ABOUT THE PROMOTERS

Mr. Ayub Khan aged about 40 years is having over 3 years experience in

manufacturing of mineral water. The Promoter is technically qualified, well

experienced and financially sound besides possessing the required managerial

competence and business skills to make the proposed project a successful and

profitable venture.

Brief Details of the Project and Manufacturing process.

Major impurities of water are Non-ionic & undissolved physical impurities.

[Turbidity, Odour, Colouretc], Ionic and dissolved impurities [Ca, Mg, Na, So4, Cl,

iron,etc] Microbiological impurities [ Bacteria, Virus, Pathogens etc]. There are

various processes employed to purify the water and various combinations of the

processes are incorporated to ensure that final composition of the product confirms

to the most stringent norms. How ever the proposed project have employed the

following method of purifying and chilling the purified water. In order to purify the

water unit requires water treatment plant and packing plant and chilling plant. The

Raw water, after chlorination is required to be stored to achieve a detention time as

per process there after Though RO System rejects all the micro – organisms like

bacteria & virus; it may redevelop in packed bottles over a period of time. Hence, it is

necessary to disinfect RO Product water prior to bottling. In the Ozone Generator,

Ozone is formed by energetic excitation of molecular oxygen, causing some of it to

disassociate into oxygen atoms, which can recombine with oxygen. The most

practical way to do this in an ozone generator is via a method called "silent-arc" or

"corona" or "brush" discharge. The discharge occurs when charged electrons flow

through a gas containing oxygen.Ozone is used in water treatment for its oxidative

qualities. Ozone oxidizes both organic and inorganic substances; removes unwanted

taste, odor and color; and provide effective disinfection. Ozone is extremely efficient

as a bactericide, fungicide and virucide, killing even chlorine-resistant

Cryptosporidium. Another benefit is that ozone does not lead to the formation of

trihalomethanes (THMs), which are formed when chlorine is added to raw water

containing humic materials. Once a THM is formed, it is difficult to oxidize, even with

MARKET SURVEY

The field of manufacturing of mineral water and chilling the same is broad-based.
With increasing contaminated water in nirmal the Domestic demand for chilled
mineral water is expected to grow faster. The total demand for such
materials is likely to be increased in next 2 years. The chilled water
manufactured is supplied for house hold consumptions and parties
consumptions. The said product is supplied to regions near nirmal
covering the radius of 20 kilometers.

As promoter in the business of manufacturing of package drinking water from 2


years, the personal relationships with distributors and retailers gives advantage
for its publicity.
So, considering the above factors, it is assured that setting up of unit near
Nirmal will be of better prospect as we can meet the needs of the demand in and
around Nirmal.
