5 + 5 V 5 Positional Possession

This practice aims to improve passing, decision making, movement, and transition play. It involves 5 players each for the blue, yellow, and red teams in an area measuring 40 by 30 meters. The blue team remains neutral and can play with the team in possession. The yellow team starts in possession and positions players in the area, while the red team presses to win the ball back. Key factors include quality passing, first touch, support angles, creating space, defensive transition, and attacking transition with width and depth. The practice demands high quality play and an option to play two-touch for more advanced players.
