Homunculus

A homunculus is a construct created with a core that holds traits. It is genderless and immortal unless its core is destroyed. It can regenerate at a rate of 1 pound per hour. A homunculus starts with 2 traits that increase every 3 levels. It has resistances and does not require food, water, oxygen or sleep. Traits provide bonuses like +1 to ability scores or skills. Higher level traits include shape shifting, sneak attack, and reducing dormancy time needed for a long rest.

Racial features
Age
As long as a homunculus's core is intact they can live indefinitely Immune to
magical aging effects. They are considered a full adult as soon as they are made
Gender
They are Innately genderless unless specified by creator

Alignment
The alignment of a homunculus is influenced by their creator Most of the time

Size
Affected by the body sculpting

Movement
Bass movement of 30 ft

Core Traits
As a homunculus is a construct they have a core and in the process of creation 5
traits plus one type trait are inscribed on there core That don't need to be read
inscribed when the body is destroyed

Natural regeneration
Over time a homunculus will regenerate the putty it's made of 1 pound an hour

Removable core
Since the body of a Homunculus Is just made out of putty the core can be
removed though their body becomes inanimate until the core is reinserted

Homunculus traits
Starting at level 1 a homunculus can pick 2 Homunculus traits And learning one
more every 3 levels a homunculus can inscribe new traits into their body but if the
body is destroyed A homunculus must take One day per trait to reinscribe it into
their body

Resistances
As a homunculus You are immune to diseases
You are resistant to poisons
You do not require food, water, or oxygen
You don't require sleep And you have a Advantage against sleep magic
Dormant state
Can take long rests but can also go into a dormant state for 4 hours For the same effect

Core traits
These are the traits that are inscribed onto a homunculus is core The strength,
agile, tough, smart, wise, and charismatic type traits Can be taken more than
once and the effects stack

Strength type
+1 to strength

Agile type
+1 to dexterity

Tough type
+1 to constitution

Smart type
+1 to intelligence

Wise type
+1 to wisdom

Charismatic type
+1 to charisma

Core movement
Allows one to move around their core in their body

Runner
Increases one's movement speed by 20 Feet
Darkvision
60 ft of dark vision Increase to 120 ft at 4th level and allows 60 ft of dark vision in
magical Darkness at level 8. You are able to see color
Magical Adept
You can learn one cantrips from any spell list
Natural armor
Your body is magically Harden +4 to AC
Homunculus traits
Shifter
You can use the effects of disguise self on yourself at will and the effects of
polymorph twice per day on yourself. It increases in the amount of uses every 3
Levels. Using one's total level as the CR limit
Can only turn into magical creatures And humanoids at level three It takes a
complete action to shape-shift in battle. You can either use the physical stats of
the creature or your own physical stats

Unarmored defense
Similar to a barbarians or monks unarmored defense But it still works with
medium armor. AC = 8 + Wis + Dex + Other modifiers Does not stack with
classes unarmored defense take whichever is higher

Skilled
Skilled feet

Weapon master
Gain a + 5 bonus to attack rolls with one specific weapon

Sneaky
Gain a + 5 to sealth

At level 6

Deep Sleep
You now only to be in dormant state for 2 hours to get the effects of a long rest

Guardian
As long as it's active you take half damage but all enemies focuses on you

Hidden Blade
You gain a sneak attack that deals 3d6 if taken with the class feature sneak attack it
only gives you a plus 1d6 to your sneak attack
