SwOS is a firmware optimized for MikroTik L2 switches: RB260GS(CSS106-5G-1S), RB260GSP(CSS106-1G-4P-1S), CRS305-1G-4S+, CRS309-1G-8S+, CRS328-
4C-20S -4S+, CRS328-24P-4S+, CSS326-24G-2S+, CRS326-24G-2S+, CRS317-1G-16S+, CRS326-24S+2Q+, CRS312-4C+8XG. In the settings you can find:
configuring the local network, network ID, Watchdog tool, restricting administrative access, VLAN, port isolation, monitoring functionality, and support for SNMP v1.

The switch can be seen in the WinBox utility, which immediately opens a web window for further settings.

You need to go through two tabs, designating Port1 as tagged (trunk), and Port3 and Port5 as untagged (access):

VLAN Mode = enabled - we designate the port as tagged (trunk).

disabled - disabled.
optional - remove all VLAN ID tags and transfer traffic without them.
enabled – packing/receiving data only from the specified VLAN ID. Typically, this setting item is used to create a VLAN ID on the switch.
strict – packing/receiving data from the specified VLAN ID of this port and the neighboring port of the device.

VLAN Receive = any - a filter that can cut tagged and untagged packets.

Default VLAN ID - set the value of the VLAN itself.

To designate an untagged (access) port, you need to set VLAN Mode = optional and set the Default VLAN ID equal to the VLAN ID label.

VLAN ID - specify the VLAN that will be on the Members ports

Port Isolation - If this setting is disabled, the Switch will ignore the port isolation configuration and only forward traffic with a specific VLAN ID to ports marked
as Members .

Learning - Enables or disables learning of MAC addresses in a specific VLAN . If this setting is disabled, all learned MAC addresses will be displayed as they were
received from VLAN 1 .

There is a description, but the following is not clear:


1) how to make untagged traffic and tagged traffic go on the port at the same time
2) how to make an untagged port in some kind of velan
3) how to make a trunk port with several velans
As I understand it, for these tasks, 2 tabs are involved: on the VLAN tab, we specify the port parameters + default Wealan, and on the VLANs
tab, we indicate which Wealans the ports are in, right?
