Hypothesis Questions - Ramu

1. Concave mirrors are not used as rear view mirrors in vehicles because they produce an inverted image that would be difficult for the driver to interpret correctly in terms of the positions of other vehicles. 2. The focal length of a concave mirror does not change when the mirror is completely immersed in water or broken into pieces, because the focal length depends on the radius of curvature of the mirror, not the surrounding medium. 3. Using a concave lens instead of a convex lens in a microscope would result in a virtual, diminished image rather than a magnified real image, because light rays diverge rather than converge when passing through a concave lens.

HYPOTHESIS QUESTIONS

1. What happens when Concave mirror used as a rear view mirror ?

A ) Concave mirrors are not used as rare view because they will give an inverted image of the

vehicles behind and for the driver it will be tough to Identify the right position of the image

coming from behind.

2. When you completely immersed concave mirror in water. Is its focal length is changes

or not ? Give Reason ?

A ) Focal length does not changed.

Because of the focal length of a given mirror does not depends upon the surrounding

medium.

3. when a Concave mirror is broken into small pieces . Is the piece focal length is changes

or not ? Give Reason ?

A ) There is a no change in its focal length.

Because of Focal length changes when there is change in the radius of curvature

of the mirror.

4. What would happens when spherical mirrors not discovered ?

1. It is very difficult to make a solar cooker.

2. Car headlights would be different.

3. The dentists can't check the teeth.

4. Rear view mirrors would be different.

5. It is very difficult to make a security systems.

6. It is very difficult to make a Microscope.

7. Street lamps would be different.

5. What would happen if a Chemical equations are not balanced ?

If a chemical equation is not balanced it does not follows the law of conversation of mass.

( OR )
The No.of atoms present in reactants and products would be different .
6. What are the effects of neutralization reaction do not take place ?

1. The survival of aquatic life in such rivers becomes difficult.

2. Causes of Acid rains .

3. Tooth decay does n't prevent .

4. Many people suffering from stomach pain.

5.Plants does n't grow healthy.

6. We can't make a salts.

7. What happens when water is added to Acid or Base ?

Heat releases suddenly and the mixture split in to our skin which couse burns.

The glass container may also break.

8. When you completely immersed convex lens in water. Is its focal length is changes

or not ? Give Reason ?

The focal length of a Convex lens changes .

The focal length of a Convex lens depends upon surrounding medium.

9. What would happens when Lenses are not discovered ?

1. It is very difficult to make a microscope.

2. Myopic eye defect would not be corrected.

3. Hyprometropic eye defect would not be corrected.

4. we would not be able to observe microorganisms, cells, etc.

5. People would have no idea that infections were caused by bacteria.

10. What happens when ciliary muscles are not working ?

Our eye lens does n't changes its focal length. Eye defects causes .
11. What happens when Periodic table not discovered ?

It is very difficult to identify the Group , Period , Block , Metalic nature and Non - Metalic

nature of the elements .

12. What would happens when Moeller chart is not discovered ?

It is very difficult to write the electronic configuration of elements which have more

atomic number.

13. What happens when Corrosion not Prevented ?

If we do not prevent corrosion of metal then it will destroy the metal over time and can

become a safety hazard to human health and the environment

14. Guess and write what happens if there is no oxidation in nature ?

1.People could not survive

2. .plants can't grow.

15. What happens when Potential differences is not there in conductor ends ?

The Uniform electric field does not generated in through out the conductor . So the

electrons in random motion . charge must be Zero.

16. What happens if a high melting point conductor is used as a fuse in house-hold

connections?

Now if use a fuse wire of high melting point the during short circuit it wouldn't melt down

easly and would cause the damage to the appliances and may result in fire.

17. What happens, if concave lens is used as magnifier instead of convex lens in microscope ?

We can observe that in a concave lens, the light beam coming from the source diverges,
so the image formed will be virtual and diminished.
