PCB Design Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

Zimplistic is looking for a PCB Design Engineer- Hardware for our Dumagueteoffice. You
will be part of the core R&D team with overall responsibility of Hardware design for
Rotimatic.

The ideal candidate is a true engineer and problem solver at the core and is passionate
about the product with real world understanding of how to go from concept to production.

We believe some of these skills are only acquired by actually going through some end-to-
end product life cycle experience and expect the candidate to have had such exposure.

Following would be your Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all areas of electronics research & development relevant to the
product specifications and development.
• Collaborate with the R&D teams, mechanical engineering, and software teams to
resolve product issues.
• Able to write embedded software/firmware for proof of concepts
• Proficient in Schematic Capture/PCB Layout/Design Verification and Validation and
also generating Bill of Materials and FMEA Reports.
• Liaise and coordinate with vendors and contract manufacturers on all activities,
schedules, and deliverables.

Required Skills:

• Should have at least 5 years of relevant work experience.


• Involved in RnD to production cycle for at least 3 new products.
• Able to write simple embedded software/firmware for proof of concepts
• Proficient in Schematic Capture/PCB Layout/Design Verification and Validation and
also generating Bill of Materials and FMEA Reports.
• A solid understanding of Electronic Design Automation software. Proficiency in
Altium or similar design software.
• System design experience and should have worked in Environmental Testing and
EMC Design.
• Hands-on experience in PCB, PIC or equivalent is required.
• FRESH GRADS with Excellent Academic Records are welcome to apply as Cadet Engr

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of embedded software design and programming.


• Familiarity and desire to work in a very demanding and fast-paced consumer
electronics development environment.

Soft skills:

• Leadership demonstrated in multi team coordination scenario


• Highly Innovative Team Player with strong Analytical and communication skills.
