ADA Vantage Data Communication between


between SV 5.6.5 to SV 5.1.1

Start configuration from SV 5.6.5 SCADA Vantage Server.

Go to > Computer
omputer Management and give the Administrator right to ABBOpcSvc user.

Go to> System Property and Select advance> Click to setting


Go to DEP (Data Execution Prevention) Turn on DEP for essential windows program and services only.
Go to> DECOMCNFG
COMCNFG setting and open>
open my computer property.

Go to >COM security> and add the below users access in both side (edit
( limits, edit default)

Users (ABBOpcSvc)(Administrator)(
(Administrator)( Administrators)(SYSTEM)(Service)(Network)(ANOYMOUS LOGON)(Distributed
COM Users)(INTERACTIVE)(EVERYONE)
Go to> OpcEnum property >General
General (Authentication Level >Connect)
>
OpcEnum> Security > (Customize-Edit)

Give the access all below users.

Users (ABBOpcSvc)(Administrator)(
(Administrator)( Administrators)(SYSTEM)(Service)(Network)(ANOYMOUS LOGON)(Distributed
COM Users)(INTERACTIVE)(EVERYONE)

Go to> Freelance OPCServer


(Location> add Machine Name)

Security> (Customize -Edit)


Edit) give the below users access.

COM Users)(INTERACTIVE)(EVERYONE)
Identity> (Which user account do you want to use to run this application
application?

User Administrator
Go to gpedit.msc >Windows Setting>Security
Setting> Setting>Local Policies>Security Options>Network access: Let Everyone
permissions apply to anonymous users>Enable

Go to computer management > and create a user (ABBSVsvc)


( and give them any password.

Click to run (SVCpwReset.exe) > Next > restart the computer.

Give the access to all below users.

Go to > SCADAVantage Explorer > Communications > Route > configure New SCADA server IP address.
After completion all above configurations > Restart the computer.

Note: - Ensure Alias ID (Device ID) should be same in both SYSTEM (Old and New) SCADA Vantage RTU device.
