Faisalabad, often referred to as the "Manchester of Pakistan," is a city that thrives on its

industrial prowess and unceasing energy. One of the key indicators of its dynamism is its
intricate network of bustling roads that weave through the city, carrying the lifeblood of
commerce and activity. These busy roads not only symbolize Faisalabad's economic vigour
but also serve as a reflection of its vibrant culture and relentless spirit.

Faisalabad, located in the province of Punjab, has long been a prominent player in Pakistan's
industrial landscape. The city is renowned for its textile industry, which has earned it the
moniker "Manchester of Pakistan." Textile factories, mills, and workshops are spread across
the city, contributing significantly to the national economy. The bustling roads of Faisalabad
are the arteries through which raw materials flow in and finished products flow out,
connecting industries and businesses in a ceaseless dance of commerce.
At the heart of Faisalabad's road network is the historic Grand Trunk Road, which passes
through the city, connecting it to other major cities like Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi. This
artery of transportation plays a pivotal role in facilitating trade and travel, making it a
common sight to witness a constant stream of vehicles, from massive trucks laden with goods
to small cars navigating through the bustling traffic.

The Grand Trunk Road, however, is just the beginning. Faisalabad's internal road
infrastructure is equally bustling, with wide avenues and narrow alleys crisscrossing the city.
These are the busiest roads in Faisalabad Circular Road, Jaranwala Road, Samundri Road,
and Sheikhupura Road are some of the other significant routes that define Faisalabad's road
network. These roads are lined with shops, markets, restaurants, and commercial centres,
exuding a lively atmosphere and an unmistakable urban energy.
In the heart of Faisalabad's urban landscape, Circular Road stands as a testament to the city's
rich history, dynamic culture, and economic vitality. This iconic road weaves its way through
the fabric of the city, connecting neighbourhoods, markets, historical sites, and modern
developments. Choosing Circular Road as a focal point is an inspired decision.

As is well known, the Faisalabad area has a significant probability of traffic congestion. As a
result, accidents could happen on certain roadways. Therefore, our lecturer gave us the task
of choosing the busiest route in Faisalabad. We decide on the area of Circular Road,
Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan. The busiest road in Faisalabad has been recognised to be this
one. This road is close to the commercial area. This is the reason why so many people visit to
shops. Due to the potential client base created by the traffic flow, busy highways may have a
higher concentration of commercial facilities like shops, and restaurants.

There are 8 linking roads in all, and they are Rail Bazar, Jail Road, Chiniot Bazar, Link Road,
Katchary Bazar, and Link Road 2, Kotwali Road, Govt. College Road. As long as we know,
there is a lot of traffic on this road. The high volume of traffic on busy routes regularly causes
congestion, especially during peak hours. This could lead to traffic jams and slower travel
times. On major roads, multiple lanes are typically provided to handle the considerable
traffic. To aid vehicles and guarantee smooth traffic flow, circular roads are not clearly
defined with lane separators, directional signs, and road markings. On one side of the road,
there are just two lanes, one line is of 12 feet though. One lane is occupied by the parking.
We observe that the traffic signals there are operational. The distance between the shoulder
line and the partition is 6 inches, thus it must be 0.8 meters. Pedestrians are 2.5 feet wide,
while drains are 3 feet wide. While traffic signals are only available at point c1, u-turns are
only available at the junction point.
Busy roads are equipped with traffic lights, stop signs, yield signs, and other traffic control
systems in order to regulate traffic and preserve safety.
