says "not for the one direction fan base." Zayn
puts lemons on the wall. Timbaland says "correct!! You may move on. One more thing, before you
go. Please exit all rooms, that you enter today, to your left, but do be careful, as you move between
our escape rooms today, because you'll need to watch your head, as you move on a head."
Timbaland says "I mean it's not bad, but it's not bars." Zayn says "yeah mate, this is the late late
show, their Harry Styles' kind of puns and rhymes." Waliyah giggles at that.

The next room, is actually the absolute worst, it looks the easiest, based on the set up, but going
through it is difficult. Timbaland, helps them with hints as to where to find everything hidden
around the room. The secret box, that's hidden in plan site, is the most helpful of them all, because
it unlocks nine and ten, which spell out how to solve the room. They solve the puzzle, matching
the symptoms to the problems. Timbaland says "one more thing, before you leave." They groan.
Timbaland says "you must find the microphone, to be able to surprise James. But first, you'll need
some numbers." Zayn says "there it is, it's locked." Timbaland says "the hint is on the coffee
table." Zayn finds it and says "your hint is this. Niall, do the shimmy." Waliyah says "do the
shimmy, Zayn pirouette, and Louie do the splits. And Liam, you stay exactly where you are
because you are perfect!!" Zayn says "five six seven eight" and puts them into the lock. Zayn
opens it and gets the microphone.

They move onto the next room. There's pictures on the wall with names underneath them. They
clearly aren't right though. Zayn snorts and says "that's not my nose." Waliyah says "hello and
welcome to late late escapes, this is your first time visiting with us, I can tell, because you grabbed
this card first, when you should know, that this is the exact size of paper that all of our clues are
on." Waliyah grabs the clue card and says "if your hint hunter doesn't have access, to the CD
player and the CD, don't fret, we thought of everything. We have another copy, of the CD in the
room, it's right next to the CD player." Zayn picks up the directions and says "ah dear friend,
something that you're truly going to love, this room is called, celebrity noses. Now, I know what
you're thinking, this segment has to be a gag, well I can assure you that it's not, we really had those
problems, now it's up to you, to match the celebrity noses to their description. Oh and one more
thing, the noses are already on the wall, all you have to do, is Velcro the right name based on the
description." Waliyah puts the CD into the cd player and plays the tracks. James says "now this

to a cheeky Irish lad, who loves to sing with his guitar." Zayn smiles and says "Niall, very cheeky,
very Irish." Waliyah says "it's the last option, so it's right." They're correct and get to move on.

Zayn quickly grabs the directions, while Waliyah grabs the cue cards. Zayn says "welcome to late
late escape, you're in the room: Like us on. This room's theme is based on the show's segment, like
us on. Your goal is to find the social media site logos thought the room and match them to their
names. The description of the site is on each logo, if you get stumped or want a hint, ask the hint
giver. Good luck, and don't forget to Like us on____ which is typically used after making a very
British thing." Waliyah says "uh." Zayn giggles and goes over to the tea cart. Waliyah says "sorry,
was thinking of breakfast stuff." Zayn says "it's okay." Zayn grabs the site thing and says "there's
no clue." Waliyah smirks and says "it's right here." Zayn shakes his head. Waliyah says "ah hah,
you're clever, you found our second hint, your next card is hidden, somewhere very tight, but it is
also right in plain sight." Zayn says "okay." Waliyah says "I'm guessing in the couch or the mega
phone." Zayn grabs the one out of the megaphone and says "here it is." Waliyah grins and says "we
might actually finish this escape room." Zayn, laughs and says "let's just hope the last one isn't as
bad as the side effects may include." Waliyah says "yeah, the flinch was the easiest, maybe they
meant it'd be the hardest if you'd never seen the show." Zayn says "yeah, that's gotta be it." Zayn
says "there's no clue, hint please." Timbaland says "it's on the back of the card." Zayn reads the
description for both cards. Zayn says "this site is a non profit organization, often used for petitions.
Our most popular petition is at backslash let James Corden do celebrity noses already!!" Zayn says
"I mean it's true, the real celebrity noses is good." Timbaland says "yeah, no, the gag is funnier."
Waliyah says "this is a site, where fan fictions are born, mainly for, all about one direction. Your
next card will be, in a place that you'd sit, where a person might write, one of their greatest whit's."
Zayn, grabs the card from between the couch cushions. Zayn says "this site is used for spilling the
tea, where people post their stories, of meeting celebrities. Check around, something celebrities
always have done, where you'll find, the next place to like us on." Waliyah finds it under the vanity
chair and says "it's a blue L with a tv behind it. This is our personal favorite, it's where you can
watch live videos, of Ben Winston turning down, brilliant ideas from James Corden. This is the last
site you needed to find, congratulations, you should now have four." Zayn says "okay. let's solve it
then. The real tea dot com, oh that TEA one." Zayn puts the correct site logo in the space. Waliyah
says "all about one direction dot org is probably the fan fiction site." Zayn says "yep. Late late
show dot tv is the L with the tv screen." Zayn puts it into the spot. Waliyah says "so the last one is
bw dot org is this one." Waliyah puts the circle into the spot. Timbaland says "great job, you've
solved the like us on mystery, now please, don't forget to like us on these sites, and also watch your
head as you move ahead." Zayn grabs the microphone and they move onto the next room.

