Dear Janmejay Pathak,
I hope this email finds you well. Firstly, congratulations once again on your selection for the
second round of the Innovation Manager Internship at Thermal USA. We have been
thoroughly impressed with your performance and potential, and we are excited to take your
candidacy further in the selection process.
I am writing to inform you that the interview for Round 2 will be held on August 23, 2023, at
12:00 PM Indian Standard Time (IST). Please make sure to mark this date on your calendar
and ensure that you are available for the interview at the specified time.
For the second round, we would like you to create a capstone project on ES (Enterprise
Solutions), which you have learned during the course of your studies. This project will
provide you with an opportunity to showcase your knowledge, skills, and innovative ideas in
the context of our organization's needs. The details and guidelines for the capstone project
will be sent to you shortly before the interview date.
In addition to your performance in the capstone project, there are certain academic criteria
that need to be met for eligibility in further rounds of the internship selection process:
1. You must have achieved a CGPA of 9.0 or higher in your 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th
semesters (if the result is announced) of your academic program.
2. It is important to clear any backlogs from the first year by the end of your 5th
semester. We do not consider the 1st and 2nd semester for this evaluation.
3. If you have an outstanding CGPA of 9.5 or above in all three semesters (3rd, 4th, and
5th), you will directly proceed to Round 5, the final round of the selection process.
Round 4 will be waived for candidates who meet this criterion.
We understand that there can be challenges and backlogs in the first year of academic
pursuits. The eligibility criteria are designed to provide a fair assessment of candidates'
abilities and potential while considering their academic journey.
The final round of the internship selection process is scheduled for July 2024. If you
successfully advance to Round 5 and are selected, the internship will commence from July
2024 and continue until January 2025.
