TOPIC/CHAPTER: DRAWING SHEETS AND VIEWS

INSTRUCTION:

1. Use Solid works to make an engineering drawing of the part.


2. Make a top, front, side and isometric views.
3. Provide complete dimensions so that a machinist could make the part from the
drawings using A4 paper
4. Each student is required to submit a drawing contains the model, view and
dimensioning based on the assignment questions.
5. Mode :
6. Save the parts of drawing as: (pdf, dwg and prt)
7. Submit the soft copy part and drawing to Eklas system.
8. This lab report will carry 5% of your subject weightage.

Assessment:

The 3D solid model should be evaluated based on the following criteria:

1. Object construction in model space 6 points


2. Layout space 6 points
3. Dimensioning and lettering 6 points
4. ANSI drafting standards 6 points
5. Note taking and use of skills developed in previous lessons 6 points
Create a model block as shown in the figure below and present in the drawing sheet