The room is a prop room. Waliyah, gasps, recognizing it as the same room Niall was in. There's a
round table in the middle, with a black table cloth over it, with four yellow circles placed like place
mats. A cue card and the directions are right in the middle. Zayn says "hello dear adventurer, and
welcome to late late escapes, we hope your enjoying this five part escape. This room is called,
carpool karaoke. Your first job is to find, the four picture frames, they're all together and have your
first clue with them." Waliyah grabs the frames that are all wrapped up with a cue card attached to
them. Zayn grabs the card while Waliyah opens the package. Zayn says "your first clue, is this, it's
very simple, just find something you'd read." Waliyah says "okay, weird." Zayn finds a book with
a paper bag cover, with the word story on the front. Zayn, opens it up to find that it's blank, but
there's a cue card in it. Zayn, takes out the cue card and says " you've found your second clue, good
job, you're off to a fantastic start, find something that an R and B artist, would often wear." Zayn
says "chains." Waliyah says "like this?" Zayn says "no, that's a beaded necklace." Zayn finds
plastic chains connected together and says "found the card." Waliyah says "yes!!" Zayn says
"you've found the plastic chains, get it? Probably not, besides you're probably tired of the rhymes,
your next clue is, something you'd wear, on a cold, windy day." Waliyah gasps and says "denim,
obviously." Waliyah finds a denim jacket and says "yes!!" Waliyah grins and hands him the cue
card. Zayn says "your last clue, just kidding, you're still missing an object. Find something hand
held, to look at yourself." Waliyah and Zayn search through the boxes for a hand held mirror. Zayn
finds it in a box of bandanas. Waliyah, grabs something off the other side. Zayn says "good job
mate, now, open the package and make your matches." Waliyah smirks and says "oh you smart
alec, you caught us, it's not what you see in the mirror that counts, it's what's on the inside that truly
matters, because that is what makes you beautiful." Zayn says "I'm kind of lost." Waliyah gasps
 and says "it's all one direction songs!!" Waliyah finds the posters that have their song names,
putting one of each into a frame, before matching the correct object to the song. Zayn says "what's
the chain for?" Waliyah says "James Corden's epic rap for drag me down in car pool karaoke."
Zayn, gasps and says "you're right." Waliyah grins and says "are we done?" Timbaland says
"you're correct, but wait." They giggle. Timbaland says "one last thing before you go, you've
completed the last room, but we need one more number code. What's the count down for the song
once in a lifetime?" Zayn says "one, two, three, four." Timbaland says "correct, how do you even
know that?" Zayn says "I was in one direction, I better know that information." Zayn, winks at his
sister, who is grinning wide and they leave the room to go surprise James.

