Umbrella offers an advanced recursive DNS service. It provides DNS inspection and much more.

It is a
cloud-based service; it consolidates security services at one place despite of the recent decentralized
network trend. Umbrella services are very fast and highly resilient because of extensive BGP peerings
and anycast routing. It is fully controllable from a single configuration and reporting dashboard. It offers

DNS traffic can be redirected to umbrella in several ways:

On-network (when the clients are connected in corporate network. Using internal DHCP to provide
umbrella DNS server IP address.

Internal DNS (internal DNS is configured to send the query to forward the query to umbrella cloud.
