Managing Securiti users

Securiti administrators can add, update, and deactivate users. See Understanding Securiti user types
and roles[managing-securiti-users/understanding-securiti-user-types-and-roles.html] for information about
user types and user roles and their permissions.

 Note

For audit trail purposes, you cannot delete Securiti users, you can only deactivate them.

 Adding an individual user

1 In Securiti, click the jewel at the upper left corner of the page, then in the upper right corner
choose Dashboard View.

2 On the bottom row of tiles, click Settings.

3 From the Settings menu, choose Organizational > Users.

4 Near the upper right corner of the user list, click +.

5 Use the Create User panel to enter the user information as shown below. All fields except
phone number are required.

Configure to suit.
Last
Name

Enter the user email address. For an internal user, the address must be within
Email your primary or secondary domain. For a partner user, the address must be
Address within the primary or secondary domain of the managed services organization's
Securiti partner account.

Configure to suit.

Choose a role. See Understanding Securiti user types and roles[managing-securiti-

Choose either Internal or Partner. See Understanding Securiti user types and
roles[managing-securiti-users/understanding-securiti-user-types-and-roles.html].

 Note

In order for you to add a partner user:

The managed services organization must have a Securiti
account of type "partner."
The partner user must have an active user or admin account
on the managed services organization's Securiti partner
account.

For a user of role User, choose an access profile that allows the user access to
the Securiti modules they need to do their work. See Using access profiles for
role-based access control[managing-securiti-users/using-access-profiles-for-role-
based-access-control.html].
User
Access For a user of role Module Owner, choose an access profile that allows the user
Profile access to the Securiti modules for which they are to have administrator
privileges.

Securiti automatically assigns the Administrator access profile to users of role


Admin, DPO, and Operator.

6 Click Save.