Chapter End Notes

Liam is next, but you won't be able to read any of these, until Liam's escape room
journey is finished. Also James' point of view, will tie everything together, I should've
done Harry first, because I didn't plan for anyone to freak out, but I realized the
rhymes and the puns, the inside jokes, might irritate someone, so I chose Gemma as
the one.
 Chapter 7

Liam's pov:

Liam starts off the late late escapes with his sister, Nicola. The first room, has a weird set up.
There's wooden boxes everywhere, with locks on the boxes. There's eight hooks, with keys labeled
one through four at the top. There's two keys, for each number, which Liam finds odd. Nicola says
"so will they do start and then we'll start?" Liam says "I guess." Ben calls for them to go and they
start quickly. Nicola reads the directions. Nicola says "hello gov'na, sorry, trying my best to be
British, I guess that's a side effect of working with two British men. See what I did there? I made
my own joke, get it? Probably not, well this is the room, called side effects may include. Your job
is to find the side effects list, but first, you need the name of the problem. Your first hint is, look
under your feet, just kidding, there's nothing there, but you're going to have to go, low to the floor,
to find this card." Liam grins and says "get low, get low." Nicola glares at him and says "oi, you
shit, don't do this the whole late late escapes please." Liam smirks at that, and goes to the ground,
finding the card under the table. Liam reads oh you've found a side effects card, don't fret, you wre
supposed to if you came from hint number one, hang it up and grab key number four. Nicola reads
it, and says "oh, I guess we take the keys, then figure out which boxes it opens." Liam agrees, and
takes boxes one through four with key four, while Nicola works on the last four.

Liam says "I unlocked one." Nicola snorts and keeps trying her boxes, shockingly opening box
number eight. Nicola smirks and says "ah ha, clever shits, thought they could outsmart us." Liam
smirks at that and says "they did, if Tommo was here, he'd just skip everything, open the boxes
with all four keys and not bother to read anything." Nicola says "great idea, I'm stealing that plan."
Nicola grabs all of the keys. Liam squeals and says "no!! That's bad, that's very bad Nicola, we're
not supposed to cheat, this is cheating." Nicola says "do you want to finish the room?" Liam says
"yes, but I don't want to cheat." Nicola snorts and says "fine, we'll do it your way." Liam grins,
reading the card from box one first. Oh you smarty pants, you got us good, this is your second
clue. This card is hidden in plain view, but careful, there might be two. Liam hums at that and
looks around the room, before going to more obvious, but hidden spots. Liam finds a card in the
megaphone in the room, grins and says "congratulations, you've found problem number three, the
obvious key, is key number three." Nicola says "god damn it!!! It's like they knew I'd try to go the
tommo way!! Listen to this Liam." Liam hushes her, and glares because all of the boxes are open,
so he has no idea which is clue three. Nicola says "oh you were sly!! Good job, thinking of just
opening all of the boxes, ps this is the same answer that was attached to clue number one. If you
didn't open all of the boxes, and you've opened this with key number three first, then ignore that
first card, it was for the smart alecs who decied to forgo our adventure, try one more over, that's
the only way." Liam squeals and says "what card was in box number five?" Nicola shrugs and says
"i don't know, great question, just got so excited, I threw them all together." Liam squeals and says
"this is why the Tommo way is bad." Nicola cracks up hysterically and says "listen to this!!! Hello
there dear, this your last problem, you should have four now. Don't fret if you do not, see we
weren't very upfront, each key opens one box, and there are two of each key. Don't panic my dear
friend, just grab both key number twos, and find out which two boxes they open. Hint: it's the most
obvious boxes, don't bother with nine and ten, they're traps you see. You should've already opened
boxes 1, 8, 5 and 6 with key number three or four. Take your time, don't panic, you have plenty of
time." Liam panics and says "we only have three problem cards!! There is no fourth problem card."
Nicola smirks and says "there is a fourth problem, it came from box eight."

