Input Devices:
Input devices allow you to
communicate with a computer.
You can use input to enter
information and issue commands.
An input device is a piece of computing
equipment used to provide and control
signals to an information processing system. For example, a keyboard, mouse and
clickers are all input devices because they allow you to issue commands and
communicate with your computer.
Output: An output device allows the computer to communicate with its user. Any
information processed by and sent out from an electronic
device is considered “output”. They display information
on a screen, create printed copies or generate sound. For
example, printers, monitors and LCD projectors all
permit the computer to communicate with its user.
Without some type of output the user would not be able
to communicate or interact with the computer.
