Located

Morocco is located in the northwest corner of Africa that is bordered by the North Atlantic Ocean
and the Mediterranean Sea. Morocco is about the same size as California. The high Atlas Mountains
separates the mild coastline from the harsh Sahara. Morocco was made a French protectorate in
1912 but regained independence in 1956. Today it is the only monarchy in North Africa.
Moroccans are warm, welcoming, and hospitable people.

Culture
The culture of Morocco has been influenced by many different ethnicities such as Arabs, Jews,
French, and Spanish. Moroccan people follow the principles of Islam, Moroccan families has
a strong foundation in unity, whatever it is the nuclear family as well as the extended one. 
Food
Tagine is one of the most famous food in Morocco which is also known as their tradition food . A
tagine, sometimes spelled “tajine,” is a traditional Moroccan cooking vessel made of ceramic or
unglazed clay with a round base and low sides. A cone-shaped cover sits on the base during
cooking.
Clothing
The traditional Moroccan clothing for both men and women is called djellaba, a long loose
outfit with long sleeves and hood. On special occasions they also wear a red cap which is
locally called fez. Women wear kaftans dazzled by ornaments.
