Responsibility of Parents
This booklet has been design to provide you with information on the subject and the coursework project. The project work will span over a period of nearly 19 months. Your child has been given ample time to work and complete the project. The teacher will monitor the coursework but it is also your responsibility to do so. You will be provided with a time plan, along with the submission dates for correction/monitoring. You are strongly advised to regularly check the progress sheet provided in the booklet and to sign. Along with the teacher, you will also be required to regularly check and monitor your childs progress in the coursework. Time plan The deadline for the completion of the different design stages are as shown below. It is important that your child keep in track with the given time plan so as not to accumulate work which may eventually lead to submission of poor quality rush job or incomplete work where in either case your ward would be penalised. Not keeping in trend with the time plan can also seriously impedes the revision and preparation of your ward for the HSC examination as much revision time should be then devoted to the completion of the design coursework.
