O Sacrament most Holy,

O Sacrament Divine,
All praise and all thanksgiving, 3 time
Be every moment Thine!

Be still and know that I am God. God dwells in our midst, in the Blessed Sacrament of the altar. He
remains among us until the end of the world. Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament has His hands full
of graces and He is ready to bestow them on anyone who asks for them”. Let us plead with the Lord
to reawaken in us the joy of his presence. Lord, help us to dwell in holiness in your presence.

Let Jesus present in the Blessed Sacrament speak to our hearts. It is he who is the true answer of life
that we seek. He stays here with us: he is God with us. Seek him without tiring, welcome him without
reserve, love him without interruption: today, tomorrow, forever!”

Hymn O sweet sacrament we thee adore (Praise the Lord Hymn No 10 page 7)

“To be grateful is to recognize the Love of God in everything He has given us - and He has given us
everything. Every breath we draw is a gift of His love, every moment of existence is a grace, for it
brings with it immense graces from Him.”

Life is a journey and not a destination and at each stage in life there are entry and exit points.
Though each leave-taking is painful, it opens up the potential for growth.

Dear Sr Prerna and Sr Gracy we thank God for your lives and for giving us a chance to live with you
and share with each other the joys and sorrows. We are grateful for your extending hands rendered
to the community whenever the need called for, though it was meetings, profession, church work or
daily activities of communities. We thank you for your contribution during past two years of your
study.

As you move from here to your new community we entrust you into the care of

We entrust you into the care of our heavenly Father and pray for
Happiness and joy, to be ahead of you,
Wisdom and guidance, to be beside you,
Grace and truth, be behind you supporting you to move forward with courage and constancy and may
you always experience the abiding love and presence of God wherever you go.

Song 10,000 Reason

Reading Gospel Matthew 10:26-33

Reflection
Today, after choosing the twelve, Jesus sends them to preach and instructs them. He
warns them about the persecution they may likely suffer and advises them on their
attitude: “Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather, be
afraid of the one who can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna” (Mt 10,28). The
narrative of this Sunday develops the theme of persecution in a style reminiscent of the
last Beatitude of the Sermon on the Mount.

Jesus' speech is paradoxical: on the one hand, he tells us “Do not be afraid”, and he
presents us with a Providential Father who cares even for sparrows; on the other hand,
he does not tell us that this Father will save us from troubles, rather the opposite: if we
are his followers, we are likely to share his fate and that of the other prophets.
So, how can we understand this? God's protection is his ability to give life to our person
(our soul), and to provide happiness even in tribulations and persecutions. He is the one
who can give us the joy of His Kingdom —which we can already enjoy here— and is our
hope of eternal life: “Everyone who acknowledges me before others I will acknowledge
before my heavenly Father”

Trusting that God will be with us in difficult times gives us courage to speak Jesus' words
in the light moreover, it gives us the energy we need to do good, so that through our
works people can give glory to our heavenly Father. “Do everything for God and for that
happy and eternal life our Savior deigns to grant us in Heaven.”

Hymn L47 pg 267

Hymn Audio How deep the Father love for us

As a families, let us pray for Manipur. …. Silence…

1. Pray for peace to prevail. There has been a lot of violence (from both sides) which has caused
loss of property and life. We pray that God would bring peace between the different ethnic
communities and that those in power would intervene wisely.

2. Pray for people affected by the conflict. Several families are grieving because they have lost
loved ones. Several families have been displaced because their houses have been destroyed. And
several families are living in fear for their lives. In such times we pray for God’s comfort and peace,
and also for churches and the government to provide aid to those who are suffering.

3. Pray for Christians to stand firm. The attacks against churches have understandably caused
Christians to become fearful. And it has been especially challenging for Meitei Christians, who face
opposition from Kukis and also from non-Christian Meiteis. In such times, we pray that Christians
would not compromise, but instead would “stand firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side
for the faith of the gospel, and not be frightened in anything by their opponents”
4. Pray for Christians to be peacemakers. In the sermon on the Mount, our Lord
declared, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God” (Matthew 5:9). As
Christians, who follow in the footsteps of the Prince of Peace, are called to be agents of peace
wherever God has placed us. Although the situation is very emotionally-charged, may God raise
Christians (on both sides) who would bring glory to the gospel of God’s grace by being agents of
peace.
Lord, we remember today the people who are feeling that no one cares,  those who see their
failures, those think of their problem, people who are heavily burdened, those who are living in fear,
those who feel abandoned like a sparrow that has fallen to the ground while a hundred others are
flying overhead.
be with them, enlighten them with our Holy Spirit that every hair on their heads has been carefully
counted, they are precious and they are yours.