Nicola says "but I can't fucking believe that they have boxes nine and ten as a trap!!!" Liam laughs
hysterically at that and says "I'm not surprised." Nicola scoffs at that, flips them off and says "I
already opened the boxes." Nicola reads the next card "there is one last step, before you can leave
this room, we weren't kidding when we said this would be the hardest room to do. You might have
already seen it, on the table, let me explain it now. See our show is live and inorder for James to be
able to hear you when you arrive, we need to give you a microphone. Please don't leave this
microphone behind, if you do, our staff will know that you definitely cheated, because you've read
this card, when they probably didn't. There's a safe in the corner of the room, you need a code to
open it. Your hint is this: in the one direction music video, best song ever, LeeRoy says the line
Niall do the shimmy, what are the numbers that he listed off to the beat right before that?" Liam
grins wide and says "and five, six, seven, eight. And Niall do the shimmy, do the shimmy, and
Zayn piroet and Liam you stay exactly where you are because you are perfect." Liam does the
dance too. Nicola looks horrified, just opening the microphone case, with a smirk. Liam says
"you've cheated so much!!" Nicola snorts and says "well, I found all of the cards, which is what
you didn't let me get to. So it doesn't matter what their cue cards say, I've got everything." Liam
squeals, and keeps the microphone tightly in his hand. Nicola says "there, done, figure it out."
Nicola puts up the answers together and hits the button. Ruth says "incorrect." Nicola growls at her
and says "hint." Ruth says "hint for what?" Nicola says "which one is wrong?" Ruth says "ben, can
I tell them which ones are wrong?" Ben says "what room?" Ruth says "side effects may include."
Ben says "this is the first room!! I expected them to be the last to finish." Ruth snickers and says
"Nicola went for the tommo way." Liam reads the problems and the side effects. Liam puts
apocalypse with end of the world as we know it, one direction reunion with internet breaking,
having a few good pitches to thinking all of your ideas are brilliant, and waiting two years to
release an album with soon equals now. Liam asks if he's correct. Ben winston says "yes, you've
finished first, please exit all rooms you enter today to your left, but do be careful, as you move
between our escape rooms today, because you'll need to watch your head, as you move on a head."
Nicola snorts and says "yeah, right." Once they open the door, there's a tunnel and a fake wall
thing. Nicola says "oh, watch your head if you're going through tunnels." Ruth snickers and hushes
them, asking them to be quiet in the halls, because of the show. They both are much quieter in
every other room after that room.

the next room is celebrity noses, it's so easy, because it's one direction noses. The first nose is
Zayn, the second nose is Harry, the third nose is Louis' dog Clifford, and the fourth nose is Niall's
nose. Liam grins, proud of himself when he's correct. Like us on is very difficult, and they're
slowed down quite a bit, but once they're in the carpool karaoke room, they fly through the
answers, because Liam remembers everything for some reason. Flinch is also very hard, it takes
them a while, and Liam has to run to the stage with the microphone.
 Chapter 8

James' pov:

James does the monologue from the teleprompter, they get a sneak peak at their special guests and
then they go to the break. Ben says "cut!" The cameras cut. Ben says "five minutes until the bit."
James grins and uses those five minutes to rehearse the intro with the band. They grin and do the
right one. James relaxes and says "okay, okay, this one is going to go off without a hitch." Ben says
"and start!!!" James says "what the fuck?" Ben says "sorry, got a head of myself." James snorts and
laughs. Ben finally calls action when they're ready. James says "now here at the late late show, we
have a little segment, that everyone absolutely loves. I smell a good time, you smell a good time,
it's time for celebrity noses!!" Reggie and the band do the correct intro. James goes into his speech
"now every celebrity has a nose, but some noses are more." Ben interrupts "wrong bit." James says
"what?!" Ben says "wrong bit." James says "no, no, this is the bit that we rehearsed, this is the bit
that we've been preparing for all day!!" Ben says "wrong bit." James says "what?! Are you kidding
me?" Ben says "nope." James says "then what bit are we doing?" Ben says "late late escapes."
James snorts and says "none of these guests wanted to do the escape room bit, we're doing
celebrity noses." Ben says "wrong again." James says "what do you mean?" Ben says "I found
someone." James snorts and says "you found a sucker to do late late escapes?" Ben says
"affirmative." James says "well who is it?!" Ben says "it's a surprise." James says "well that's not
fair! Is it?" Ben says "very fair, and you don't get to help." James' jaw drops to the floor. Ben says
"unless my plan falls through, then you're plan B." James says "I'm plan B?" Ben says "correct,
plan b hint giver." James snorts and says "oh lovely." Ben says "restart the segment, James." James
glares, but puts the noses away.

They do the late late escapes introduction. James says "now can we see them going to the escape
room?" Ben says "negative, escape room already in progress." James says "what do you mean it's
already in progress?!" Ben says "it's already in progress, been in progress since I said start." James'
jaw drops open. James closes his mouth, his jaw drops again and he says "what?!" Ben says "I
said, late late escapes, started when I said and start." James says "can we play that footage then?"
Ben does play the footage of him saying start. James says "oh, I'm so confused." Ben says "time's
up, time to go to a break." James sends them to a break, promising to be right back with their first
special guest.

