JUSTINE AND HIS FORGIVENESS

It was 6 o’ clock in the morning, and


the roosters are crowing out loud. A boy
named Justine is trying to get off on his bed.
He is a pupil at Pasong Inchik Elementary

Walking along the street from his home

Store to buy some candies. This custom made
his teeth grew black and dented; he is also
experiencing sudden toothache recurrently.

It’s lunch time when Justine and his


classmates decided to go cutting classes for
them to visit El Paso Resort, which is few steps
away from the school. Heading towards the
resort, a sweet idea just came into his mind –
candies. He told his classmates to go first and
he’ll follow after he bought some candies for
them.

Upon buying, he settled on having some of


the candies before going back to his
classmates. As he unwrapped, you’ll see his
eyes sparkling out of joy. He leisurely enjoyed
this crafted piece of heaven until he felt
something, a painful – toothache.

With teary eyes, he came to a decision to go


back to school to seek for help. Running back,
he saw the church beside the school. An
unexplainable thought pushed him to go
towards the church. As the church door was
left slightly open, he goes inside and took a
good spot. He kneels down, closes his eyes,
and pray. Out of the blue, he pictured himself
in wrong doing. He asks for forgiveness for
what he had done. And so he opened his
shattered eyes and found out that the pain was
already gone.
