PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
I am a highly driven individual with a keen interest in the field of data analytics and a passion for
Statistics. I have achieved excellent grades at GCSE level alongside grades at A-level of a high standard. I
wish to work in an IT / Technology role, and to obtain experience with Analytics tools such as SQL and
Tableau. My long-term aspiration is to become a Senior Data Analyst or to specialise in a similar role
within the Analytics industry. Currently, I am working to develop my problem-solving skills and
Programming knowledge in order to become successful in the field of AI and Data Science.

PROFILE OF SKILLS
 Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Undertook an intermediate level Excel course that
delivered tutorials on Excel Functions and Tables; applied to customer data. Includes use of Descriptive
Statistics through the ‘Analysis ToolPak’, as well as Histograms and Correlation.
 Presenting – Presented a slideshow to staff during a work experience placement at AXA Insurance.
Required discussion of tasks completed under supervision, reflecting on the interaction with members
present regarding job specific roles and the importance of taking on a collaborative learning approach.
 Problem solving – abilities in mathematics and logical reasoning; involving use of online courses.
 Academic research – Class assignment involving a detailed and Methodical investigation into an
application of study. Illustrated the ability to Cite & Reference relevant papers or reports on the
internet. Work was presented through use of PowerPoint.
 Organisation – Ability to prioritise and work efficiently in order to structure tasks and complete
assignments within a given deadline.

Company name: AXA Insurance

- Utilised IT software that analysed customer complaints by forming key phrases that the system
could detect through voice recognition. Required attention to detail for filtering responses in the
correct form and context. Systems involved Complaints management and shift scheduling.
- Shadowed a claims handler and explored how competence in numerical skills, decision making,
and analytical thinking had to be demonstrated through giving customers advice on the claims
process and checking against the claims to ensure valid pay-outs were made at an agreed limit.
- Interviewed members of the company in order to establish the key skills and responsibilities they
had manifested whilst working for AXA. Developed interpersonal skills and grew confidence in
building working relationships within a professional environment.
- Participated in team building exercises, including the organisation of a corporate event.
- Learned about a number of company objectives and health and safety protocols.

- I was team-leader of a selected team during a work placement at an Insurance firm (AXA
