They also don't like to shop at department stores because they are too big and the salespeople aren't
friendly. They like to shop at flea markets. Flea markets are usually outside, so Brad and Erica get fresh
air as they walk around and enjoy the nice weather. Also, prices are usually reasonable at flea markets.

Today, Erica wants to buy a beautiful bracelet from a man at the market, but she doesn't have enough
money.

"Do you take credit cards?" she asks.

"No. We only take cash," the man answers.

Erica decides not to buy the bracelet because she doesn't have enough cash. Brad says that they can
return the next weekend to buy the bracelet.

"Well, if the man doesn't sell it by then, of course," Erica says.

They walk around for a few more minutes looking at clothes and used CDs. Brad buys two rare jazz CDs
for Erica so that she is not so sad about the bracelet. But she isn't, anyway. She thinks that looking at the
interesting things sold in the flea market is sometimes more fun than buying them.
