T1620W

This document provides information on Snubberless 16A Triacs from STMicroelectronics: - The T1620W and T1630W are 16A triacs designed for inductive loads like rice cookers, with voltage ratings from 600-800V. - They use ST's Snubberless technology for high commutation performance without the need for external snubber circuits. - Electrical characteristics including maximum ratings, gate parameters, threshold voltage, and thermal resistance are specified in tables. Curves show maximum power dissipation and RMS current limits versus temperature.

■ IGT = 20 to 30 mA

Description A1
A2
G
Based on ST’s Snubberless technology providing
high commutation performances, the ISOWATT220AB
T1620-600W/700W/800W and T1630-600W are
especially recommended for use with inductive
loads such as rice cookers. They comply with UL
standards (ref. E81734).
