Delhi Government Proposal
Delhi Government Proposal
I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I am writing to present a
proposal that highlights the immense benefits and potential of utilizing drones to
enhance the connectivity of healthcare centres in New Delhi. As a concerned citizen and
advocate for technological advancements, I believe that embracing this innovation can
significantly improve the healthcare infrastructure and services in our city.
OBJECTIVE
1. Improved logistics:
Drones can improve the efficiency of logistics operations by reducing the delivery
time and increasing the volume of goods transported. This, in turn, can lead to
increased trade and economic activity in the region.
2. Increased revenue:
Drones can very well cope with an era of express deliveries and can boost trade and
commerce within the region which in turn can lead to increased tax revenue thereby
benefiting the state.
3. Sustainability:
Logistic drones can operate with lower emissions than traditional transportation
methods, such as trucks or other cargo vehicles, leading to reduced carbon
emissions and improved environmental sustainability. This can be a significant factor
in the government's efforts to promote sustainable development.
4. Employment:
Manufacturing and Services through drones can create job opportunities in the
region, both in direct employment and in related industries that support the logistics
operations.
5. Rapid Response:
Drones can quickly reach remote and inaccessible areas with medical supplies,
reducing response times during emergencies. This speed is crucial in critical
situations where every minute matters.
6. Enhanced Accessibility:
Many healthcare centres in New Delhi face challenges in transporting medical
supplies due to traffic congestion. Drones offer an aerial solution that can bypass
traffic, reducing delivery times and ensuring the availability of essential medications
and equipment.
IMPLEMENTATION PLAN
Pilot Project:
Initiate a pilot project in collaboration with key healthcare centres to test the
feasibility and efficiency of drone-based transportation. Evaluate the system's
performance and address any challenges before scaling up the initiative.
Regulatory Framework:
Collaborate with relevant departments and agencies to develop a comprehensive
regulatory framework for drone operations. This includes defining airspace
regulations, safety guidelines, licensing requirements, and privacy protection
measures.
Infrastructure Development:
Establish dedicated landing pads and charging stations for drones at healthcare
centres and central laboratories. Implement necessary infrastructure to ensure
seamless operations and maintenance of the drone network.
Eminent Air Private Limited specializes in on demand logistics services that offer
reliable and efficient delivery options, resulting in reduced delivery times and increased
capacity for transporting goods. These benefits can enhance economic activity and assist
both the government and the public.
We in Eminent Air are dedicated to develop sustainable logistics solutions that align
with their environmental objectives. We are confident that our advanced drone
technology can make a significant contribution to this effort and help create a greener,
more sustainable future for everyone.
Finally, we offer real-time tracking capabilities, allowing users to track the drone and the
temperature of the payload in real-time. These features make our products an ideal
choice for a wide range of industries, including transportation, logistics, and emergency
services.
With all the capabilities of the multirotor, Our eVTOL drone has the capability of traveling
up to 100+ km. The drone can fly this distance without recharging. This allows the drone
to carry packages up to 5 kg to larger distances.
Our operations team comes with an experience of having successfully completed BVLoS
Drone operations in various environmental conditions and geography of India wiz:
Medicine from the Sky project Telangana' , followed by 100 hours of BVLoS
Flights (Day and night Flying) at Karnataka and Operations in the Hills of Himachal and
Meghalaya in 2021-22 wherein the payload transported included Medicines, vaccines,
food, and documents. The technology includes real-time tracking of the drone and
payload box with options to maintain a Hot or Cold chain temperature environment
for pharmacy products or food.
The transportation and communication network model called the hub and spoke
system involves a central hub that serves as a transfer point to connect multiple
endpoints or spokes within the network. This model enables the hub to act as a
centralized location for managing, coordinating, and distributing goods, services, or
information to the different spokes. By applying the hub and spoke model, logistic
drones can offer numerous benefits, especially in the delivery of medical supplies and
equipment.
One significant advantage of using drones in the hub and spoke model is their ability to
transport medical supplies and equipment rapidly and efficiently over long distances.
This makes it feasible to access remote or hard-to-reach locations that may not be easily
accessible using conventional transportation methods. This feature becomes crucial in
emergency situations where the timely delivery of medical supplies is the only hope of
a critical patient.
As depicted above, A hub and spoke model can be adopted connecting the drone hub
with multiple PHCs, same model can be adopted for Primary Healthcare Centres
being connected to Community Healthcare Centres. In this model, logistic drones can
play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of medical supplies and
equipment from the PHCs to the CHCs. Logistics drones can help reduce the carbon
footprint associated with traditional transportation methods such as traditional road or
air transport. By using electric-powered drones, the logistics process can be made more
sustainable and environmentally friendly.
We understand that New Delhi faces certain geographical constraints when it comes to
drone operations. However, we have developed a comprehensive plan to overcome
these challenges and improve connectivity between healthcare facilities in the National
Capital Region (NCR) and New Delhi. The following pictorial depiction illustrates our
strategy for establishing a robust and efficient healthcare network that ensures swift
response to medical emergencies.
Our aim is to create seamless connectivity between healthcare centres in the NCR and
New Delhi, enabling efficient transportation of medical supplies, laboratory samples, and
emergency services. By strategically deploying drones along designated routes, we can
overcome the limitations posed by conventional transportation methods and ensure a
rapid and reliable response in critical situations.
Despite the geospace restrictions, we have identified alternative flight paths, such as
elevated routes, rooftop landing pads, and designated air corridors, to facilitate the safe
and efficient movement of drones. Additionally, we wish to collaborate with relevant
authorities to ensure compliance with airspace regulations, safety protocols, and
privacy protection measures.
The proposed drone network will significantly enhance the accessibility of healthcare
services in the NCR, especially in remote and underserved areas. By reducing
delivery times and bypassing traffic congestion, drones will ensure the timely availability
of vital medical supplies, thus saving lives and improving patient outcomes.
Drones can operate autonomously, reducing the need for human intervention and
making the logistics process more efficient. This would help reduce costs and increase
the speed of delivery.
We request your support and guidance to make this vision a reality. Together, we can
transform healthcare accessibility and ensure a healthier future for the citizens of New
Delhi. The support from Government of Delhi would be instrumental in setting up a
logistics and healthcare network via drones. I am confident that Government of Delhi
recognizes the immense potential that drone technology holds in enhancing the
efficiency and productivity of businesses.
