WEST REMBO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

CLOSING PROGRAM BRIGADA ESKWELA 2022

To our hardworking school principal Mrs. Ma. Mirra L. Alvarez, to our master teachers, faculty and
staff, parents, guests, friends, ladies and gentlemen… Good Morning!

The school is an institution which is responsible in molding the learners into responsible
individuals in the society. This is where one is crafted into a better person, who will be an
emblem of the kind of learning center where he was raised. The multifarious concern of school
demands working with others to accomplish designed tasks and objectives. These would need
dedicated school personnel, cooperative parents and community, partner stakeholders and
innovative learners. DepEd Memorandum No. 12, s. 2006 otherwise known as National Schools
Maintenance Week or commonly called Brigada Eskwela, aims to prepare the school one week or
more before its formal opening of classes. We have finally reached the pinnacle of this month-
long Brigada Eskwela.

I.
To formally begin the program, let us all stand to proudly show our sense of nationalism as we
sing a nationalistic song prepared by Mr. Richard I. Abines which will be immediately followed by
a Thanksgiving Prayer to be led by Mrs. Marlene G. Luczon.

II.
Thank you, Sir Richard, for leading the nationalistic song and Mam Marlene for rendering us
God’s grace.
Through the overwhelming support of the volunteers, classrooms are restructured and spruced
up. All school facilities are now in good condition. The school surrounding is now immaculately
clean. Generally, the school is ready for the school opening. For the welcome remarks, here is
our sedulous Master Teacher II, Mr. Gerry T. Sabangan.

III.
Thank you, sir. Through the effort of all stakeholders, our school is indeed conducive to the
harmonious development of the intellectual and moral endowments of all members of the
academic community. This time, let us call on our very own Brigada Eskwela coordinator, Mrs.
Mary Grace DR. Buhay who tirelessly devote herself in making all the plans possible for the
presentation of accomplishments.

IV.
Thank you, Mam Grace. That was truly awesome! At this juncture, may we call on our dear
principal, Mrs. Mirra L. Alvarez, Faculty representatives, PTA, Barangay representatives, LGU,
and students for the symbolic turnover and acceptance of outputs and donations from our
stakeholders, partners, and donors.

V.
Thank you so much for allowing us to witness the success of this noble program.
Now we have come to the most anticipated part of today’s program, the distribution of
certificates of recognition/appreciation/ participation, to those who render their time, effort,
and resources in making the spirit of bayanihan alive.

VI.
Thank you all beloved teachers, and stakeholders for participating in this great endeavor. Now,
let us lend our ears to the special messages. Let us hear the testimonies of volunteers from the
Bureau of Fire Protection,mam/ West Rembo Substation.

VII.
Thank you, sir. Truly, our school-LGU partnership is treading another milestone in its pursuit for
educational development. At this point in time, let us listen to another message from HQs and
HQS ASCOM, PA.

VIII.
Thank you, mam/sir. Our school benefited not only from better classrooms and facilities but
also from the goodwill of people, who exerted effort, spent time, and shared what they have
for the betterment of the school. Now, let us put our hands together as our dear principal, Mrs.
Ma. Mirra L. Alvarez, give us her special message.

IX.
It felt good to hear your heartfelt and powerful message to us. It was great hearing those
words of wisdom from the expert. Thank you very much Mam Mirra. We have come to the end
of this program yet our exciting journey for this school year has just begun.
Our dear parents, beloved colleagues, valuable guests, we are beyond grateful for sharing with
us your undying support to West Rembo Elementary School. Your contribution to the school is
exceptional because without it, our work will never be accomplished a hundredfold. I believe
that when many people work together, the job gets done faster and it is easier for everyone.
If you want to achieve something big, get everyone involved. An Ethiopian Proverb also says,
“When spider webs unite, they can tie up a lion”. I’m Joan R. Sikat, your host for today, signing
off. Good morning and have a great and peaceful day.
