Introduction
The Gentle Hands Nursing Home is a 15-bed capacity elderly home project by the Infinity
Corporation to ensure the elderly a safe, loving, and comfortable home at the care of the
compassionate hands of the healthcare workers. One of the company's platforms for eight
years is to give the elderly an appreciation and value. It will be a collaborative project of
the company and the Gentle Hands Program of Aubrey Dialagdon, RN, MD. This project
is a vision between the friendship of these nurses, Donna Casten, Aubrey Dialagdon,
Criselle Kay Billoga, Angelo Justine Abansa, and Yumaika Amerkhan, which was only a
dream ten years ago. Since all of them became successful in their chosen career, they
now can make their dream of building a Nursing Care Facility to come true. They will also
be the one to manage the facility to ensure that the elders will have quality nursing care.
Their unconditional love for their grandparents became their inspiration for this project.
And having seen those elders in the street and home care facilities where they used to
have their OJT as nursing students made them strong-willed and determined to propose
this scheme.
In Gentle Hands Nursing Home, our mission is to make a comfortable home for older
adults where they will be able to socialize, do their hobbies, and feel at ease at the same
time. The facility is planned to be built at Eden, Toril, Davao City because we believe that
the place is suitable for elders to relax and be comfortable because of its cozy and
peaceful ambiance and healthy environment away from the city. Thus, this facility will not
only serve as a home but would also provide a recreational hub for the elderly.
Some of the inclusions of this nursing home is a leisure area where everyone can relax
and feel at home. Clients can have activities such as gardening, reading, yoga, exercises,
playing board games, or anything for them to unwind and socialize during their stay. We
will also have special areas such as rooms for PT consultation and sessions, a mini
cafeteria, private rooms, and a garden. We will ensure that the facility is well-ventilated,
has a strong foundation and structure suitable for the older age, and flood free to keep
the clients safe. Besides, we will be in partnership with DOH, Philhealth, Health Insurance
companies, and SSS to benefit the clients and an additional Pag-ibig for the employees.
Moreover, we will also put a fire exit in case of emergency, and installation of fire
extinguishers, alarm, and sprinklers are readily available.
We want to ensure that in our facility, we highly value the older adults and their needs.
Thus, we will do our best to have a quality nursing home to provide the therapeutic care
they deserve.

M. CONCLUSION
Aging comes with a variety of challenges and obstacles. The loss of independence is one
potential part of the process, as are diminished physical ability and age discrimination.
On the other hand, home healthcare is a trusted solution for keeping loved ones safe,
happy, and comfortable as they age. The main purpose of the corporation is to promote,
maintain, or restore a patient's health and reduce the effects of disease or disability. In
addition, it aims to help individuals to improve function and live with greater
independence. Aside from aiming to gain profit out from the business is to become a
known primary health care provider with complete necessary tools and equipment,
sanitation, and skilled health care provider providing quality amenities and services.
Furthermore, the world’s older population grows dramatically. Thus, we believe that by
providing essential health care needs for older adults will help to reduce burdens, provide
relief for family members, and promote an optimal level of well-being among older adults.
