TEACHING PLAN FOR COMMUNITY ACQUIRED PNEUMONIA DESCRIPTION OF THE LEARNER/S: Mother of a eight month old , Dave Lambinicio,

Ilokano, Roman Catholic and is currently residing at Sta. Teresa, Tubao, La Union, who just came in due to cough and dyspnea. Three weeks PTA, The patient had a non productive coughing episodes and dyspnea as noted by the mother. 2 days PTA , cough and dyspnea is now accompanied by fever. The condition of the patient persisted and prompted the mother to bring the patient into the La Union Medical Center, thus admission in this institution. The mother was very cooperative to the interventions being done to his child, hence this teaching plan would be beneficial and meaningful. LEARNING NEED: Knowledge aboutcommunity acquired pneumonia, risk factors, complication, signs and symptoms, importance of treatments, ways that a mother can do in preventing pneumonia and nutritious foods for strong immunity. LEARNING DIAGNOSIS: Knowledge Deficit on community acquired pneumonia management related to lack of information. GOAL: The mother will be able to acquire knowledge, skills, and attitude regarding pneumonia management. TEACHING TIME MATERIALS STRATEGIES ALLOTTED FOR METHODS AND ACTIVITIES After 20 minutes of health teaching, the mother will be able to: 1.
