To introduce the operation of thermal, nuclear, hydel and gas power generating stations.
To familiarize with solar and wind power generation.

Describe the different components of a thermal power station.
Identify different components of a nuclear reactor.
Illustrate the working principle and operation of hydel power plants.
Identify different components of a gas power station.
Illustrate the working principle of solar and wind power generation.
