Learning occurs, of course, not only in classrooms but

also through information and experiences gained in our daily lives. It has no limits. We may learn a
variety of methods, and science and mathematics play an important part in gaining additional
experiences and information.

J: Science and mathematics are thus the two important channels of knowledge; they have specific roles
yet have various functions for our society’s benefit. For example, improving knowledge and education
and enhancing the quality of life. Therefore, we are honored to welcome you to this year’s Science and
Mathematics celebration with the theme, Sci-Math Stewards: Key to a Better Society. I am Jonel G.
Pabro, and I am May-Ann C. Juan, your today’s program host.

M: (Invocation) To formally start the program, let’s all rise for the doxology to be rendered by the
Amable Dance Troupe. And to be followed by the singing of the National Anthem and SSJ Hymn, to be
conducted by Sir Aecen Angelo B. Hernando, a science teacher. (You may now all be seated)

J: Again, good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen! It’s my privilege to be your emcee this afternoon! For
this most-awaited part of the program. I’m also extremely happy to be accompanied by my very
charming co-emcee, Madam May-Ann Juan.

M: Thank you, sir. It’s a privilege for me to be right here beside you, hosting this event! As this afternoon
fills with excitement, we will soon find out who will be the worthy title holders.

J: Absolutely! I’m pretty sure everyone is excited. So now, while our candidates are getting ready for
their exposure, we would like to call in Sci-Math President Ms. Mary Joy Marinduque for her welcome
remarks.

M: Before we proceed to the highlights of this program, let us hear an inspirational message from our
beloved and enthusiastic school principal, Dr. Lucila B. Aggari.

J: I think everyone is eagerly waiting to see our candidates. But before we witness them battle it out in
the school uniform, scientist attire, casual attire, and question and answer rounds, let's first meet the
people who are designated with the most difficult task for this afternoon. This time, let us get to know
the members of the board of judges and the criteria for judging. May we call in Sci-Math Adviser Ma'am
Daisylyn Tagal and Alyssa Claire Vidad, Sci-Math Vice President.

J&M: So, let us not prolong the agony of waiting. Are you ready, Josephians? Are you all excited to see
our candidates? ... The moment we’ve been waiting for….. Witness our dazzling and handsome
candidates vying for the prestigious title of Mr. and Ms. Sci-Math Ambassador and Ambassadress 2023
on their production number.

M: There you have it ladies and gentlemen (Candidates, you may now proceed backstage to get ready
for the next round of the competition). For the past few weeks, we witnessed how the students show
their abilities in Science and Mathematics in various competitions. This time, let us proceed to the 1st
set of awards starting with Rubik Cube Arranging. (Third, Second, First Place) Congratulations, to the
winners now may we have the results for the… (2 nd set Awarding of winners for Typing Competition….)

And now we are very much excited to witness the most creative and energetic Jingle Competition. Let’s
start to hear from the…….

J: I think our candidates are ready for the next part of our competition. Ladies and gentlemen, let us all
welcome our candidates for their school uniform attire. (Thank you, candidates; we will see you in the
next segment of the competition.)

J: While waiting for our candidates, of course, partner ito yung isa sa pinakamahirap na segment
because they have to change hair, they have to wear their beautiful and innovative science attire. Ladies
and gentlemen, let us all welcome once again on stage our candidates for their Science Attire. (Thank

Before we proceed to the Q & A Round let us first awards the certificate to our Board of
Judges/Technical Working Group

J: Okay so right now, we will be moving to our question and answer portion which is of course my
favorite part of the competition. Yes of course partner because aside from the beauty which is very
obvious, dito mona din sila totally makikilala from their advocacies as well as their belief and
perspective na kanilang hinohold.

M: Correct, we are not just going to understand them; we are going to know what the inside of their
heart is. So again, good luck candidates. Meron lang akong gusto ipakiusap sa ating mga aundience,
syempre mahirap ang sumagot sa ating mga questions lalo na impromptu po ito. So makikiusap po ako
sa ating audience to refrain from booing habang sumasagot po ang ating mga candidates. Pwede po ba
tayong manahimik para makapag-isip po sila ng maayos. So a little reminder lang po na magchecheer
tayo after their answers.
