Self Assesment 2023

In the past year, the document author worked to minimize downtime when the management infrastructure was lost for a week in October 2022. They helped automate lab creation and saved costs by reusing Microsoft training keys. Goals for the coming year include fully automating the data center to reduce time spent on critical issues and having a backup server on the cloud in case of internal data center outages. Key performance indicators are generally rated high, with occasional manual intervention needed when automation issues arise. The overall focus is on minimizing downtime, ensuring smooth lab assignments, and optimizing resource usage.

Section 1 - Accomplishments

1. List your most significant accomplishments or contributions during the past year. Please include any particular 1 month’s
accomplishments, special projects and/or demonstrated strengths during the time.
Ans (1). In the month of October 2022, there was MS dc failure due to management infra lost that time for one week I was continuously working
to make dc available.
(2). I always try to make sure that every batch run smoothly even in nights.

2. Since the last review conversation, have you performed any new tasks or additional duties outside the scope of your regular
responsibilities? If so, please specify.
Ans (1). I helped automation team to build lab faster with my suggestion to create lab on same server where master kits are available.
(2). I helped to save cost of Microsoft labs, like I was giving unused training keys from open Microsoft batches to our internal trainings.

3. Comment upon any challenges or barriers that may have pretended you from achieving your goals or effectively completing work
products. How can such challenges be overcome in the future?
Ans (1). We can automate Microsoft labs (inhouse dc)/Microsoft 365 (managing groups and emails) that will save my lot of time.
(2). If any spam email comes we should have some mechanism which will auto detect spam emails and alert to dc team so we can block those
emails.
(3). Backup automation for RMS Infra because it takes lot of time in taken manual backup.

Section 2 – Goal Settings

1. What are your goals for the coming year and what actions will you take to accomplish these goals?
Ans (1). I want dc to be fully automated so we can work on critical issues like – live batches lab issues. I will continuously find bugs and will give
suggestion to automation team so this can be achieved.
(2). My suggestion is that we can have one backup server on cloud so in case our internal dc goes down then still there will be no issues in our
operations. To achieve this, I will need support of SME’s.
