Proposal
Title: Integrated design of timber constructions
Reason: The market is demanding for experts on wood
characterization and timber engineering/architecture. The
future of construction passes by the transition to renewable
and eco-friendly materials, where timber is a material of
selection.
Number of partners: 4 partners
Duration: one academic year
Number of students: 50 students (maximum limit)
ECTS: 60 credits
Format: The Master programme would be held on a
rotating basis among partners, with coursework (September
- March) concentrated in two countries each year and
Admission requirements:
dissertation work (April - July) divided by all involved
- Bachelor degree with 240 ECTS (4 years bachelor)
institutions. Dissertation can be performed in any of the

Tuition fee: 9,000 euro (SAHC, BIMA+, FRP++, ….)
Grant (/month):
1400€ (Scholarship holder – max 60) + 750€ (Institutional) (max. 1.8M€)
BIM A+: Up to 2 scholarships of 14,000 Euro (fully tuition fees + a living support of ~500€)
Up to 15 scholarships of 5,000 Euro (partially covering the tuition fees)
FRP++: Up to 2 scholarships of 9 000 EUR (fully covering tuition fees)
Up to 3 scholarships of 6 500 EUR (partially covering the tuition fees)
Up to 6 scholarships of 4 500 EUR (partially covering the tuition fees)

July 2023-January 2024: Promotion and preparation of the Master (consortium meetings, webpage,

16 February 2024: Application to Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM)
September 2024: First edition of the Master
