production?

How regularly is the equipment maintained,

calibrated, regularly inspected?

6.3.4 Structural design process

Are you involved in, or take any responsibility for the
structural design process?

If YES, how is compliance with the design maintained?

What procedures are identified in the FPC manual for

checking calculations, and the individuals responsible
for the design?

What resources and software calculation, design,

CL-80-03 Rev 1 Page 2 of 5
verification packages are used as part of the design
process?

6.3.5 Constituent products used in manufacture

How is constituent product used in the manufacturing
process reviewed and is there a written procedure for
this?

What is the procedure for checking and recording that

constituent products conform to the specification and
that they are correctly used in component
manufacture?

Does this procedure include a requirement for the

traceability of constituent products as required per EN
1090-2/-3 for the applicable Execution Class (EXC)?

6.3.6 Component specification

Who is responsible for the preparation of the
component specification is: you or the purchaser, or
do both contribute to its preparation?

Do you have a written inspection and test plan for

checking and recording that manufactured
components conform to their component specification?

6.3.7 Product evaluation

What procedures have been established to ensure that
the declared values and classes of all of the
characteristics are maintained?

Is the means of production control of characteristics

and the sampling methods for a component or family
to be evaluated in accordance with I.S EN 1090-1
Table 2?

6.3.8 Non-conforming products

How are non-conforming products dealt with and is
this documented in a procedure?

How are such events recorded and are these records

kept for the period defined in the written procedures?

Do you conduct repair/rectification on non-conforming

products, and if so, are descriptions of appropriate
procedures available at all workstations where this is
performed?

Complaints
How are customer complaints received and responded
to and is this documented in a procedure?

Does the system include appropriate measures to

avoid or correct these deficiencies?
