1 INTRODUCTION
1.1 Purpose
DeltaV Services App has been created to conduct the execution of Lifecycle
Services at the customer site.

The service offering has been organized in modules that can be accessed by the
service engineers and through which the information collected at the customer site
can be logged to generate a report directly by the service engineers, or send it to
Lifecycle Services team for further analysis and service report generation.

The objective of DeltaV Services App is to execute Lifecycle Services efficiently at

customer sites, by eliminating the use of spreadsheets. Using the app allows the
service engineers to record the results of their visual inspections, collect and
consolidate system information, manual tests on the DeltaV items and Q&A sessions
with the customer. The App helps drive consistency in the execution of Emerson
Lifecycle Services. This document helps users by detailing all the steps needed to :

 Obtain and Install DeltaV Services App on their Laptops.

1.2 Target Group

DeltaV Services App will be used by Service Engineers and Service Managers
located in the different Emerson Field Service Offices around the world, Emerson
Impact Partners in North America and Reps in other World Areas.

1.2.1 Restriction to access DeltaV Maintenance Module (Emerson Impact

Partners – North America and Reps in other World Areas)
For Emerson Impact Partners and Reps, the DeltaV Maintenance Module is
available only to be used on systems that have a DeltaV Preventive Maintenance
Subscription purchased from the factory.

1.3 Connection to Internet needed for creation of a new service in

DeltaV Services App
DeltaV Services App requires that the user be connected to Emerson network while
installing and scheduling a Lifecycle Services prior to the visit to a given DeltaV
system. During the execution at the customer site, that connection is not needed.

2 GETTING A COPY OF THE APP AND ACCESS

2.1 Locations to download a copy of DeltaV Services App
Please go to the Emerson Share point to download a copy of DeltaV Services App:

Press on “Run” and let the setup wizard to install DeltaV Services App on your
computer.

2.2 Requesting Access to DeltaV Services App (username

creation)
Send an email to [email protected] requesting access to DeltaV Services
App and providing the following mandatory information:

 Name

 Email Address

 Emerson Network User Name (For Emerson Employees this is the usual
Windows Username – For Impact Partners : Username provided by Emerson
to access SMS)

 Support Company for which you need DeltaV Services App permissions
(This is the office you work for. Example: Emerson Germany, Novaspect,
etc..)

 DeltaV Services App Requested Role. The options are:

o Service Engineer: Request this role if you are a service engineer in

charge of creating and executing the maintenance for your customer.

o Global: Request this role if you are a service manager in charge of

supervising all the mantenances being executed in your country
and/or region.

Once the Lifecycle Services Team receives and process your request, your Emerson
username will be authorized to access DeltaV Services App according to the
information provided in your email. LCS Team will send a notification about the
creation of your username in DeltaV Services App.

2.3 DeltaV Services App Installation

Run the setup wizard and wait for it to complete the entire installation process.

Once this action is completed, the following window will appear in your device. Press
on “Sign In” button to continue.

2.4 Accessing DeltaV Services App

1. Enter your E-mail ID and your Emerson Okta password in the Sign In window and press
ENTER or press on the “ Sign In” button.

a. Username: Your E-mail ID

b. Password: Your Emerson Okta password

2. If login is not successful, please try to access the below link to check if you have Okta
account.
a. https://accessemr.okta.com/

3. If you do not have Okta account, please create the same from DeltaV Services App login
page.

functionality or questions about the Lifecycle Service itself. Press on the Contact
Support Button, complete the information requested in each field and send the
message pressing on “Send” button.
