Caffe is an open source deep learning framework developed at UC Berkeley. It was created by Yangqing Jia during his PhD and is written in C++ with Python and MATLAB interfaces. Caffe supports CNNs, RNNs, and other neural network architectures. In 2017, Facebook announced Caffe2 with new features, and in 2018 Caffe2 merged with the PyTorch framework.

network (RNN). At the end of March 2018, Caffe2 was merged into PyTorch.[13]