Our Father.
Conclude hymn no 4 from Praise the Lord page 3
We ask God’s blessing upon you as we lift our hearts in prayer. Let us pray.
Blessed are you, O God,
for you have created the wide and wonderful world in which we live.
We praise you for your constant care
for those who have trusted you in ages past,
who journeyed in faith to new lands of promise.
We trust that now you will hold N___________
securely in your hands as they, too,
follow/s your call to a new place.
May they take with them
hearts filled with your love and grace,
that those with whom they live and work
may see in  them the face of Jesus Christ.
Bless them that they may be a blessing.
Guide them to a new church home,
where they may continue to grow
in grace, in Spirit, and in truth;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

May God’s blessing follow you all as you find new journeys to travel. May you walk safely
along the pathways of your dreams.
May his gentle hand guide the decisions you will make and the passions that you follow.
May your hearts and lives always reflect his love and truth,
And may hope be a light within you that you carry into each new day.
strong>Amen.
Hymn of Adoration.
Silence…..
Lord Jesus Christ, true God, and true man, on the eve before You suffered and died for my
salvation, You desired to remain with us. Hence, You instituted the Sacrament of Your most
holy Body and Blood in the Eucharist. Thank You for this wonderful gift! Thank You for
remaining with us. Thank You for this perpetual remembrance of Your unfathomable love.
In Scripture, we hear, “For the bread of God is that which comes down from heaven and
gives life to the world” (John 6:33). Christ is that true bread which nourishes and feed us as
he comes to us in the sacrament of the altar and in the power of his Spirit day by day. May
we then, the Body of Christ in the world, give thanks to God for Christ’s loving presence
amongst us.
Come, adore this wondrous presence;
Bow to Christ, the source of grace.
Here is kept the ancient promise
Of God’s earthly dwelling place.
Sight is blind before God’s glory,
Faith alone may see that face.
Glory be to God the Father,
Praise to his co-equal Son,
Adoration in the Spirit,
Bond of love, in Godhead one.
Blest be God by all creation
Joyously while ages run.
You are here before us. You are truly here in the form of the Sacred Host. We believe, our
Lord and God, that You are present here now. Lord and Creator, we adore You. We worship
You in the Most Blessed Sacrament. Allow us to see You through the eyes of faith and
confidence. Because of Your inexhaustible love for all, You remain in this Sacrament day and
night. You stay here, calling and waiting for us to visit, pray, and spend some moments in
awe of Your divine presence.
Most loving Jesus, we place ourselves in Your presence. We lay down all our fears and
worries. We offer You everything that we went through today. Stay with us, dear Lord. Stay
with us and never let us be separated from Your love. We adore You, Jesus, with all of our
beings. We are heartily sorry for offending Your limitless goodness so many times. We strive
to never again offend You in the future with Your grace.
In a moment of silence, let us join with all the heavenly hosts in that spirit of gratitude and
adoration which is the true response of God’s creation to God’s overwhelming love that
created us, that redeemed us, and that sustains us day by day.

Gospel of Today
Reflection
Nine year old Bobby arrived late for the football match. The game had already started.
The coach, obviously upset as Bobby was a key player, shouted at him: "Why are you so late?"
"I had to decide", replied Bobby, "Today is a Sunday. And I had to decide between going to Church
and going for this football game"
"Then what did you do" asked the coach curiously
"I tossed a coin to decide" said Bobby.
"Tossed a coin?" asked the surprised coach, "But that shouldn't have taken too long."
"Hmmm…" continued Bobby, "Well… I had to toss the coin 35 times!"
(Little Bobby kept on tossing the coin…till he got what he wanted - i.e. to go for the football match!!)
How often are we too like Li'l Bobby, when it comes to making choices and priorities, especially in our
spiritual life…We get confused in choosing the correct choices. We get puzzled in preferring the
proper priorities. We sometimes even seek to justify our choices and argue to validate our priorities
As a result, we often end up….
… in complaining and cribbing
… in back biting and bickering
… in criticism and calumny
The Gospel of the Day is a lesson in making the proper priorities and the correct choices in life.
Christian life is a warfare…with a constant question posing us: "Are you ready to make the right
choice - the choice for Jesus and His Kingdom?"
The Gospel of Day is an invitation by Jesus to follow Him - by the "narrow gate"…
… and to always make a choice for Him!
Jesus says, “Enter by the narrow gate… for the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life,
and those who find it are few” (Mt 7: 13-14)
The Sermon on the Mount continues with Jesus presenting the wonderful message of the Kingdom of
God and its radical requirements.
One of the key aspects in the Sermon on the Mount is the demand made on the part of the disciple to
“make a choice”
 One has to radically “make a choice” for the Kingdom of God.
 One has to stay committed to this “choice” that is taken and live it to the fullness.
The discipleship to which Jesus calls is radical…it requires an honest and wholehearted surrender of
oneself to God's Will … it demands a complete and undivided focus on Him and His Mission
A Christian either walks on the road to life…… or walks on the road to destruction!
There is no third alternative!
It is this “choice” that will determine whether our entry to eternity…Eternal condemnation – is through
the “wide gate” or Eternal life – is through the “narrow gate”.
Jesus says that it is easy to pass through the wide gate…
 All those who take life very casually and without any responsibility
 All those who are content to make life “merry” and just “live life to the max”
 All those who fail to respond to God’s Grace and deny having a life in Him But this will lead to doom
and condemnation! To pass through the narrow gate is hard…
 All those who make a choice to live according to the teachings of the Lord
 All those who boldly seek to proclaim the Kingdom by their faithful and holy lives
 All those who constantly hold on to the Lord despite hardships and difficulties in life
But this will lead to joy and eternal life!
Christian life is indeed a warfare…
… with a constant question posing us: "Are you ready to make the right choice - the choice for Jesus
and His Kingdom?"
What is our answer?
