WMS WORK PROCEDURE

PROJECT HTAR UITM

4.0 WORK FLOW

1. Method statement shall be approved by the S.O. prior to start the work on site.
2. To ensure nobody in the lift by parking it at ground floor or top floor (whichever convenient)
before power disconnection to avoid mantrap.
3. Kone subcontractor is to be ready at the assigned motor room to dismantle all neccessary
part.
4. To fix heat shrinkage type termination kit for each incoming power cables. Then, crimp the
cable lugs suited for 50mm2 (melati & mawar) & 16mm for DB Lighting cable for termina-

tion purposes. While for FSPU & Old Engineering 25mm2

5. To turn off the power supply at the MCCB for lift and other relevant switch only by chargemen.

Once power supply disconnected, Kone subcontractor will start to switch all the lift cables
into the permanent switchboard.
6. At the same time, chargeman will terminate the cables by screwing the cable lugs in place for
the designated motor room.
7. Once termination is done, chargeman will do insulation test and phase rotation test for the
cables to ensure no electric leakage and other potential hazard.
8. Finally, power supply is turned back on to reenergized the lifts. Repeat step 2 for the other
motor room.
