Organisations today are being asked to address an increasingly complex set of environmental issues.
As noted in the quote:
‘Sustainability is achieved when we understand the economic, environmental, and social
consequences of our actions and make deliberate choices that allow all people to lead healthy,
productive and enjoyable lives.’
In your own words discuss briefly-
1) complex environmental issues
2) methods of measuring an organisation’s environmental impact
3) methods of managing an organisation’s environmental impact
4) methods of reducing an organisation’s environmental impact
1) Complex environmental issues are the common problem that a human is facing. Pollution is
one of the issues because everyday human are always increasing and if there are a lot of
people overpopulation will arise.

2) There are many methods to measure organization’s environment impact but on of those or
the accessible is calculating the carbon footprint. It is the standard way of calculating and
investigating the impact of environmental in a building, land, structure, etc. on the
environment. There is an online calculator that human can use to calculate carbon footprint.

3) These are the steps on how to manage organization’s environment impact. To explain it
clearly it is a system on how the organisation will manage the impact of risk of
environmental issues on their company.

4) These are the system on how the organisation will reduce the impact of environmental
issues that they are facing. The organisation can use a management plan to prevent the
risks.

1. Objective of the program or equipment:

Western Australia ‘s Future Battery Industry


It aims to grow WA’s future battery industry.
Transform WA into a significant source of economic development, diversification, jobs,
and skills.

2. How the program or equipment is implemented, costs factors etc. (brief explanation):

This strategy provides framework with a clear and consistent actions to ensure that WA
Government is leading the nation’s growth in the uptake of opportunities across the global
battery value chain. The fact that WA has a large reserves of minerals used in making
rechargeable batteries, such as quantities of lithium, nickel, cobalt, manganese, and
alumina WA will no longer import resources from the countries.

3. Timeframe for positive environmental results:

The program is already implemented. The positive results of it in our environmental are
the electric cars reduced fossil fuel emissions. Additionally, because of the battery
operated cars, people are no longer inhaling too much smoke in the air that can cause
cancer.
