11- Economics Project guideline.

Marks distribution:

1. 10 marks for project.

How to go about it?
1. Select an economics theory either from Micro-Economics or from Macroeconomics that is not in your course.
2. Introduce the economist of the Theory. Her or His life story, their work in field of economics, any awards or recognition.
3. Give an introduction and an overview about the theory in your own words.
4. Take a real-life example, to which the theory fits perfectly and explain why you think it is an appropriate example. (Use
pictures, graphs, tables and data to justify your choice)
5. Evaluate the advantages and limitations of the theory and draw your inferences.
6. If you were to rewrite the same theory, what would it be and explain how you think it will apply better to the real world
scenario.
NOTE: Any data or references you must disclose the source. No source no marks.
You can make the final presentation in the following way.
1. A word document between 3500 to 4000 words.
Use your creativity to express and preset your final work.
The expectations of the project work are that:

 Project should be of 3,500-4,000 words (excluding diagrams & pictures).
 It will be an independent, self-directed piece of study.
 A4 sheet white paper without lines, spiral binded in black colour.
 The margins should be 1cm, gutter margin should be 1.5 cm.
 Acknowledgement, Index and Bibliography should be added to the project report/ppt.
