I-METHOD STATEMENT T&C OF PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM

1. Purpose
This document describes the methodology for testing & commissioning of Fire Alarm System
in accordance with the approved project quality plan and relevant system specifications, and to ensure that
all concerned persons are familiar with the sequence of activities, utilization of resources, and execution of
the works in compliance with applicable Safety and Quality Procedures, and Project Documents and
Specification.

2. Reference
• Contract Specifications.
• Contract Related Drawing.
• Approved Material Submittals.
• Approved Shop Drawing & Coordination Drawing.
• Manufacture Recommendation for Installation & Commissioning.

3. Tools / Equipment
• Tools Kit.
• Measuring Tape.
• Ladder / Scaffolding.
• Calibrated Multimeter
• Safety Equipment Tools such as Safety Shoes, Safety Helpmate, Safety Glass,
Fluorescent vest and
Safety Gloves to ensure maximum ability of safe work and dust mask when required.

4. Pre-Commissioning
• Visual check the Control Panel, Detectors and Devices installed as per approved
Drawing.
• Visual check zone properly indicated and marked.
• Visual check Power indicator lamp operation.
• Visual check pull station, break glass, alarm bell, strobe light and flashlight mounted
acceptable as
per approved shop drawing

• Visual check all detector devices, Smoke, Heat, and Control Module mounted
acceptable as per
approved shop drawing.

• Check Fire Location Monitoring on Main Panel operate correctly.


• Check Break Glass, Alarm Bell, Strobe Light operated correctly.
• Check all Detector Devices, Smoke, Heat and Module operated correctly.
