A lengthy poem we present you once more
SARAWAK.....LAND OF THE HORNBILL
That’s our title for sure
Hear Ye...Hear Ye...

The land of hornbill, Sarawak my home
Where we...you and I happily live and play
Luscious forest heaven to some
Shopping malls and tall buildings sprouting every day

11 Proud divisions my home and you
Yoohoo...
Kuching, Sibu, Miri and of course BINTULU
Each is rich with its own heritage
For every tourist; local and overseas to take full advantage

I have friends too
We all have friends

A truly melting pot Sarawak is second to none
Where the people are made up of different races and different ethnicity
Like our team...Especially our TEAM...
Iban, Bidayuh, Chinese, Malay, Melanau, Indian and Penan
From different places; in harmony and in UNITY.....

Selamat datai....Oooooha.... the famous saying
Colourful greetings from
the brave warriors ...and beautiful maidens...
Weeewitttttt
Once a headhunter the Ibans are truly amazing...
Longhouses, ngajat, Gawai Dayak and
not forgetting the TUAK.....
All are forever intriguing

The Chinese are cool and they are our brothers too...
Hakka, Hokkien and Foo Chow from Sibu,
Famous tycoons and also businessmen
Building our glorious state and also our nation

Beautiful culture and fascinating people too,
Nothing can beat the courageous Melanau
Why?
Fear factor champion and never number two.
Fear Factor?
How come?
Let us tell you why...

Their love for the sago makes unique delicacies
A kilo of sago worms NOT ENOUGH have to buy TWO KGs
Really my friend? Two kgs?
That’s right....
Many would cringe at the sight of it...ewwwwww
Emmm yummyyyyy!
The delicious sago worms the head so crunchy...

The indigenous Penan in the dark no more
As educated
As modern
And Standing tall with all
A crucial part of Sarawak identity
Forever in peace and in prosperity

Prosperity Burger?
No!
But
The next few stanzas will make everyone go hungry...

Every string tastes so heavenly....
Even in Singapore; KL too; they enjoy them daily...

Making headlines from Perlis to Kota Kinabalu
Sedap bahhhhhh....
Every layer will melt like snow
Sarawak Kek Lapis; Layer Cake; can be exported to the rest of the world

The infamous buah dabai and local palm fruit...
Palm fruit?....Or better known to local as buah salak...
Oh! Buah salak
Forever in abundance at our local Tamu...
