1.1 Untrusted MAC OS Device Requirement

The table below provides a breakdown of the prerequisites that must be in place for Full VPN
connectivity to be established.

Categorised as an Untrusted Device (MacOS)


require that the following device prerequisites are fully met for a VPN connection to be permitted
Bank/Non-Bank Issued Device For MACOS based devices the following device prerequisites must be enabled or applied:
Non-Domain Joined 1. MacOS Version Big Sur or greater
(Untrusted) 2. Native MacOS firewall enabled
3. File Vault Disk Encryption Enabled
4. Cybereason EDR Agent installed v19.1 or later
5. Antivirus Software installed

1.2 Software Prerequisites for a Citrix VPN Connection using Citrix SSO Plugin

Criteria Explanation
VPN Access A prerequisite to obtain VPN access is to have a valid and active domain account (e.g a123456 / c123456 account)
created on the Standard Bank domain. Should you not have a domain account, one should be requested via the
MyAccess process.
Once you have a domain account VPN access can be obtained by following the steps documented in Section 2 of this
document.

Software Prerequisites For MACOS based devices the following minimum device prerequisites must be installed from the App Store:
MAC OS
Citrix SSO – V 1.3.11

Certificate Prerequisite
MAC OS
Click here to obtain the ssorasprod certificate.

Install the certificate as a system keychain in your Keychain Access app and ensure that it always trusted.
Install the SSORASPROD
certificate on your device:

Download the Certificate. –


PASSWORD is 1234

Always Trust the Certificate

Citrix SSO Software Prerequisite Install the Citrix SSO application.


MAC OS Launch the application.
Use the URL: https://ssorasprod.standardbank.co.za/

Follow steps below to Install the


Citrix SSO software on your
device:

Launch Applications and Click on


Search, Type “Citrix SSO”

Click Connect, to add the URL

Click Allow
Click Connect
A new window will launch prompting you for your Azure MFA, please enter your details and approve the sign-on
A window will launch requesting the linking of the ssorasprod certificate,

Click Ok.

Should the login process stall, quit the Citrix SSO application and start it up again. This occurs at initial launch of the
application due to the requested prompts.
