INTRODUCTION:

Education is the process of training and instruction. It is a process which promotes intelligence,
enables an individual to be industrious and ensure progress. Education is the process of
facilitating learning or acquisition of knowledge, skill, values, beliefs and habits .Education is
very important tool for everyone to succeed life. And it helps to something different in life.
Education frequently takes place under the guidance of education ,but learns may also educate
themselves .education can take place in formal or informal settings and any experience that has a
formative effect on the way one thinks ,feels ,or acts may be considered educational .Education
gives us knowledge of the world around us and changes it into something better .it develops in us
a perspective of looking at life .It Helps us build opinions and have punt of view on things that
gives knowledge.

Education is commonly divided formally into such stages as preschool or

kindergarten primary school, secondary school and then college, university or apprenticeship. A
right to education has been recognized by some governments and the united nation .The concept
of education is dynamic and also changes according to the need of time and situation .It is also
influenced by the goals, ideals and aspiration of the nations

Primary education is also elementary education, is for children in kindergarten

through sixth grade. Primary education is typically the first stage of formal education, coming
after preschool and before secondary education .primary education usually takes place in primary
school or elementary school .In some country education is followed by middle school, an
educational primary school gives children’s growth a significant boost .Primary education
provides students with a basic understanding of various subjects as well as the skills they will use
throughout their lives.

Primary school is where students between the first and eighth standard receive a
general education in the basic academic essentials ,such as reading ,writing ,math moral science
and social studies .Primary Education prepares young learners for middle and high school
through educational curriculum that identifies as the grade levels progress .While Primary
education saves a beneficial purpose to students ,problems with elementary education exist within
school systems.

1.1 Statement of the problem

Education gas become increasingly important in providing competitive edge for
individual ,regions ,society ,and the nation as whole in global market .The government is
promising that all children between the ages of 6and 14 will be fully educated .However,
according to the world bank ,While 95% of Indian Attends primary school, only 40% go
on to secondary school .These is the problem of research Why it is happening in many
organizations offers solution in improving elementary education in India .

One important problem regarding elementary educations poverty and

ignorance .Many parents , Instead of getting their children admitted in schools, try to
introduce them to some trade at a tender age in order to supplement their income.

The Poor parent in order to supplement their income induct their children into
family business at an early age ,and either they do not send the children to school at all or
make them leave school before completing the full elementary education .In this way
wastage of money and stagnation prove a hurdle in the way of achieving the goal.

1.6 Review of Literature

Research’’ the role of education in facilitating social and economic progress is well accepted
today .The literacy rate among Muslims in 2001 was for below the national average education
contributes to economic growth .Education is a crucial social factor that initiates the process of
social , economic and cultural development of communities .Muslim girls are among the least
educated section of Indian society .The constitution of India in Article 15 (1) on right to equality
provides the basic policy framework that enshrims the vision of girls ’ education and the sprit in
which their education is to be provided.

namely Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Haryana ,Assam ,Karnataka ,Tamilnadu ,Maharashtra and
Kerala ,to identify areas of intervention for universalizing primary Education among girls with
focus on women quality and empowerment.

school, gender difference and school functioning .The present study (ASER) was conducted to
investigate the status of education in rural India .ASER 2005 should that enrollment levels in
schools were very high in almost all states; however basic reading and arithmetic skills need to
be improved .A solid function in elementary classes was essential to build up a base for learning.
Aggarwal and chugh sunita (2003) in learning achievement of slum children in Delhi, New
Delhi ’’highlighted that basic education is a fundamental right and recently 86th constitutional
Amendment was enacted so that all children can receive good quality basic education.

Reddy (2001) studied primary education in Manipur ; the study was carried out in two districts
of Manipur as a part of the evolution of operation blackboard scheme .Most of the primary
