Write an essay discussing only two points. You should explain which point


is more important, giving reasons in support of your answer.

In recent years, the term “home office” has become widely popular among large
business corporations. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, several big companies
have decided to allow their employees to work from home. This system has many
advantages, two of which this essay will elaborate on: its impact on traffic and how it
can help cities reduce the space office buildings require.
Turning to my first point, cities have always been struggling with congested traffic
routes, especially during morning hours when people rush to work. Therefore, by
encouraging residents to stay and work from home, the usage of cars could be
reduced. Not only could this solve traffic issues, but also urban areas would become
less polluted, as carbon emission would drop due to fewer cars.
Secondly, as cities are constantly expanding, the lack of space has become a real
cause for concern. Perhaps, the home office system could help restructure the city in
a way that is both eco-friendly and space efficient. Converting unoccupied office
buildings into residential areas could accomplish this.
Taking into consideration both points, I am thoroughly convinced that mitigating office
space is more important than traffic issues because by solving this problem cities can
increase their residential capacity and provide more housing space.
Effects on traffic: less people will use cars, reduce congestion, less carbon emission
by exhaust fumes, less pollution,
Less burden on the infrastructure, the office buildings could be converted into
residential areas, as cities are constantly expanding the lack of space
