Distributive Justice

This document discusses the issue of balanced development between the Malaysian states of Sabah and Sarawak, and how it relates to the concept of distributive justice. While Sabah and Sarawak contribute significantly to Malaysia's GDP, they also have high poverty rates. The document argues that under the principle of distributive justice and Malaysia's constitution, the government has a duty to equitably share economic development and resources between regions. However, the economic gap between Sabah/Sarawak and other states remains narrow, suggesting current policies do not fully achieve distributive justice. The document compares regional versus national development approaches and provides suggestions like government transparency to better implement distributive justice.
