Objective : Predict loan defaulters by analyzing various attributes to mitigate banking losses and foster economic growth
• Carried out Exploratory Data Analysis and feature engineering on defaulters dataset with over 65,000 records and over 30 features
• Implemented Random Forest algorithm on regular data as baseline and oversampled data using SMOTE to address the class imbalance
• Successfully achieved an average F1-score of 0.81 for the trained classifier after hyperparameter tuning by using randomized search CV

• Performed web scraping using BeautifulSoup library in Python, to gather player scores and statistics from ESPN Sports website