Someone screams in the studio and James panics, asking if everyone's okay, Ben informs him
security is on it. James says "okay." Someone screams again and Ben has security figure out who
is screaming in the studio. James thanks him. Ben says "James, dial 4." James dials four. Their
phone rings. Gemma says "finally!! Let me out of this damn escape hell hole." James doesn't
recognize the voice says "hello special guest, I don't recognize your voice." Ben says "tell her the
door isn't locked, that she can leave if she wants, but it means her partner will have to continue all
on his own." James says "but don't worry dear, I'm being told in my ear, that your door isn't locked.
You can leave if you want, but then your partner, will be stuck, solving the room, all on their own."
Gemma says "tell Ben, I'm not getting paid enough for this." Ben says "she's not being paid at all."
James says "Ben said you're not getting paid at all." Gemma says "exactly!!!" James hangs up on
her, laughing at that. Ben says "this escapes was too much for someone." James says "can we see
the woman?" Ben says "negative." James has to hold in his squeals, he knows now that his special
guest is Harry, the woman was Gemma Styles.

James is actually stunned, that his first guest is Louis Tomlinson. James fails to hold in his squeals.
The next person is Niall horan, followed by Harry styles. The audience and James scream with
thier arrivals. Zayn Malik walks in, next and James gasps in shock. The audeince screams and
cries, when the four boys hug eachother. Liam Payne runs out last saying "hello, hello." The
audience starts chanting one direction, one direction. Liam sees the boys, gasps in shock and grins,
hugging them. James squeals, hushes everyone and says "let me talk please." They all are silent.
James starts crying, sniffles and says "BEN!! You surprised me, by doing my idea for a late late
escapes one direction reunion!!!" The boys are shocked by this.

Louis' pov:

The boys and band, all look to him for what they're going to do. Louis grins, greeting the crowd
and telling everyone surprise. Louis says "let's start with once in a lifetime, sound good boys?"
They all agree with him, and perform once in a life time. Louis never imaged the band getting back
together as a surprise like this, but he guesses maybe that's for the best. They end up performing,
three songs and then Louis says "group cuddle, come on lads." Louis, Liam, Harry, Niall and Zayn
hug eachother tightly. Louis says "welcome home, thank you for waiting for us." Someone
screams "18 months my ass!!!" Louis smirks and says "18 months my ass is right, you clowns
really thought we'd come back after exactly 18 months?" Niall laughs hysterically and says "since
when have we ever been good with dates, time, planning things?" Louis says "oi, we're very good
at planning shit." Liam says "only when it's pranks, Louis, only when it's pranks." Louis grins,
hugging his boys. The next day, they do a bunch of radio interviews, talking about the shock
reunion, with all of them admitting that even they had no idea that it was a reunion. Harry gives all
the credit to James Corden and begs Ben Winston to actually let James do celebrity noses, like
everyone wants, instead of making it a never ending gag that never actually happens. Louis says "I
mean the noses were pretty good, and difficult to figure out, props to James really." They all agree
with that. Their new record label, wants them to consider seriously getting back together, doing
interviews and more. All five of them agree to get back together and they start working on their
sixth album right away.

Niall's pov:

At the band meeting, after they decide to start working on their sixth album, they all shockingly
bring a ton of one direction songs to the table. Niall says "I thought I was going to be the only one
bringing songs." Zayn laughs at that and says "no mate, I couldn't not write songs that sounded
perfect for five voices." Niall smirks wickedly, video taping their session, with all of them sharing
their one direction songs that they created while away from each other. The end up making a
documentary, talking about everything that they've been through as a group, the chaos that was
making five albums, in five years, non stop touring and revisiting places, just the five of them, like
they've always wanted to do. Niall feels at home, and happy, he feels hole again. No one will ever
take Niall's crown, as the biggest directioner on the planet and he voices that to the boys, who
agree that he's the biggest directioner, hands down. Niall grins, smirks and says "Ireland is the best
country in the world hands down." Louis says "no, absolutely not." Harry says "not today Niall!!
Not today." Zayn snickers and says "one direction, is the best country, in the world." Harry laughs
hysterically at that, slapping his knees in laughter and says "yes, I agree to that." Niall smirks,
taking photos and posting them to Instagram, of them just laughing about, as well as the time, four
am. Niall posts next made in the am, every favorite conversation, always made in the am. Zayn's
talking out of his ass for sure. Someone tell Zayn that one direction isn't a country please, thank
you.

