Students participated in modules on English, computers, maths, science and social responsibility. Feedback was positive and the program gave new students insight into engineering education requirements.

A report on three weeks Induction program for first year B.Tech Electrical engineering students:
As per guidelines of AICTE three week long Induction program was organized in Electrical Engineering
department from 1 August to 21 August 2018. The induction program was focused on providing orientation
towards engineering education, ethics and exploring the new entrants on pre requisites of engineering
education like engineering mathematics, computer programming, and communication skill, basic
engineering science and local amenities. A session on stress management and address by Hon’le Vice
Chancellor and Prof. B.B. Singh were useful for inspiring budding engineers and molding their career.
Initially students were taken round to University for getting acquaintance with different departments and
sections. Later on they are redistributed with smaller groups with leader mentor for their guidance. In order
to bring harmony amongst learning groups different modules were delivered like English speaking course,
computer literacy, basic engineering maths and basic engineering science course. In order to expose them
in social responsibility a module on NSS and NCC activates in campus were shared by Prof. H.N
Warahatkar and Dr. Capitan Milind Bhagt.
In nutshell this three week Induction program has given greater insight to new entrants on engineering
education requirements and accomplishments.
The feedback from the students were positive.
The coordinator and Head of the department recorded their thanks to all authorities and contributor for
smooth and successful of induction program.
Schedule, some feedback and snapshots of said program is attached here with for record.
