2022 Project Director

Spotlight
Rust Foundation Project Directors serve as the board’s technical advisors and representatives of
the Project. Without the hard work, dedication, and significant investment of time on behalf of the
Project Directors in 2021 & 2022, the Rust Foundation would not have been able to establish itself
as a committed and proactive foundation designed to support the Rust programming language
and the communities of maintainers developing it.
The Rust Foundation would like to thank our 2022 Project Directors for their time, leadership, &
advocacy of the needs and interests of the Rust Project.

Since our inception, the Rust Foundation’s Project Directors have been an integral part of our
ongoing work to positively impact the experiences of Rust community members & maintainers.
As these terms last two years, we’re excited to work with both new and re-elected Project Directors
in 2023.

The Rust Foundation would also like to congratulate the Rust Project and community
for all of their hard work in 2022. To review the major Rust Project developments in 2022,

Member Director Spotlight

Rust Foundation Member Directors sit on our board as active representatives of the Member
organizations that employ them. By fulfilling this necessary leadership role and collaborating with
Rust Foundation Project Directors on a monthly basis, they support the professionalization of the
Rust language and vote on important motions that affect the work carried out by the Foundation.
Without their participation and generous support over the past two years, we would not have been
able to develop, fund, and shape and the important programs described in this report.
The Rust Foundation would like to thank our 2022 Member Directors for their effort, guidance,
& representation of our generous member organizations.

for those passionate about Rust.