Chapter Summary

All of the cards, since I don't remember if I went through all of them with all of the
boys.

Room: Side effects may include. Set up: 10 wooden boxes with locks on them. Eight hooks,

time visiting with us, I can tell, because you grabbed this card first, when you should know, that
this is the exact size of paper that all of our clues are on. Directions: ah dear friend, something that
you're truly going to love, this room is called, celebrity noses. Now, I know what you're thinking,
this segment has to be a gag, well I can assure you that it's not, we really had those problems, now
it's up to you, to match the celebrity noses to their description. Oh and one more thing, the noses
are already on the wall, all you have to do, is Velcro the right name based on the description. (hint
hunter plays the recordings.) Recording number one: James says "now this nose is from a famous
man, from a very famous point in his career, as you can see, there's this one strand of hair, right
here. There's a story behind this out of." James gets cut off. (correct answer: Zayn). Recording
number two: James says "this famous boybander, is often know, for squirting water, right out of
his mouth, and showing off his nose." James gets cut off. (correct answer: Harry). Recording
number three: James says "this famous dog, isn't famous from a show, but famous because of who
he knows, his owner is none other than Louis Tomlinson." (correct answer: Clifford). Recording
number four: James says "this nose, belongs to a cheeky Irish lad, who loves to sing with his

Directions: Hello dear adventurer, and welcome to late late escapes, we hope your enjoying this
five part escape. This room is called, carpool karaoke. Your first job is to find, the four picture
frames, they're all together and have your first clue with them. Correct answer: both sets of picture
frames, but the clue card is with the wrapped ones. First clue: your first clue, is this, it's very
simple, just find something you'd read. Correct answer: notebook with paper bag cover, with the
word Story on the front, blank inside, with a cue card inside, like a book mark to hold your place.
Second clue: you've found your second clue, good job, you're off to a fantastic start, find something
that an R and B artist, would often wear. Correct answer: yellow plastic chains with the cue card
attached to them, found in the prop box on the second shelf down all of the way at the end. Clue
number three: you've found the plastic chains, get it? Probably not, besides you're probably tired of
the rhymes, your next clue is, something you'd wear, on a cold, windy day. Correct answer: denim
jacket, it's in one of the prop boxes on the second shelf down, a box away from where the yellow
plastic chains were found. Fake outs: wind breaker and a fleece jacket. Clue number four (found
inside the denim jacket): your last clue, just kidding, you're still missing an object. Find something
hand held, to look at yourself. Correct answer: Hand held mirror, found in prop box on the second
shelf from the bottom, third from the top, the one right below the denim jacket, buried in bandanas.
Clue number four (taped to the front of the mirror): good job mate, now, open the package and
make your matches. Clue number 5 (taped on the back of the mirror): oh you smart alec, you
caught us, it's not what you see in the mirror that counts, it's what's on the inside that truly matters,
because that is what makes you beautiful. Solve: have to find the song titles, then put them into the
empty picture frames, before matching the item to the correct song, once correct, can move on.

Room: flinch. Directions: hello there, welcome to late late escapes, this room is definitely hard,
probably thee hardest one to solve. All of your hints, are on a recording device, you can play it, as
much as you'd like. The goal of this room, is to weed out the fruit, because some of these, simply
just will not work. Ask for a clue, if you can't figure it out. Remember, time is running out. All four
recordings are on a recording device that's in the room. Recording number one: Louis says "oh
Liam, come on mate, you have to be kidding me." Correct answer: Louis complaining about
avocadoes on toast on goggle box. Recording number two: Harry says "let's call the whole thing
off!!" Correct answer: Harry Styles and James Corden making an inside joke after Harry calls
Tomatoes, tamatoes. Recording number three: James says "oh that'll really make a splash!!"
Correct answer: oranges. Fourth recording: A girl says "when life gives you this fruit, throw it
back and say I just want to meet one direction." Correct answer: Lemons. To solve: all they have to
do is find the large paper with the word and the picture of the fruit, Velcro to wall, once correct,
can move on.

Hint hunter's final job, before they can leave their last room: one last thing before you go, you've
completed the last room, but we need one more number code. What's the count down for the song
once in a lifetime? Answer: one, two, three, four. Then them leaving to surprise James.
