A while ago, we have introduced to you on our theme for

day. What is our theme again?

Call a student and let him/her answer.

Very good! “God Brings Hope into Our Lives”

What is Hope then?
My dear children,
“Hope” is commonly used to mean a wish : its strength is the
strength of the person's desire. But in the Bible hope is the
confident expectation of what God has promised and its strength
is in His faithfulness.

Jesus gives us hope.

But how?
Let them turn around, and ask them, who are with you now?
Aren’t your brothers or sisters and parents are there with you?
Your together in your house. God brings hope to you through
them. You are loved.

You do attend classes even its online? Yes it is hope from God. Not
all children were given opportunities like you.

10 mins. Activity Power point

Dear students, let us now have our activity.

 Allow them to recall the opening hymn “In

Him Alone”.
 Ask them the guide questions:
What word/s or line that struck
you?
What do you think is the
message of the song/prayer?
If you want you may sketch,
write or draw in your notebook
something that touched you
from the song.
You may share it to the class so
that they too may be inspired.

Scripture Verses:
1 Peter 1:3-5- Jesus our Living hope

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord
Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he
has caused us to be born again to a living
hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ
from the dead, 4 to an inheritance that is
imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in
heaven for you, 5 who by God's power are being
guarded through faith for a salvation ready to
be revealed in the last time.

1 Peter 3:18- Jesus Our Only Hope

18
For Christ also suffered once for sins, the
righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to
God. He was put to death in the body but made
alive in the Spirit.

Jeremiah 29:11- “For I know the plans I have

for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper
you and not to harm you, plans to give you
hope and future.”

5 mins. Challenge:

Receiving Hope from God, Sharing Hope to Others in their

Own Special Ways as children

Despite the pandemic, God brings hope to us

through our parents who constantly care and
love us, your teachers, your classmates,
friends, our front liners, etc. God gives us our
loved ones as His manifestations of His love
for us, He is our hope, he remains our hope,
and will always be…
A challenge to us all, that after we have
experienced God’s hope in our lives, we are
also called to be God’s hope to others… to
your classmates, to your teachers, to your
family, especially your parents and siblings.
By sharing your blessings to others… by being
generous. Just like our Lord Jesus who gives
His life for all of us…

5 mins. Word of thanks

Thank you dear Grade 5 students for your

active participation in this recollection.
Remember, God brings us hope into our lives
and we are to share it also to our brothers and
sisters in our own little but yet special ways…
Again, thank you so much! This is Bro. Armel,
Bro. Samuel and Bro. Glenn, praying for you all
and have a blessed day to all.
Let us now have our closing prayer. Let’s pray
with this music video.
